Every Man and Woman has a History – Our very life is a Tale to be Told

And, this Tale is a Story that needs to be Told

Our Years here on Earth are Likened to a Tale that is to be Told – and we are the Story Tellers – Psalm 90:9

Psalm 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. KJV

From the Coal Fields of West Virginia to the Israeli-Lebanese Border on the Day Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 and a Convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on Motorcycles attempted to breach the Israeli-Lebanese Border and cross over into Metulla where I was staying – God has been with me and protected me, and it is to the Glory of God and His Mercy and Lovingkindness that I have a Story to Tell.

The Israel-Lebanon Border is directly behind me.  In fact, you can actually see the

Lebanese town of Kfar Kila, Lebanon directly behind me.

Like my Scottish Forebears, the Tales that I have Written about are based on my own Personal Experiences which are directly related to my Spiritual Experiences and written to the Glory of God.

My name is Gwendolyn Skeens Thomas.  I was born in the Coals Fields of West Virginia and like my father who was a coal miner, I have no college degree.  And, l like the Galileans in Scripture, I have no formal Biblical education.  More to the point, like the Galileans, I was taught by the Lord Jehovah who would awaken me morning by morning.  The Lord would awaken my ear to hear as they that are taught.  He awakened my ear to listen – to hear as one of His Disciples, as one who is taught by the Lord.

Isaiah 50:4

The Lord God has given Me [His Servant] the tongue of disciples [as One who is taught], That I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple [as One who is taught].  Amplified Bible

In heart and in Spirit I am a Galilean: Like the Galileans as well as Christ Himself, I have been persecuted because I have no college degree.  I have been mocked because I don’t always place commas where they should go or pronounce words as the so-called educated do and so on.  However, the so-called learned, who always want me to come under their umbrella so that I will give them the revelation to publish under their ministry that God gave me, need to be mindful of Christ’s Words as recorded in Luke 10:17-21.

Luke 10:17-21  ¹⁷ When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to Him, “Lord, even the demons obey us when we use Your name!” ¹⁸ “Yes,” He told them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! ¹⁹ Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. ²⁰ But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.” ²¹ At that same time Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit, and He said, “O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever, and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way. NLT

The House of Skene:  My Scottish Forebears were Imprisoned for their Christian Faith to the Point of Death 350 years ago.  Their last name, “Skene,” was a reference to the Feast of Tabernacles and the Presence of God in their lives, and so it is with me.  God’s presence in my life is part of my Spiritual DNA and in the context of Psalm 90:9, it is part of the Tale I have to Tell – it is the story of my life.

Over 350 years ago my Scottish Forefather Alexander Skene, while still in prison for his faith, along with George Keith co-authored a Book, "The Way Cast Up, And the Stumbling-blocks removed from before the feet of those, who were seeking the way to Zion, with their faces thitherward.”  Jeremiah 50:5

The Way to Zion:  To set their faces "thitherward" indicates that it is because of their steadfastness of purpose that God's Remnant will not be turned aside by any difficulties that they may encounter on their pilgrimage to Jerusalem.  And now, over 350 years later and according to God’s will for my life, thanks be to God who has removed all the obstacles in my path, I will once again make my way to Zion.  The year 2025 will mark over a dozen pilgrimages that I have made to Jerusalem where I will once celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles alongside the Jewish people. 

My Scottish Forebears wrote many articles, letters, poems and books about their love for Israel and what it meant to serve the Lord.  And, this Book is about the spiritual aspects of God's Faithfulness to the "House o Skene" of which I am Blessed to be a Daughter.

While in prison my Scottish Forebear wrote a book where he referenced the Prophet Jeremiah who tells us that those who were seeking the Lord their God asked the way to Zion with their faces thitherward.  And, so it was with my Scottish Forebear who had set his face thitherward towards Jerusalem.  That his face was turned towards Jerusalem reveals my Scottish Forebear’s steadfastness of purpose, not to be turned aside by any difficulties on the way to Jerusalem.  It means that during his time of imprisonment that my Scottish Forebear often thought of Jerusalem in the depth of his captivity (Psalm 137:1) that he longed to be in Zion and that he was determined to go there.

Jeremiah 50:4-5 ⁴ In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. ⁵ They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. KJV

God will Show Mercy and Loving Kindness to Thousands of the Sons and Daughters of those who love Him with all their Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength  (Exodus 20:6)

I am one of those Thousands who Bears Witness to the Biblical Truths of Exodus 20:6

In the context of Psalm 90:9, God’s Mercy and Loving Kindness is part of the Tale I have to Tell – God’s Mercy and Loving Kindness and Faithfulness to the Truths of Exodus 20:6 is key to the story of my life. God’s presence in my life is of the utmost importance to the story of my life.  The Apostle Paul tells us that if we boast we should boast in the Lord, and, it is because of God’s faithfulness, loving kindness and presence in my life that I feel my story is worth telling.  1 Corinthians 1:31

A Story to Tell:  My Story begins with my Pilgrimage to Israel’s Galilee in October 2023 where Jesus spent 30 of His 33 years of life here on earth.  More specifically, my Tale begins with my pilgrimage to Metulla located in the Galilee and the northernmost town in Israel.

Hamas, the Iranian-Backed Terrorist Organization, attacked Israel while I was on the Border Israel shares with Lebanon, a Stronghold of Hezbollah, another Iranian-Backed Terrorist Organization: The Tale I want to Tell begins on October 7, 2023 because while I was in Metulla in the north of Israel, Hamas, the Iranian -backed Terrorist Group, attacked Israel in the south of Israel.  And, on that same day while I was still in Metulla, Israel’s Prime Minister declared that the State of Israel was at war with Hamas.  The date stamp on the following picture confirms that I was in Metulla, Israel on the day Hamas attacked Israel.

Actually, my Pilgrimage to Metulla in October 2023 was the continuation of the work that God began in my life in May 22, 2000, the day that the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from the Security Zone they manned in Lebanon back onto Israeli soil through the “Good Fence” Border Crossing located on the Israeli side of the border in Metulla, which was the official border crossing between Israel and Lebanon at the time.

The “Good Fence” Border Crossing was originally located in Lebanon and was/is known by the Lebanese as the “Fatima Gate,” named in honor of the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad.  And, to this day the Lebanese want the Fatima Gate relocated to the Lebanese side of the Border to restore the Glory of Fatima the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad.

And, on October 7, 2023, this was where I was standing in the Fatima Gate, a Gateway of the Enemy that God told Abraham his seed would possess when Hamas attacked Israel in the south and Hezbollah tried to breach the borders of Metulla in the north.  The hotel where I was staying is within walking distance from the Fatima Gate and on October 7, 2023, in solidarity with Hamas, a convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on motorcycles attempted to breach the borders of Metulla while I was still there, and had they not been driven back by the Israeli Defense Forces they would have been at my hotel within 2-4 minutes. 

And, Standing in the Gateway of the Enemy, (Genesis 22:17) this too is very much a part of my Tale that I want to tell.  In fact I was born in a Gateway.

Scripture reveals that God determines where we live (Acts 17:26) and not only did I live in a Gateway for the first 17 years of my life, I was born in a Gateway.  I was born in Madison, West Virginia, the Gateway to the Coal Fields, where coal miners like my father and two brothers worked in the “Shadow of Death” (Job 28:1-3).  Sadly, my beloved brother Grover Skeens died in a coal mine explosion on April 5, 2010 that he actually prophesied would happen.  I know all too well what Job meant when he wrote that those who mine underground work in the “Shadow of Death.”  And, it is significant that Isaiah 9 reveals that those living in the Galilee where the “Fatima Gate” is located in Metulla walked about in the “Shadow of Death” (Isaiah 9:1-2). 

Isaiah 9:1-2 ¹ Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. ² The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. KJV

More to the point, if God determined that I was to be born in a Gateway where those working underground work in the “Shadow of Death,” then it is not just happenstance that I stood in the Gateway of the Enemy located in Metulla on the Israeli/Lebanon Border in the Galilee where the Prophet Isaiah tells us they walk about in the Shadow of Death – it is part of my Apostolic Calling.

Just as God set the Apostle Paul apart even before Paul was born, God still sets apart those who He calls to the Apostolic Ministry.

Galatians 1:15 ¹⁵ But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by His marvelous grace. Then it pleased Him NLT

The Apostle Paul knew that from his birth God had set him apart for the apostolic work.  And, so it is today, there is a destiny in every life.  God has His purpose of calling us to the Apostolic Ministry, it is for His kingdom purposes.

The following birth certificate confirms I was born in Madison, West Virginia and the Sign that I am standing by at the entrance to Madison, West Virginia identifies Madison as the Gateway to the Coal Fields.

And, it is not just happenstance that when Hamas attacked Israel I was in Israel for the celebration of the “Feast of Tabernacles” (Hebrew Sukkot) as my maiden name “Skeens” is a reference to the “Feast of Tabernacles.”  The New Testament was written in Greek and according to Strong’s the root word for “dwelt” in John 1:14 is the Greek word Skene, the Scottish spelling of my maiden name “Skeens.”  The Spiritual Meaning of my Maiden name, that too is very much a part of the Tale that I want to tell. 

John 1:14 ¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. KJV

Before I continue with my Tale to be Told I want to comment further on Psalm 90.

Psalm 90:9 reveals that we spend our years here on earth as a tale that is told.  Verse 10 speaks of those who have the strength to live until they are 70 or 80.  And, the following Book is the Personal “Tale” of my 70 plus years here on earth that is a Story I want to Tell to the Glory of God that I love with all my Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength.  Happy are we whose Tales tell of God’s mercy, His faithfulness and His loving kindness.

Psalm 90:10 ¹⁰ The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years, Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away. (NKJV)

Every man and woman has a history.  Every man and woman’s life is as a tale – each a separate tale – a tale to be told.  Which begs the question, “what tale does your life tell – what will be told by others of your life here on earth after you are gone?”

Psalm 90 reveals that our years here on earth are as a “Tale that is Told.”  Our lives are likened to a Story that is not only being told, however, is being written as we are living our lives – and this book is part of the Tale I want to Tell – it is part of the Tale I want to leave for my sons and daughters who I will never meet in my lifetime here on earth – of my Walk with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

We spend our years as a tale that is told – and now to the Glory of God I will Tell my Tale –

In Psalm 90:9 the Psalmist reveals that our lives are “Tales to be Told.”  In a sense we are to be a Story Teller.  And as story tellers our hope is that our tales will be passed down from one person to another, passed from one generation to another generation because storytelling, be it oral or written, when passed down from one generation to another generation can have a bearing on future generations.

And, each individual’s tale or story contributes to the stories of mankind as a whole as well as contributes to the story tellers own sons and daughters. 

The Psalmist compares human life to a tale that is told which suggests that our lives have a narrative that begins in the womb and continues throughout life to the day we die.   Our life experiences, the choices we make, both good and bad, all contribute to the larger story of mankind.  Psalm 90:9 reminds us of our individual roles in the story of mankind that began with Adam and Eve and continues throughout every generation after them.

The Psalmist’s mention of God's wrath should encourage each of us to live our lives unto the Lord.  That our years here on earth should be lived in a way that is pleasing to God.  That we should live in a way that brings God glory and sets an example for our sons and daughters.  We should live our lives as Ambassadors for Christ who was sent to reconcile us to God.  (2 Corinthians 5:20)

According to Psalm 90:9 every man's history has some aspect of God in his life, whether he acknowledges it or not. Some may say that all of their days they only knew of God’s wrath while others may say they only knew of God’s love and mercy.  Others will acknowledge that some of their days they experienced God’s wrath and other days they experienced God’s love.  

Let a Record be Written – let my Tale be Told:  This book is my testimony to the Lord for generations yet to come.  Let a Record be Written – Let my Tale be Told!  Hence, this Book is written for the generations to come – it is my testimony and witness unto the Lord of His faithfulness, His Mercy and His Loving Kindness – written down that my sons and daughters yet to be born will Praise the Lord.  It is my Tale to be Told.

I want to leave a written account for my offspring in future generations to come of the Lord’s Mercy and Loving Kindness He has shown me, as well as the Mercy and Loving Kindness the Lord showed to my Scottish Forebears that lived 350 years ago through all of our trials and tribulations.  My Scottish forebears who were imprisoned because of their walk with the Lord could only praise the Lord even when threatened with death.

My Scottish Forebears “Told their Tale.”  They left a Written Account of their Lives that they Lived unto the Lord for their sons and daughters:  A written account of God’s Mercy and Loving Kindness that He has shown me ought to be written down and preserved just as the many books that were written by and about my Scottish Forebears that were written 350 years ago were preserved.  

Throughout time man has always kept a written record of the wars and calamities that affected their nations.  Even now man is keeping a daily record of the war going on in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas and the barrage of rockets and artillery that Hezbollah is sending over the Borders in the north of Israel, including Metulla, the northernmost village in Israel that butts up to the Border Israel shares with Lebanon and where I was when Hamas attacked Israel in the south on October 7, 2023.

I said that to say this – how much more should we be a Witness unto the Lord and write about the Lord's Mercy and Loving Kindness that He has shown us and our Forebears who endured many trials and tribulations and been persecuted because we obey God’s Commandments.  Jesus said, if you love Me, really love Me, you will keep and obey My Commandments.

John 14:15 ¹⁵ “If you [really] love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments.  Amplified Bible

We should encourage our offspring to stand up for the truth according to God’s Word even in the face of persecution.  Because just as the Lord delivered us from our trials and tribulations, He will be faithful and deliver them as well!

Let us be a Witness unto the Lord!

Acts 1:8 ⁸ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” NLT

We should Tell our Tale:  Our Testimony and Witness unto the Lord should not go to the grave with us.  Our Testimony and Witness unto the Lord should not go to the grave with us – it should not be forgotten.  Jesus told His disciples that they were to be a Witness unto Him.  As His witnesses, we are bound to tell others of His Faithfulness, His Mercy and His Loving Kindness.  We are to leave a written account for our offspring yet to be born that they too may Praise the LORD

Just as the Memory of my Scottish Forebears who died over 350 years ago, who were persecuted and imprisoned to the point of death because they led blameless lives, did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and who spoke the truths of God’s Word from sincere hearts, are a Blessing and are precious to me, may their memory be a Blessing and as precious to my sons and daughters that have yet to be born.  And, may my Witness unto the Lord of His faithfulness and Mercy He has shown me be as precious and a Blessing to my spiritual offspring yet to be born – that those yet to be created shall praise the Lord.

The Writings my Scottish Forebears are the “Tale they Told” – left for their Offspring – for a generations yet to be born is a Blessing:  From my own personal experience I understand the reality of Psalm 102:18 that teaches the importance to always keep future generations in mind:  Alexander Skene, my Scottish ancestor who lived 350 years ago, kept his posterity in mind when writing from the Toll Booth in Aberdeen, Scotland where he was imprisoned to the point of death because he would not compromise his walk with the Lord.

Alexander Skene knew that just as he, his wife and his son John who came to America and whose line I came through that their offspring who would surely go through trials and tribulations of their own would know that the Lord God of their Forefathers is full of compassion, mercy and loving kindness and will surely Bless us as He Blessed them.

Hence, this is “Why” I am Telling my Tale – it is why I am writing this Book, my Notes to my sons and daughters that I will never meet – that they may Praise the Lord!  

Psalm 90:16-17 is an echo of Psalm 102:18

Psalm 90:16-17 

¹⁶ Let Your work be shown to Your servants,

and Your glorious power to their children. 

¹⁷ Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,

and establish the work of our hands upon us;

yes, establish the work of our hands! (ESV)

Lord, let the Work of my hands be Established

And, just as You called me to carry on the Work You began with my Scottish Forebears 

let my Sons and Daughters “Carry on” the Work You called me to

Lord let my Sons and Daughters Continue my Work

My Prayer is that just as the Lord Established the work of my hands as well as the hands of my Scottish Forebears that the Lord will Establish the Work of the hands of my Sons and Daughters.

My Prayer unto the Lord is that when I die my last words are of Praise unto Him – and that my life will not end with the sigh of those who Mourn their own death (Psalm 90:9). 

(Note: According to Strong’s, “spiritually speaking” one of the meanings of the word “Tale” is a sigh and the sound of “Mourning” – it is the sound of someone mourning their own death.  In the context of Psalm 90:9 “tale” is referring to a “death rattle” a sound produced by a person near death.  Clinically speaking, the death rattle occurs when fluids accumulate in the throat and upper chest and is made because the individual dying no longer has the ability to swallow.  The “death-rattle” occurs when an individual is in the final stage of his life – they rattle then die.  Needless to say, the emphasis should be placed on the spiritual aspects of the death rattle.  Clinically speaking, the death rattle that we hear is simply a manifestation of the spiritual that is going on in the person’s life who is dying.  I have personally been with someone that I loved who, as he was dying, one could hear the death rattle.  It was  a haunting sound you never forget – even those who tend to those dying on an everyday basis are known to be haunted by the sound of the death rattle.  The individual I am speaking of had a root of bitterness that Scripture tells us defiles many – and many people throughout his lifetime suffered tremendously.  I know that as he lay dying that this individual mourned because of all the years he wasted rebelling against the Lord.  I was with him as he took his last breath and the death rattle ceased.  The manner in which he died was heartbreaking.  However, I know that he confessed his sins and repented in the hospital before he died.)

My prayer is that the Lord will permit me to finish the work He began in me.  And, I know that He will because Philippians 1:6 reveals that we can be confident of this very thing, that God who began the good work within us, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Lord, I pray that You will not let my life end with the Sigh of those who the Psalmist tells us of – those who mourn their own death.  Let my Walk with You be Established and let my Sons and Daughters “Carry on” the Work You started in me just as You called me to carry on the Work You began with my Scottish Forebears – Lord, permit me to finish the work I have started and let my children carry on to completion my work. Psalm 90:16-17

Psalm 90:16-17 ¹⁶ Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children. ¹⁷ And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.  KJV

The Second Commandment tells us that God will show His Mercy and Loving Kindness to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.  And, I am a witness to the truths of that promise.  Because of my Scottish Forebears who loved the Lord with all their heart, with all their Soul, with all their Mind and with all their Strength – as one of a thousand of their offspring – the Lord has Blessed me with His Mercy and Loving Kindness over and over again in my walk with the Lord.  I am only alive to write this book because of the Lord’s Mercy and Loving Kindness – just as the Lord delivered my Scottish Forebears from death – the Lord has delivered me out of the hands of those who have threatened my life and tried to kill me on more than one occasion. 

We should encourage our offspring to stand up for the truth according to God’s Word even in the face of persecution.  Because just as the Lord delivered us from our trials and tribulations, He will be faithful and deliver them as well!

So begins my personal Tale that I have carefully documented with pictures, published news articles, emails, Scriptures and other materials that all corroborate and establish the truthfulness of my spiritual journey with the Lord.

On the day, and several days leading up to October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel, I was in Metulla, Israel standing in the Fatima Gate, once the official Israel-Lebanon Border Crossing.  The Fatima Gate is a Gateway of my Spiritual Enemy, Satan, that old ancient serpent

There was War in the Heavens – Revelation 12:  Michael, Israel’s Guardian Angel and his angels rejoice when the angels who fell with our spiritual enemy – that old ancient serpent – are cast down to the earth by Michael and his angels  But, but woe to those on earth because when cast to the earth, knowing their time is short, the principalities operating behind those here on earth when cast down to earth bring their wrath – hence, the wars we see here on earth, including Hamas’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

The Tale I want to Tell actually began with my birth in Madison, West Virginia, the Gateway to the Coal Fields of West Virginia:

My Life as a Coal Miner’s Daughter has been a Journey of Faith and throughout that Journey, with all its challenges and trials, I have kept the Faith, Overcame the Obstacles and I am determined to have the patience and endurance to continue to Run the Race ahead of me on the Highway of Holiness that God set out for me by keeping my eyes on Jesus who leads us on our Spiritual Journey and makes our Faith Complete.  Hebrews 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:7

This Book is my Witness unto the Lord Jesus Christ Written and Recorded for my sons and daughters – for the Generation yet to be Born that they may Praise the LORD!

Psalm 102:18 ¹⁸ This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the LORD. NKJV 

In Acts 1:8 Christ told His Disciples that they were to be His Witnesses telling People about Him everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.

And, I have been a Witness unto the Lord telling people about Christ in my Pilgrimages to Jerusalem, throughout Judea and in Samaria and everywhere that I have travelled to!

From the Gateway of the Coal Fields of West Virginia where I was born and where my Journey of Faith began – my  Journey of Faith has taken me to the Western Wall and Gates of Jerusalem’s Old City, to the Temple Mount, to Judea and Samaria (West Bank), to the Gates of Hell in Caesarea Philippi, Israel, where Christ confronted Satan, to Pergamos, Turkey where one of the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation and Satan’s Throne Room are located, to Mount Nebo, Jordan, the Gateway into the Promised Land, to Petra (Jordan), to Bozrah/ Busaireh (Jordan), where God will gather His remnant in the end days. 

And, it certainly was not just happenstance that I travelled all the way from America to stand in the “Fatima Gate,” a gateway of the enemy that is located on the Border Israel shares with Lebanon, on the day before and the day Hamas attacked Israel and a Convoy of Hezbollah Terrorist on motorcycles, in solidarity with Hamas, attempted to breach Metulla’s borders, Israel’s northernmost town, where the “Fatima Gate” is located while I was still staying there. 

It was not happenstance – it was according to God’s Will that I stood in Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate,” a Gateway of the Enemy that God told Abraham his seed would possess, on the day before and on the day Hamas attacked Israel and a convoy of Hezbollah Terrorist on motorcycles attempted to cross over Metulla’s borders while I was in Metulla.  And, I have travelled to many other Biblical places.  And the Lord has been with me, leading and guiding me throughout my Journey of Faith.

Throughout this book I have included pictures of my journey throughout the Promised Land of all of the above mentioned Spiritual Gates that I have stood in that God told Abraham his seed would possess and stand in – Genesis 22:17.  And, later in the book, with each of the Gates I have stood in, I provide the Scriptures that apply as well as an in-depth account of the historical events that have an impact of each of the geographic locations I have been to.

The first two pictures below are of me standing in front of the Sign that reads, “Welcome to Madison – Gateway to the Coal Fields” – the next picture is of my birth certificate to confirm that I was born in Madison, WV.  That I was born in the “Gateway” of the Coal Fields where those who work in Mines work in the “Shadow of Death” (Job 28:3) is significant as the Apostle Paul tells us that he was called even before he was born.  In other words, being born in a Gateway was a foreshadowing of my Apostolic calling and that I would stand in the “Gateways of the Enemy,” specifically the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate,” both located in the Galilee where the prophet Isaiah tells us that those living in the Galilee by the Way of the Sea were dwelling in the land of the “Shadow of Death” (Isaiah 9:2).

I’m standing in front of the Western Wall at the Old City of Jerusalem.  Directly above the Western Wall is “Mount Moriah” where King Solomon built his Temple for the Lord (2 Chronicles 3:1) and where the third temple (Ezekiel 40) is to be built.  Mount Moriah is the Biblical name for The Temple Mount that is presently occupied by followers of Islam who consider this Islam’s third holiest site. 

I’m standing in front of the “Dome of the Rock” on the Temple Mount that sits above the Western Wall. 

It’s important to note that after crossing through the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla – Hezbollah’s goal was to invade and conquer the entire Galilee and then advance to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. 

Temple Mount and Mount Moriah are the same place, just different names.  According to the teachings of Islam – it was here that Muhammad, the founder of Islam, ascended into heaven.  This was an important goal for Nasrallah, the Leader of Hezbollah, because he believed he was a direct descendant of Muhammad through the line of Fatima.

Nasrallah’s “Holy War”:  For Nasrallah, a Religious Leader of Islam as well as the Leader of Hezbollah, the “Fatima Gate” was not just a Border Crossing – it was a Spiritual Gate and a Spiritual Border Crossing that he must cross through on his way to capture The Temple Mount – Islam’s third holiest site.  More “holy wars” have been fought by those opposed to Judaism over Jerusalem than any other place in the world.  Just “Vain Imaginations!” 

The following pictures are of me in Metulla on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel and a convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on motorcycles attempted to breach Metulla’s borders while I was still there.  The pictures include me standing in the “Fatima Gate,” given the nickname “The Good Fence” by the Israeli Defense Forces who opened the border crossing to allow the South Lebanese Army, a Christian Militia, and their families who came to the defense of the IDF in their battles with the PLO – then Hezbollah – to cross through the “Fatima Gate” into Israel to seek the medical help and jobs that the PLO and Hezbollah denied them because they were Christians.  The Israeli Defense Forces that now possessed the “Fatima Gate” used the “Gate of the Enemy” for good.  (Romans 8:28)

So, to begin with, it’s important to confirm that the “Fatima Gate” was also known as the “Good Fence Crossing.”

The following image is an image of the geographical location of Kfar Kila in relationship to Metulla and the Fatima Gate.  I have also included pictures of me standing in front of the “Fatima Gate.” 

Again, images help many readers to understand the topic being written about when that topic can tend to be complex.

The following picture from You Tube posted by Daniel Rosehill confirms that in this picture I’m standing in front of the “Fatima Gate” once the official Border Crossing between Israel and Lebanon.  I’m standing on the Israeli side of the former border crossing and on the other side behind me you can actually see houses in Lebanon 

“Good Fence” was the name the Israelis gave the “Fatima Gate” because it was through this gate the IDF allowed the South Lebanese Army, a Christian Militia, and their families who came to the aid of the IDF in their conflicts with the PLO – then Hezbollah – to cross through into Israel to seek medical attention and find jobs that the PLO and Hezbollah denied them because they were Christians.  The Spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s Faithful Ally. 

The following picture of the “Fatima Gate”/”Good Fence” shows just how close the Lebanese Village of Kfar Kila is to Metulla.  It is with walking distance.  The “Good Fence Memorial” that was built in memory of the soldiers who served in the South Lebanese Army and died because they came to the defense of the Israeli Defense Army during the Lebanese-Israeli Conflicts is within walking distance of the Border Crossing.

The following two screenshots are from a preview pane in Windows File Explorer and documents that I made a video on October 7, 2023, the day Hamas attacked Israel, at the “Good Fence Memorial.”  In the picture displayed on the Preview Panes in Windows File Explorer you can see Lebanon behind where I am standing.  You could actually hear gun shots coming from across the border while I was making the video that I have posted online on my Facebook page.

The “Good Fence,” as shown above, is what the Good Fence looks like today.  Today’s Good Fence looks different than the one the IDF locked when they withdrew through the Good Fence back onto Israeli soil in May 2000.  However, the geographical location is the same and that’s what is important spiritually.  

I’m including the following picture taken from Daniel Rosehill’s video on Borders to confirm that where I was seated in the screen shot of me making a video on October 7, 2023 was at the “Good Fence” Memorial on the Israeli-Lebanon Border Crossing in Metulla.

Ghajar, Israel is another Border Town in the Galilee where I not only stood in the Gateway of Ghajar, but actually crossed over the border into Lebanon.

Before leaving the pictures of the Galilee I want to include the following picture taken from a video posted online of a Convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on motorcycles attempting to breach the borders of Metulla.

Again, in October 2023 my Spiritual Journey took me to the borders of Metulla, Israel, once a Gateway Community for the Israeli Defense Forces entering South Lebanon during the 1982-2000 Israel-Lebanon Conflict between Israel and their enemies, the PLO and Hezbollah.  It is here in Metulla that Israel shares a border with Lebanon, in essence one could say where Israel shares a border with Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization whose stronghold is in southern Lebanon along Israel’s border and who is determined to wipe Israel off the face of the earth – all Vain Imaginations.  And, it was God’s Kingdom Purpose for me to be in Metulla on the Border Israel shares with Lebanon and Hezbollah, when Hamas, an ally of Hezbollah, attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the stunned nation of Israel that Israel was at war.

It was on the Highway of Holiness, that Narrow Road that Jesus tells us leads to Eternal life that I travelled on in October 2023 that took me up to the Border Israel shares with Lebanon to the Front Line of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate, known by the Israelis as the “Good Fence Border Crossing.”  After putting on the Whole Armor of God I went up to the “Fatima Gate” (the Spiritual Gateway of Israel’s Enemy that God told Abraham his seed would possess).  And, as a Spiritual Seed of Abraham, I put on the Full Armor of God and in the Name of Jesus I took authority over and bound the Evil Spirit Prince and Kings of Ancient Persia and those under their influence that Operate through Hezbollah to Vex and Torment the Israeli’s living along the Northern Border Lebanon shares with Israel.  In the Name of Jesus I bound the prince and kings of Persia (Daniel 10) from crossing over Metulla’s Border and putting boots on the ground and wreaking havoc in Metulla and taking hostages, which was their plan while I was in Metulla (Matthew 7:13-14).   And, to this day, even though Hezbollah has destroyed the Village of Metulla with their rockets, they never put boots on the ground nor took hostages, which was what they had been preparing for – for many years.  The Village of Metulla can be rebuilt, but the trauma of being held as a hostage of Hezbollah is a whole other matter.  

In October 2023 after arriving in Metulla, Israel and putting on the Full Armor of God, I went up to the Fatima Gate and taking my stand against the Spiritual Forces of wickedness in the heavenly supernatural sphere operating behind Hezbollah, in the Name of Jesus I bound the spirit prince and kings of Persia operating through Hezbollah from crossing over Metulla’s borders and putting boots on the ground in Metulla.  And, it was only a matter of a day or so after binding the spirits that a convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on motorcycles tried to breach Metulla’s borders just minutes away from where I was staying.  However, being bound in the spiritual realm, they were unable to operate through Hezbollah who were driven back away from Metulla’s borders by the Israeli Defense Forces.

On October 7, 2023, the day Hamas attacked Israel in the south, a convoy of Hezbollah terrorists on motorcycles, in solidarity with Hamas, attempted to breach Metulla’s border only minutes away from the hotel where I was staying in Metulla.  Thankfully, the Israeli Defense Forces were able to drive the Hezbollah terrorists away from the border.  And, even though I could hear the sound of Hezbollah’s rockets throughout the night into the next morning I kept the faith and stayed focused on the Race God set out for me, and by keeping my eyes on Jesus, I did not leave Metulla until God sent the Hotel Manager to our rooms at 10:00 PM to tell us we had to leave Metulla and move to the Sea of Galilee where we would be safer from the attacks of Hezbollah and where Christ spent 30 years of His life here on earth.  Interestingly, the Hotel Manager and his entire staff had left the hotel and Metulla on the morning of October 7, 2023.  By the time the Hotel Manager came back to tell us we had to leave the next morning we were the only guests left – everyone else had already left Metulla.

Again, it was not just happenstance that I travelled all the way from America to Metulla, Israel when war broke out in Israel.  I was there because it was according to God’s will for a Kingdom Purpose.

I’m including the two images on this page that was taken from an interview posted online by CBN News Dateline that was conducted inside Metulla’s War Room where they monitor incoming fire coming from the hillside of Lebanon. Apparently, it was those who man Metulla’s War Room who gave the picture of the convoy of Hezbollah Terrorist on Motorcycles to the Jerusalem Post and who then posted the video on X.

At the bottom of the video posted by X, the date Hezbollah attempted to breach Metulla’s border (October 7, 2023) coincides with the date stamp on the picture of me standing in front of the sign that points to Metulla that confirms I was in Metulla when Hezbollah attempted to invade Metulla.

I was in the Galilee for the first eleven days of the war between Israel and Hamas and those eleven days will always be a “Blessed Memory” because Christ Jesus, who leads us on our Journey and makes our faith complete, “met me in the Galilee.”  Even though I was in a war zone, I had the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding. 

Jesus told His Disciples that we are to be His Witnesses telling people about Him everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  Acts 1:8

And, throughout my journeys, from the Gateway of the Coal Fields of West Virginia where I was born to the Gates of Hell in Caesarea Philippi, Israel, where Christ confronted Satan, to the Gates of Jerusalem’s Old City, and to Mount Nebo, Jordan, the Gateway into the Promised Land, Mount Zion and Judea and Samaria, I have been a Witness unto Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords and the King of Kings.  And, throughout each leg of my spiritual journey where I have been a Witness unto Jesus, I kept the Faith, Overcame the many Obstacles and stayed focused on the Race God set out for me by keeping my eyes on Jesus.  Hebrews 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:7

Following are pictures from other geographical locations that God has taken me to on my spiritual journey.

The geographical location of Metulla is of the utmost importance as it is in close proximity to the Biblical cities of Dan and A'bel-beth-ma'achah (2 Samuel 20:15; 1 Kings 15:20; 2 Kings 15:29) forming a triangle in an area known as the Galilee Panhandle. Like Metulla, A'bel-beth-ma'achah is located on the Israeli-Lebanese Border and is only 1½ miles from Metulla and approximately 6 miles from Tel Dan. 

In the context of this book, it’s not just happenstance that the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” are both located in the Galilee.

Luke 6:17 ¹⁷ And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; KJV

Matthew 4:23-25 ²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. ²⁴ And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and He healed them. ²⁵ And there followed Him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. KJV

Beyond Jordan includes both “Tyre and Sidon” located in present day Lebanon.

And, until October 27, 2024 when the Israeli Defense Forces conquered Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization and drove them north of the Litani River where they are no longer a threat to the Galilee – Hezbollah 

considered the “Fatima Gate” as the Frontline” of their attack on the entire Galilee.

The last picture in this section is the “Pension Athena” where I stayed in Pergamos, Turkey (Revelation 2:12-17) where the Prophet John tells us that Satan has his Throne Room. 

The ruins where I am standing are those of the Asclepieion, the pagan temple where Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing, was worshipped in the form of a serpent.  The rod of Asclepius, a snake entwined staff, remains a symbol of medicine today.  It seems that Satan’s Throne Room was nothing more than an ancient hospital where Satan was worshipped because they believe he healed people.  And, it’s important to note that Revelation 21:8 tells us that “sorcerers” will be cast into the lake of fire because according to Strong’s the Greek word for “sorcerer” is “from pharmakon (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion); a druggist (“pharmacist”) or poisoner, i.e. (by extension) a magician :- sorcerer.

Revelation 21:8 ⁸ But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. KJV

The Asclepieion, was an ancient hospital where they believed that people were healed only if they worshipped the live serpents that were allowed to roam freely.  No, doubt this is the earthly manifestation of Satan’s Throne Room that the Apostle John wrote about in Revelation 2:12-17. 

Scripture reveals that the Lord will use those things in the natural that we can relate to – to convey a spiritual truth.  And, my writings are directly related to my own spiritual experiences in Israel’s Galilee as well as to the historical events that have taken place in the Galilee and the Middle East during my own personal lifetime, as well as when Christ lived and ministered in the Galilee for 30 years of His 33 years of life here on earth. 

And, that brings me to Isaiah 9:1-2, because

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective is Key to understanding the Spiritual Aspects of the Borders and Gateways that are located in the Galilee, which is the main focus of this book: specifically, the “Fatima Gate,” at one time the official Israel-Lebanon border crossing and the “Gates of Hell.” 

Seven hundred years before Christ was born the Prophet Isaiah Prophesied that the identity and mission of the Messiah were linked with the geographical area of Galilee – specifically the “Borderlands” of the Galilee of the Gentiles in Upper Galilee – the tribal land of Zebulun and the tribal land of Naphtali that God had held in contempt. 

Isaiah 9:1-2 ¹ But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish [for with judgment comes the promise of salvation]. In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make them honored [by the presence of the Messiah], by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

²The people who walk in [spiritual] darkness

Will see a great Light;

Those who live in the dark land,

The Light will shine on them.  Amplified Bible

And, that brings me to the Apostle Matthew who reveals that the 30 years that Christ lived and ministered in the Galilee, specifically in the land that was allotted to the Tribe of Zebulun and the Tribe of Naphtali where both the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” are located, is a fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy concerning Christ coming to pass.  Matthew 4:12-17; Isaiah 9:1-2

Matthew 4:12-17 ¹² Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, He departed into Galilee;      ¹³ And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: ¹⁴ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,         ¹⁵ The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; ¹⁶ The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. ¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. KJV

The Prophet Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah’s ministry here on earth would be tied to the regions of the Galilee where both the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” are located on the travel route known as “by the Way of the Sea” that the Prophet Isaiah spoke of in Isaiah 9. 

And, that brings me back to Isaiah 9:1-2 and Matthew 4:12-17.

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective is Key to Understanding

The Spiritual Aspects of the “Gates of the Enemy” specifically the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate”

That are both located in the Geographical Regions of the Galilee in Isaiah’s Prophecy (Isaiah 9:1-2)

And both are located on the Highway that the Prophet Isaiah referred to as “By the Way of the Sea”

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective is also Key to Understanding the Spiritual Aspects of the “Borders” located in Israel’s Galilee because the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” are both “Border Gates”:

·        the “Gates of Hell” are located in the “Golan Heights” on the Border Israel shares with Syria

·        and the “Fatima Gate” is located on the Israeli side of the Border Israel shares with Lebanon

The Prophet Isaiah also spoke of a Highway that was called “By the “Way of the Sea”:  And, this is significant because the route travelers would take from Caesarea Philippi (modern day Banias) to Tyre and Sidon, Lebanon was “by the Way of the Sea.”  In other words, The “Gates of Hell, Tyre and Sidon as well as Metulla, were all located on the ancient highway “by the Way of the Sea” that the Prophet Isaiah spoke of.

Isaiah 9:1-2 ¹ But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish [for with judgment comes the promise of salvation]. In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make them honored [by the presence of the Messiah], by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

And, this is significant because the road the travelers would have taken from Caesarea Philippi or present-day Metulla where the “Fatima Gate” is located 20 miles from Tyre and 12 miles from Sidon (Lebanon), which is only 12-20 miles from Metulla it would have been “by the Way of the Sea” the ancient Highway the Prophet Isaiah spoke of (Isaiah 9:1-2). 

And, this is significant because when Christ left the regions of the Galilee and crossed over the border into Tyre and Sidon He would have travelled “by the Way of the Sea,” the ancient Highway the Prophet Isaiah spoke of (Isaiah 9:1-2)

Referring to Isaiah 9:1, Matthew describes Jesus’ use of the “Way of the Sea” as a fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy.

Matthew 15:21 ²¹ Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon. NLT

Mark 7:24 ²⁴ And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid. KJV

Jesus would have travelled by the “Way of the Sea” when He left the Galilee and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon as well as when Jesus travelled to the region of Caesarea Philippi.  There is no other Way of the Sea (also known as Via Maris) in the Holy Land.

In other words, given that Metulla is only 12 miles from Sidon and 20 miles from Tyre, I believe that when Jesus crossed over Israel’s border into the regions of Tyre and Sidon He would have crossed over the Border in Metulla – more than likely Christ would have crossed over the border in the same geographical area where the “Fatima Gate” is located. 

The route in Isaiah’s Prophecy that Jesus would have travelled on is “by the Way of the Sea” and this particular “by the Way of the Sea” makes the connection between the “Gates of Hell” and Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” approximately 20 miles from Tyre, and 12 miles from Sidon (Lebanon).  This is the road that Christ would have travelled on His way to both the Gates of Hell in ancient Caesarea Philippi now known as Banias and when He left the borders of the Galilee and crossed over into Tyre in present day Lebanon. Matthew 15:21; Mark 7:24

Isaiah’s Prophecy about Jesus the Galilean is key to understanding the present-day events in the Galilee.  The geographical location  where the events in this book that occurred at the “Fatima Gate” also known as the “Good Fence” in Metulla, Israel’s northernmost town, is in accordance with Isaiah’s Prophecy that Christ’s life and ministry would be tied to the Galilee where He spent His life and where His public ministry began at the age of thirty.  For  those reasons we need to keep in mind the many Scriptures in the New Testament that echo Isaiah’s prophecy which tells us that Christ was a Galilean and keep Isaiah’s Prophecy in mind when reading this book as Isaiah’s Prophecy is still relevant not only to the present-day events in the Galilee, but the Church, worldwide as well.

Geography plays an important role in the life of Christ as it fulfills Geographical Prophecies:  Matthew 2:13-15; Matthew 2:1-6; Matthew 2:23 and Matthew 4:12-17 are four examples of Prophecies that specifically linked Christ to a specific geographical area that were fulfilled in His lifetime. 

Jesus' Galilean Ministry was a Fulfillment of of Isaiah’s Prophecy in Isaiah 9:1-2:  The Apostle Matthew reveals that Christ’s move from Nazareth to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali was in fulfillment of Isaiah’s Messianic prophecy – Matthew 4:12-16.

Matthew 4:12-16 ¹² When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he left Judea and returned to Galilee. ¹³ He went first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. ¹⁴ This fulfilled what God said through the prophet Isaiah:

¹⁵ “In the land of Zebulun and of Naphtali, beside the sea,

beyond the Jordan River, in Galilee where so many Gentiles live,

¹⁶ the people who sat in darkness

have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow,

a light has shined.”  NLT  

Mark 4 and Matthew 4:12-16 was a fulfillment of Isaiah’s Prophecy in Isaiah 9, which is a key Scripture of the Tale I have to tell.

I have been to the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali that the Prophet Isaiah spoke of in Isaiah 9. 

In the first picture I am standing on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.  In the second and third pictures I am standing in front of Mount Arbel the mountain by the Sea of Galilee in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.  Mount Arbel itself is located in the region allocated to the Biblical Tribe of Naphtali.  The significance of Mount Arbel is this is the mountain that is believed to be the Mountain from where Jesus gave the Great Commission to go throughout the world and make disciples of all nations as well as the very mountain that Jesus told His disciples to meet Him after His resurrection.

Behold, I have told you. ⁸ And going out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to bring His disciples word. ⁹ And as they went to bring his disciples word, behold also, Jesus met them, saying, Hail! And they coming up took Him by the feet, and did Him homage. ¹⁰ Then Jesus says to them, Fear not; go, bring word to My brethren that they go into Galilee, and there they shall see Me. Darby Bible

On a more Personal Level – when Hamas attacked Israel the Lord sent the Manger of Selina Metulla to tell us to go to the Selina Kinneret located by the Sea of Galilee next to Mount Arbel:  When planning my trip to Metulla, Israel in 2023, the Lord quickened me to Matthew 28 and gave me the understanding that He would send someone to tell me to go to the mountain in the Galilee where He would meet me.  I didn’t fully understand what this meant until after I arrived in Metulla and Hamas attacked Israel – however, I knew I was not going to leave Metulla until someone came and told us to leave – and that is what happened.  On the night after Hamas attacked Israel the Manager of Selina Metulla came to our rooms and told us we needed to leave the next morning (October 8) and go their sister hotel, “Selina Kinneret,” down by the Sea of Galilee, which was about an hour’s drive from Metulla and the border Israel shared with Lebanon.  As a note, the gentleman I was travelling with, he and I were the only two guests left at Selina Metulla.  Not only had all the guests left, however, all the hotel staff had left.  The hotel manager only came back to tell us we needed to leave after the manger of Selina Kinneret called and told him to go and tell us we had to leave and to come to the Selina Kinneret.

My room down by the Sea of Galilee was about a minute walk to the Sea of Galilee and I could see Mount Arbel from my room and that is where I stayed for 10 more days until I took a flight back to America.   

Again, I have been to the Sea of Galilee, by the Sea of Galilee in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali that the Prophet Isaiah spoke of in Isaiah 9.

In the first picture I am standing on the shores of the Sea of Galilee approximately 60 seconds from my hotel room.  In the second and third pictures I am standing in front of Mount Arbel the mountain by the Sea of Galilee in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali that I could literally see from the courtyard of the hotel where I was staying.  Mount Arbel itself is located in the region allocated to the Biblical Tribe of Naphtali.  The significance of Mount Arbel is this is the mountain that is believed to be the Mountain from where Jesus gave the Great Commission to go throughout the world and make disciples of all nations, as well as the very mountain that Jesus told His disciples to meet Him after His resurrection. 

Without a doubt, geography is fundamental to our understanding of the Bible and how geography relates to the events here on earth.  Without a doubt the geographical area where I was born and raised for the first 17 years of my life was spiritually significant and has had and continues to have a bearing on my life as it was a foreshadowing of my Apostolic Calling and standing in the Gates of the Enemy in many different geographical areas – not just Israel.

The Geographical area where I was born and lived the first 17 years of my life has played an Important Role in my life and like the Gateways to the Coal Fields where I was born – my Maiden Name “Skeens” is Prophetic and another sign of my Apostolic calling

My Maiden Name “Skeens” is Prophetic and that too is a Sign of my Apostolic Calling.  The New Testament was originally written in Greek and according to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Tabernacles” is “Skene,” the original spelling of my maiden name “Skeens.”

And, this is significant because I was in Israel to celebrate “The Feast of Tabernacles” and it was on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles that Hamas attacked Israel. 

Hamas Attacked Israel on the last day of the “Feast of Tabernacles”

Hamas attacked Israel in the early morning hours on October 7, 2023 on what was to be a festive time in Israel: Simchat Torah.  Simchat Torah, which marks the beginning of a new annual cycle of the reading of the Torah, comes at the end of the seven days of Sukkot, which is also known as the Feast of Tabernacles.  Simchat Torah is celebrated on the 8th day as described in Leviticus 23:33-36.

Leviticus 23: 33-36  ³³And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, ³⁴Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. ³⁵On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. ³⁶Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. KJV

More to the Point:  It was not Happenstance, it was God’s Will that I was in Israel during the Feast of Tabernacles when Hamas Attacked Israel on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles as my Maiden name Skeens Refers to the Feast of Tabernacles

In the following text I want to make the connection between when Hamas attacked Israel on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles and my Maiden Name “Skeens” as the original spelling “Skene” is a reference to the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Surname Skene is Prophetic and a Sign of my Apostolic Calling

In the New Testament the Greek Word for Tabernacle is the Surname "Skene"

My Maiden Name "Skeens" is a variation of our Scottish Surname Skene from which all Skeens trace our ancestry and what a joy to know that the New Testament, which was originally written in Greek, used the analogy of a “skene,” the Greek word for a tent or tabernacle, to describe the “true tabernacle” which the Lord pitched (Hebrews 8:2).  In addition to the author of Hebrews, Luke also used the Greek word skene for the tabernacle with its tent, a type of the true tabernacle that the Israelites carried with them through the wilderness.  Acts 7:44 

What a joy to know that "Skene - Skeens" refers to the habitation, tent or tabernacle of God - because in the Bible, names were often indicative of a person’s character or nature. 

For example, Jacob, whose name means supplanter, was rightly named because by nature Jacob was indeed a supplanter.

Genesis 27:36 ³⁶ And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?  KJV 

There are many other Scriptures that speak of the relationship between an individual and his or her name.

And, so it was with my Scottish Forebears whose surname "Skene" means "Tent of Witness" as well as "Tent of God.”  The spiritual aspect of my Forebears last name is a true reflection of their love for the Lord and the Lord’s love for them.

Anyone who studies the original languages of both the Old and New Testament are probably familiar with "Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.”  Strong's Concordance is easy to understand and is considered to be the most comprehensive and informative concordance available for studying the original languages of the Bible.  Each "Strong's Number" makes the connection between the English word used in the King James Bible with information about the meaning and context of the original word used in both the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. 

And, it is for that reason for the purposes of this Book that I have incorporated what is referred to as "Strong's Numbers" into the text of the Scriptures I reference in this particular chapter when "Skene," not Tabernacle, Tent or Dwelt was the word used by the authors of the New Testament when they wrote the Books of the New Testament.

For example, according to Strong's G4633 the Greek word for tabernacle in Hebrews 8:2 and Acts 7:44 is Skene.  Therefore I put [G4633] next to the word tabernacle in Hebrews 8:2 and Acts 7:44 to indicate that Skene was the original word used by the New Testament writers.  In other words, whenever you see [G4633] next to the English word Tabernacle, Tent or Dwelt, if you read the same Scripture in its original text you would read the same Scripture using the Greek word "Skene" - not the English words Tabernacle, Tent or Dwelt. 

Hebrews 8:2 ¹ Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; ² A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, [G4633] which the Lord pitched, and not man. KJV

Acts 7:44 ⁴⁴ Our fathers had the tabernacle [G4633] of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. KJV

Again, according to Greek Strong's Number 4633 the Transliteration for the word Tabernacle is the Greek word Skene - my maiden name.  Furthermore, skene is also the Greek word for "dwelt" in John 1:14. 

This word skene (tent) is the very word used in the New Testament to refer to the tabernacle of God used by Israel in their early worship of God. 

The writer of the book of Hebrews calls it “the true tent [skene] that the Lord set up” (Hebrews 8:2). 

John 1:14 ¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  KJV 

The Greek word for "dwelt" in John 1:14 is [G4636 "skenoo"] to tent or encamp - to reside as God did in the Tabernacle of old.  And, G4636 is from G4633 skene meaning "Tabernacle"

In Hebrew, “sukkah” and “miskan” are respectively used to translate “booth” and “tabernacle,” both meaning temporary dwellings. It is interesting to note that these two words are both translated to Greek in the Septuagint with a derivative from the root “skene.” “Skene” is the Greek word used for a tabernacle in the Apostolic writings.

The primary meaning of the Greek word "Skene" was used by the Greeks when referring to a tent, a dwelling place or a Tabernacle - as God did in the Tabernacle of old.  So, when the Hebrew scriptures were translated into Greek, it makes sense that the translators chose to use skene, the word so often used for drama, as the word for God’s tent.

Because the word "Dwelt" also means "Tent" or "Tabernacle" some translations use the word "Tabernacle" instead of the word "Dwelt" that the KJV uses.  For example, the Amplified Bible:

John 1:14 ¹⁴ And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from His father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.  [Isaiah 40:5]  Amplified Bible

In the Greek New Testament therefore, the word translated “tabernacle” is skene — “the tent.”  (Acts 7:44; Hebrews 8:2, 5). Hence, when the glory of God descended to the earth to take up residence in the midst of Israel as described in Exodus 40:34-38, it could be said that God “pitched His tent” among men. 

Generational Blessings:  The close connection between my maiden name and Tabernacles is both Generational and Prophetic.  And, as such when the Lord has opened the door for me to go to Jerusalem during the Feast of Tabernacles there is a Kingdom purpose – the same Kingdom purpose that the Lord called some of my spirit-led forefathers to walk in. 

There is no doubt that there was a Kingdom Purpose for my presence in Metulla, Israel on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles when Hamas attacked Israel and Israel’s Prime Minister declared to the citizens of the State of Israel that Israel was at war.

And, that brings me to Nasrallah and his Forebears who trace their lineage all the way back to Abraham’s son Ishmael whom Abraham sent away because he mocked Isaac – like Nasrallah they too hated Israel.

Just as my Forebears’ love for the Lord had a bearing on my life –

Who mocked Isaac the Promised son, had a bearing on Nasrallah’s life.

Just as my Forebears’ love for the Lord had a bearing on my life – Nasrallah’s Forebears, who hated the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, had a bearing on Nasrallah’s life.

Just as Ishmael persecuted Isaac, Ishmael’s descendants continue to persecute the offspring of Isaac which includes Christians as well as the Jewish people and will continue to persecute both Israel and Christians until Christ returns.  Galatians 4:22-31

Muslims, like Nasrallah, who claim to be descendant of Prophet Muhammad do so through the line of Fatima, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad.  Nasrallah’s Forebears who trace their lineage all the way back to Ishmael had a bearing on who he was and WHY he hated Israel. 

Hassan Nasrallah was not just the Leader of Hezbollah who served as the Secretary General of Hezbollah for the last thirty years of his life until his assassination in 2024, Nasrallah was also a Religious leader of Islam who traced his lineage to Mohammad, the Founder of Islam through Mohammad’s daughter “Fatima” who traced their lineage back to Abraham’s son Ishmael.

Israel’s Borders with Lebanon and Gaza are more than Land Borders

They are “Spiritual Borders”

that Separate the Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of Islam from Judaism and Christianity

The Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of both Lebanon and Gaza, their bitter revenge, their long-standing contempt, and their desire to see Israel to cease to exist, are the same ideologies and religious beliefs of their forefathers that we read about in Ezekiel 25; Ezekiel 27; Genesis 21:9-21 and Galatians 4:25.  Hence, Israel’s Cross-Border Wars with Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Gaza (Hamas) are Spiritual Wars that go back thousands of years.

By way of history, Ishmael was Abraham’s son by his concubine Hagar, the handmaid of Sarah, who told Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away because Ishmael was mocking her son Isaac, the Promised Son.  Nonetheless, Ishmael is highly regarded by Muslims as a Prophet of Islam as well as the Forefather of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.  Genesis 21:9-21, Galatians 4:25

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective is Key to Understanding WHY Nasrallah, the Leader of Hezbollah for over 30 years as well as a Religious Leader of Islam, championed the “Fatima Gate” as Hezbollah’s “Front Line” of invading and attacking the Galilee beginning with Metulla where the “Fatima Gate” is located – on their way to taking control of Jerusalem’s Old City – land that God gave to the Israelites.  2 Chronicles 6:3-6

2 Chronicles 6:3-6 ³ Then the king turned around to the entire community of Israel standing before him and gave this blessing: ⁴ “Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who has kept the promise He made to my father, David. For He told my father, ⁵ ‘From the day I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have never chosen a city among any of the tribes of Israel as the place where a Temple should be built to honor My name. Nor have I chosen a king to lead My people Israel. ⁶ But now I have chosen Jerusalem as the place for my name to be honored, and I have chosen David to be king over My people Israel.’”

that God told Abraham his seed would possess

Nasrallah claimed that he was a direct Descendant of Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad the Founder of Islam.  Hence, the Border Gate between Israel and Lebanon that was named the “Fatima Gate” in honor of Muhammad’s daughter was Nasrallah’s Front Line of Attack in his Holy War against Israel:   Nasrallah’s claim to be a direct descendant through Muhammad’s daughter “Fatima” is what separates the Shiite Muslims from the Sunni Muslims.  Shiite Muslims believe that only descendants from the direct line of Fatima and her husband Ali can be Islam’s religious leaders, making this a key distinction from Sunni Muslims who believe the Religious Leaders of Islam can trace their lineage back to Muhammad through any of Muhammad’s sons and daughters.

The “Fatima Gate” was Nasrallah’s “Front Line” of attack on his way to Invade and Conquer Jerusalem:  Nasrallah’s plans to invade and conquer the Galilee was to begin at the “Fatima Gate” on the Israeli side of the border in Metulla.  And, after conquering the Galilee Nasrallah’s real goal was to advance towards Jerusalem and take control of the “Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa mosque, Islam’s third holiest site that is located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.  It is here at the “Dome of the Rock” that Muslims believe that Muhammad ascended into heaven.  The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem is a shrine that commemorates the Prophet Muhammad's ascension into heaven was Nasrallah’s ultimate goal of leaving Lebanon and crossing over into the border of Israel through the “Fatima Gate.”

And, that brings me back to the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” that convey the Spiritual Truths in Genesis 22:17, Isaiah 9 and Matthew 4:12-17 that echoes Isaiah 9. 

For the primary purposes of this book my focus is on two very specific Gates of the Enemy:  the Gates of Hell and the Fatima Gate because both of these Gates are located in the Galilee where Jesus lived for 30 years of His life.

• the “Gates of Hell” that as an offspring of Abraham, Christ stood in when He confronted Satan (Matthew  16) and
• the “Fatima Gate” on the Israeli/Lebanon Border that I stood in when Hamas attacked Israel and a convoy of Hezbollah terrorists on motorcycles attempted to breach Metulla’s borders while I was there. 

We know that the “Fatima Gate” is a Spiritual Gateway of the Enemy because the Gate was named in honor of Fatima the daughter of Muhammad the founder of Islam whose teachings are opposed to the teachings of Christ Jesus.  Again, it’s important to note that Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah for over thirty years claimed to be a direct descendant of Muhammad, through the line of Fatima whom the Fatima Gate was named after.  As such, Nasrallah was also honored as a spiritual leader of Islam.

The “Fatima Gate” was more than just a Border Crossing for Nasrallah – it was a Spiritual Gate!

This particular gate – the “Fatima Gate” was considered by Iran and Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, to be the “Front Line” of their “Holy War.”  Hezbollah’s plans to invade and conquer Israel’s Galilee were to begin by crossing through the “Fatima Gate” into Metulla and after conquering Metulla to move throughout the rest of the Galilee conquering the entire Galilee then after conquering the Galilee they would advance to Jerusalem.  Needless to say, it must have been a rude awakening and stark realization for both Hezbollah and Iran when the IDF killed Nasrallah, Hezbollah’s Supreme Leader for over thirty years.

The IDF also killed many of Hezbollah’s leaders and drove the rest of Hezbollah’s military north of Lebanon’s Litani River.  How shocked Iran and Hezbollah must have been when Syria, an ally of Hezbollah, fell and Israel successfully weakened Iran with their air attacks.  Surely both Iran and Hezbollah came to the stark realization that their plans to cross through the “Fatima Gate” and invade and conquer Metulla then invade and conquer the rest of the Galilee on their way to conquer Jerusalem were nothing more than Vain Imaginations.

Which brings me to the land God allotted to the “Tribe of Naphtali” where Metulla, the “Fatima Gate” and the “Gates of Hell” are located.  It’s important to note that both the “Gates of Hell” (Matthew 16) where Christ confronted Satan and the “Fatima Gate” located on the Israeli side of the Border in Metulla that Israel shares with Lebanon are only 12.7 miles apart and both are located in the land that God allocated to the “Tribe of Naphtali” that the Prophet Isaiah spoke of in Isaiah 9 and was echoed by Matthew, a Disciple of Christ in Matthew 4:12-17. 

Isaiah 9:1-2 ¹ But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish [for with judgment comes the promise of salvation]. In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make them honored [by the presence of the Messiah], by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

²The people who walk in [spiritual] darkness

Will see a great Light;

Those who live in the dark land,

The Light will shine on them.  Amplified Bible

Matthew 4:12-17 ¹² Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; ¹³ And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: ¹⁴ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, ¹⁵ The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; ¹⁶ The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. ¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. The Gateways and Borders in the Galilee as we know it

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective:  Geography is fundamental to our understanding of the Bible, otherwise the Prophet Isaiah would not have placed the focus on the geographical areas where Jesus would live and minister throughout His lifetime.

The Spiritual Aspects of Geography:  For many, religion and geography seem to have little in common with one another.  However, quite the contrary!  Upon a closer examination of the Scriptures, since the creation of time beginning with Genesis when God created the “Heavens and the Earth,” God has been weaving His Kingdom purposes and plan of salvation into the geography of the world – hence, the spiritual aspects of the historical events that take place inside each particular geographical area

God is Creator of Heaven and the Earth:  Genesis 1:  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth:  From the beginning God made a connection between the “Spiritual” (the heavens) and “Geography” (the natural features – the characteristics of the earth).

Present-day Israel:  The Israelites continue to believe in the Promise that God made to Abraham thousands of years ago and have fought many battles over the very land that God showed Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15 and that Jesus walked on.

Hezbollah Chose the “Fatima Gate” that leads to the Highway of Hell

as their “Front Line” when they planned to invade the Galilee

Vain Imaginations:   Hezbollah Chose the “Fatima Gate” that can be likened to the Wide Gate that the Apostle Matthew tells us that leads to the Broad Highway that leads to Hell as their “Front Line” where they would begin their attacks to “Conquer the Gallie” – that they now know were just vain imaginations.  

We know from Matthew 7:13-14 that there are two “Spiritual Gates” and two “Spiritual Highways” and man must choose one or the other: 

·        The Narrow gate that leads to eternal life and the road that is difficult that only a few ever find, and

·        The Wide Gate that leads to the Broad Highway to hell.

Matthew 7:13-14 ¹³ “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. ¹⁴ But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. NLT

Matthew 7:12-14 ¹² “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. ¹³ “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. ¹⁴ For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. ESV 

There are but two ways, right and wrong, good and evil; the way to heaven, and the way to hell;

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the Narrow Gate and choose the road that leads to life even though the way will be difficult:  Christ here compares the way to eternal life to an entrance through a Narrow Gate that leads to the road that leads to eternal life.  The way to death, on the other hand, is broad. And, like the Broad Gate, Hezbollah chose as their “Front Line” to conquer the Galilee – the Broad highway that that leads to hell is the highway that men like Hezbollah choose to travel on – the highway that leads to Death and Destruction and Hell.

And, that brings me back to Metulla and Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate,” the wide gate of the enemy that Hezbollah must go through to reach the “Broad Path” that leads to Destruction and Eternal Loss that the Evil Spirit Prince and Kings of Persia and those under their influence travel on.  Matthew 7

The “Fatima Gate” is a Gateway of Israel’s Spiritual Enemies that God told Abraham his seed would possess. 

The Gates of Hell are Wide and lead to the Broad Path – the Highway of Hell:  And, like the “Gates of Hell” (Matthew 16) that are Wide and lead to the “Highway of Hell (Matthew 7), spiritually speaking the Fatima Gate is the Wide Gate that Hezbollah must go through to reach the Broad Path – the Highway of Hell they travel on that leads to Destruction and Hell.  Throughout this book I mention the “Fatima Gate” because it is a Gate of the Enemy that God told Abraham his seed would possess (Genesis 22:17), and the significance of this gate to Hezbollah and the Muslims cannot be understated – the Fatima Gate is their front line of attack – it is this “Spiritual Gate” that Israel’s spiritual enemies, the offspring of Ishmael, must go through in their efforts to destroy Israel. 

Lebanon’s Fatima Gate (a Gateway of Israel’s Spiritual Enemy) is their Front Line of Attack

The “ Fatima Gate” is located just inside Israel’s border and is within walking distance of Metulla as well as Kfar Kila, the Lebanese village on the Lebanonese side of the border.  And Hezbollah is painfuly aware that the Fatima Gate is located on the Israeli side of the border because originally the Fatima Gate was located on the other side of Israel’s border in  Lebanon and that’s why it is called the “Fatima Gate,” in honor of the daughter of Islam’s Prophet.  As to why the Fatima Gate came to be on the Israeli side of the border Israel shares with Lebanon is explained in-depth later in this book as the reasons are quite complex.

Matthew 7:13-14 reveals that “The highway that leads to hell is broad, and its gate is wide,” which tells us that “The Fatima Gate” is the wide gate that Hezbollah and the Muslims enter through to reach the Broad Road they are travelling on that leads to Destruction and Hell.

The Highway of Hell – the Broad Path that Jesus tells us leads to Destruction and Eternal Loss – is the Spiritual Path the Evil Spirit Prince and Kings of Ancient Persia and those under their influence travel on from Iran to Gaza to the Front Line of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate (a Gateway of Israel’s Spiritual Enemy).  The Fatima Gate is the Broad Gate that Hezbollah must go through to reach the Broad Path – the Highway of Hell that Jesus spoke of that has led to the Ongoing Spiritual Battles between Israel and Iran via Hamas and Hezbollah.

And Israel’s Spiritual Battles in the Middle East over Land can only be Settled by taking the Battle to the Battlefield and putting Boots on the Ground – Hence, Israel’s “Spiritual Warfare” is “Trial by Combat” (Judges 11).

Trial by Combat:  The Israelis and Religious Terrorists Organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah who want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth understand what the International Community does not understand:  the ongoing battle between Israel, Hamas and Hezbollah over who owns the land is a Spiritual Battle.  And, neither Spiritual Battles nor Religious Wars over who owns the land can be settled via Diplomatic Means!  It’s a Biblical Principle that Israel’s Holy wars over who owns the land can only be settled by taking the battle to the battlefield; by taking the battle to the land itself.  Hence, “Trial by Combat!”  Judges 11 

It’s because Spiritual Battles and Religious Wars over who owns the land cannot be settled via Diplomatic Means that the UN was unable to enforce Resolution 1701 and why Hezbollah refused to abide by UN Resolution 1701and move eighteen miles away from the border they share with Israel to the north of Lebanon’s Litani River because the conflicts between Hezbollah and Israel are Spiritual.  Again, we know from Judges 11 that Spiritual Battles over who owns the land can only be settled via “Spiritual Warfare,” hence, “Trial by Combat” by taking the Battle to the land itself – to the Battlefield!  Exodus 14:13-14; Joshua 5:13-15Judges 11; Isaiah 58:15-21; Ephesians 6; Revelation 12

The UN may go in and dot the I’s and cross the T’s on a UN Resolution after the present-day battle between Israel and their Iranian-backed enemies has been decided on the battlefield; however, the UN cannot resolve the conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah and Hamas through Diplomatic Means.   And, that brings me to October 2024.

The Israeli Defense Forces Enforced UN Resolution 1701:  In October 2024 the Israeli Defense Forces took their battle with Hezbollah to the Front Line of Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” and putting boots on the ground, crossed over the border into Lebanon to settle their differences with Hezbollah on the battlefield. In doing so, the Israeli Defense Forces accomplished what the United Nations failed to enforce.  On October 27, 2024 the IDF took control of Kfar Kila, Hezbollah’s Stronghold, pushing Hezbollah to the north of Lebanon’s Litani River where they are no longer a threat to the Galilee.  Hezbollah may still be an organization; however, they are severely weakened and no longer a threat to Metulla and other towns in the Galilee

In October 2024 the Israeli Defense Forces entered a New Phase of their War with Hezbollah.  Ignoring the warnings of the UN and International community, the Israeli Defense Forces put “Boots on the Ground in Lebanon” and took the battle to the battleground.  By putting “Boots on the Ground in Lebanon” the Israeli Defense Forces moved from the phase of just Tit-for-Tat Exchanges with Hezbollah to Crossing over the Border Israel shares with Lebanon and Defeating and Destroying Hezbollah on their own soil – hence “Trial by Combat.” 

In October 2024 the Israeli Defense Forces “Came Full Circle” and went back up to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate that they withdrew from in May of 2000:  In May of 2000 when the IDF withdrew from Lebanon’s Security Zone, they passed through Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” back onto Israeli soil.  Twenty-four years have gone by since the IDF withdrew from Lebanon’s Security Zone in 2000.  Now, after 24 years, the Israeli Defense Forces have “come full circle” and gone back up to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” and once again, putting boots on the ground, crossed over the Border they share with Lebanon to Settle their Conflicts with Hezbollah via “Trial by Combat” that were left unsettled when they withdrew from Lebanon in 2000.  

Like Nasrallah’s Spiritual Forebear “Ishmael” who taunted Isaac the Son of the Promise – Nasrallah taunted Benny Gantz who was the last Israeli Soldier to cross through the “Fatima Gate” in May 2000.  However, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob had the last laugh – Psalm 2.

Psalm 2:1-4 says it best:  Why does Iran and Hezbollah make useless plans – plans that they now know were foolish – plans that have come to naught.  Like those in Psalms 2 Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and their allies all want to be free from the spiritual cords that Israel has them bound up in.  Nasrallah taunted Benny Gantz – however, in the end it was Nasrallah who was the “Total Failure.”  The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob laughs at the vain and futile efforts of man who wanted to destroy Israel.

And, in October 2024 the Israeli Defense Forces went up to the Front Line of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate and taking Possession of the Gateway of the Enemy put boots on the ground and crossed over the border onto Lebanese soil to settle their ongoing spiritual battles with Hezbollah via “Trial by Combat” before Hezbollah could cross the border from Kfar Kila and put boots on the ground in Metulla.

In October 2024 Hezbollah’s Plan of “Conquest of the Galilee” came to Naught:  Hezbollah’s boast to “take over the Galilee” came to naught on October 28, 2024 when the IDF, after a month-long battle of boots on the ground inside Lebanon, including skirmishes at the “Fatima Gate,” took control of the Lebanese Village Kfar Kila, a stronghold of Hezbollah, and destroyed Hezbollah’s infrastructure that would have enabled them to invade the Galilee.  And, it was not just a stronghold, but Kfar Kila was Hezbollah’s launch pad so to speak to launch their “Conquest of the Galilee.”  Kfar Kila was key to Hezbollah’s success in invading Metulla and the Galilee. It was from Kfar Kila that Hezbollah planned to storm the border and invade and capture Metulla, take captives, and kill residents, much as Hamas did in the south, then spread out through the rest of the Galilee in their quest to conquer the Galilee.  The IDF found thousands of weapons, rocket launchers, and tactical equipment belonging to Hezbollah soldiers in every house in Kfar Kila, as well as in the underground tunnels and bunkers Hezbollah spent years building in preparation for their “Conquest of the Galilee” that was only their “Vain Imaginations.” 

Victory for Israel:  Taking control of Kfar Kila was a significant victory for Israel because it was from here that Hezbollah’s Elite Radwan Unit had planned to implement Hezbollah’s long-planned ground infiltration into Israel by capturing Metulla and then spreading throughout the Galilee.  Taking control of Kfar Kila destroyed Hezbollah’s ability to conduct a ground infiltration into Israel from Kfar Kila.

Israel does not deny that Israel has suffered tremendous losses since October 7, 2023; however, Israel has also achieved extraordinary victories against those seeking to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Both Hamas and Hezbollah will always regard the State of Israel as an illegitimate nation occupying land that belongs to the Muslim nations, including the holy land of Jerusalem.  Like Hezbollah, Hamas is opposed to even the existence of Israel and wants a nation based on Islam to replace the State of Israel.  And, for those reasons, at some point in time after this present-day conflict is determined, the Israeli Defense Forces will once again have to cross over the border and confront Hezbollah or Hamas or whoever comes after them on the battlefield again because according to Scripture, their hatred for the Jewish people is “Perpetual.”

The Israel-Lebanon Conflict that began on October 8, 2023 is much more than a border war, it is an “International War being fought along a border:” the Israel-Lebanon conflict is a “War with Iran” that is being fought on the borders that Israel shares with Lebanon.  The Unrighteous Road from Iran to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate is the Road that has led to the “International War” that is being fought on the Israel-Lebanon Border that began on October 8, 2023.

It’s an “International War” with Iran that is being fought at Lebanon’s Fatima Gate – once the official border crossing between Lebanon and Israel – and is now Hezbollah’s “Front Line” of attack.  It is an “International War” being fought along a border.

War was Inevitable:  On October 1, 2024 Israel declared that the war with Hezbollah would be decided on the battleground, in essence “Trial by Combat.”  Israel has crossed over Lebanon’s boundary and taken the battle to the battleground inside Lebanon’s borders to enforce UN Resolution 1701, Diplomacy that was meant to end hostilities between Israel and Lebanon.  However, because the UN has failed to enforce Resolution 1701 that was passed 18 years ago – then Israel had no choice but to take the battle to the battleground inside Lebanon’s Borders and enforce UN Resolution 1701 themselves.  After 18 years, the time for “Diplomacy” was over – War with Lebanon was Inevitable!  The Battle would be settled on the battleground – in essence “Trial by Combat.”

Neither Spiritual Battles nor Religious Wars can be Settled via Diplomatic Means!  That’s why the UN was unable to enforce Resolution 1701, and why Hezbollah refused to abide by UN Resolution 1701.  Spiritual Battles can only be Settled via “Spiritual Warfare,” hence, “Trial by Combat” by taking the Battle to the Battlefield!

The “Fatima Gate” is a Gate of the Enemy

that God told Abraham his seed would take by Force and Possess – Genesis 22:17

Before going further its important to note that even though the “Fatima Gate” is located on the Israeli side of the Lebanon-Israel Border within walking distance of Metulla – at one time both Metulla and the “Fatima Gate” were located on Lebanon’s side of the border.  More to the point:  Hezbollah and the Lebanese Authorities believe that the “Fatima Gate” and Metulla, Israel where the “Fatima Gate” is now located both belong to Lebanon and that the Israelis living in Metulla are on Lebonese soil

By Way of History:  Over the centuries, Metulla, Israel has changed hands more than once.  However, for the purposes of this Book, we only need to go back as far as 1896 when a Lebanese land owner sold Metulla to Baron Edmond James de Rothschild, a Zionist, and the post-World War I French and British Mandates to understand why Lebanon and Hezbollah believe Metulla and the Fatima Gate rightly belongs to Lebanon.

Needless to say, the French and British Mandates caused a tremendous amount of damage in the Middle East when they redrew the boundaries between Lebanon and Israel, etc.  The current conflicts between Lebanon and Israel over boundaries can be traced back, in part, to the French and British Mandates.

To begin with, in 1896, Baron Edmond James de Rothschild, a Zionist philanthropist, purchased land from a Lebanese landowner to establish a Jewish settlement they called Metulla.  If you visit Metulla you will find that many of Metulla’s present-day residents are descendants of the original settlers who established Metulla as a Jewish settlement in 1896.

However, Israel probably didn’t take possession of the “Fatima Gate” until after they came under the authority of the British Mandate at the end of World War I when Britain and France were recognized as the Super Powers of the World and took it upon themselves to redraw the boundaries in much of the Middle East.

When the boundaries between Kfar-Kila (Lebanon) and Metulla (now a Jewish Settlement) were Re-drawn to comply with the Sykes-Picot Agreement, a lot of Confusion and Resentment was caused between Lebanon and Israel that still has a bearing on the boundaries.  In fact, to this day Lebanon does not recognize the current boundaries between Lebanon and Israel.  After World War I Metulla was placed under the French Mandate who was given authority over Lebanon.  Later a “Border Adjustment” was agreed upon, and the residential areas of Metulla were placed under the British Mandate who was given authority over land that now is part of the State of Israel.  However, much of the farmland that the residents worked on to earn their living remained in Lebanon under the French Mandate, which was not a problem until Israel won their independence in the “1948 War of Independence” at which time Lebanon closed the border to all residents living in Metulla, even though they owned farmland in Lebanon.

Hence, at the present time, both Lebanon and Hezbollah continues to dispute the validity of Israel’s ownership of the Metulla region that was ceded to meet the terms of the Paulette-Newcomb Agreement between the British and French governments regarding the boundary lines in the Middle East. 

Originally, Metulla was not slated to fall within the boundaries of the British Mandate and definitely was not slated to become part of a Jewish homeland.

Scripture tells us that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.  So we know that the confusion over the boundaries in the Middle East that has caused so many conflicts, including today’s conflicts, is the work of the devil – the confusion as to who owns Metulla and the Fatima Gate is just one example.  1 Corinthians 14:33

Metulla is Part of the Promised Land:  However, “Spiritually” speaking, there is no confusion as to who owns Metulla.  According to Scripture, present-day Metulla is part of the Promised Land and in another chapter I provide the Scriptures that confirm that the land of Metulla, located in the allotment given to the Tribe of Naphtali, is part of the Promised Land.  

The “Fatima Gate” is more than just a Physical Border Crossing between Israel and Lebanon – the “Fatima Gate” is a “Spiritual Gate” that Hezbollah and Lebanon claim belongs on the Lebanese side of the border – not on the Israeli side where it is presently located.  And, Hezbollah and Lebanon want the “Fatima Gate” back.

The Israeli’s Possession of the “Fatima Gate” is Prophecy coming to pass:  God told Abraham that his offspring would possess the gate of their enemies and the present-day location of the “Fatima Gate,” once located on the Lebanese side of the border but now located just feet inside the Israeli side of the Border, is a manifestation of Genesis 22:17.

Genesis 22:17 ¹⁷ That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; (KJV)

In the context of Genesis 22:17, to take possession means to “Occupy the gate of their enemies by force.”  And, that is exactly the situation at the “Fatima Gate” today.  And, Hezbollah and the Lebanese who named the Gate the Fatima Gate in honor of Mohammed’s (Islam’s Prophet) daughter want the “Fatima Gate” back because it is a “Spiritual Gate” than honors Islam’s Prophet.

Spiritual Gateways are Gateways of Authority:  The Lebanese Authorities and Hezbollah Terrorists who claim that the “Fatima Gate” is located on land that rightfully belongs to Lebanon and not Israel are willing to wage war with Israel to get Metulla back and repossess the “Fatima Gate,” a gate of spiritual authority!  And, the only way Hezbollah and Lebanon can repossess the “Fatima Gate” is to take Metulla away from Israel.

The “Fatima Gate” is a Gateway of the Enemy and the Enemy wants that Gate back!

From 1982-2000 during the Israel-Lebanon Conflict, God used Lebanon’s Fatima Gate, the Gate of Israel’s enemy who was seeking the destruction of both Israel and the SLA, a Lebanese Christian Militia who came to the aid of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), for the good of those that love Him.  We know from Genesis 22:17 that God told Abraham that his seed would possess the gate of his enemy and Romans 8:28 reveals that all things work together for the good of those that love God and are called according to His purpose. 

And, when the IDF took possession of the Fatima Gate from 1982-2000 and used it for the saving of many lives, Genesis 22:17 and Romans 8:28 became a Living Word.

During the Lebanon-Israeli Conflict of 1982-2000, the South Lebanon Army (SLA), a militia made up mostly of Maronite Christians, became an ally of the IDF and fought alongside the IDF against Hezbollah and other Muslim militants.  In turn, the IDF allowed the SLA soldiers and their families to come through the Fatima Gate into Metulla, Israel to seek medical treatment and to find jobs that were denied them by both the PLO and later, Hezbollah, basically because they were Christians.

And this is the same Unrighteous Road that Iran travelled on that led to the Iranian regime’s First Ever Direct Attack on Israel when they stopped Hiding behind their Proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas, and Launched Explosive Drones and Fired Missiles directly from Iranian soil at Israel on Saturday, April 13, 2024 – then again on October 1, 2024 when Iran fired over 180 ballistic missiles into central Israel over Tel Aviv and the Holy Land of Jerusalem.  This latest attack was in retaliation to Israel’s elimination of Hassan Nasrallah, founder and leader of Hezbollah, in September 2024.  And, their threats to launch attacks against Israel directly from Iranian soil continue.

Throughout this book I mention the “Fatima Gate,” at one time known as the “Good Fence Crossing,” quite often as the Fatima Gate is an example of the “Gateway of the Enemy” that the Lord told Abraham his offspring would stand in – Genesis 22:17.  And, Genesis 22:17 is as relevant today as it was in Abraham’s time.

Today, Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” and the Good Fence that separates Lebanon from Israel

can be likened to a “Spiritual Fault Zone.”

The Spiritual Breach created by Hezbollah at the “Fatima Gate” and the “Good Fence”

is a Spiritual Breach in the Land that only God can heal

As the earth cracks and opens itself in violent earthquakes that occur at a fault zone, so it is on the border that separates Lebanon from northern Israel.  The whole area along the border is filled with strife and calamity ready to convulse.  The imagery of an earthquake is seen in the panic and the fear that those living near the border are experiencing on a daily basis.

And, only God can heal this breach at the border made by Hezbollah.

And, as an offspring of Abraham,

It is this Gateway of the Enemy I stood in when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023

The “Good Fence Crossing” is Israel’s nickname for Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” that God was able to use as a “Good Gate.”  Needless to say, the term “Good Fence Crossing” is an oxymoron because the meaning behind the two different names are contradictory and opposed to one another. 

The Lebanese named the gate the “Fatima Gate” in honor of the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad.  So one might ask why the Israelis would call the Fatima Gate a Good Fence when Islam is opposed to the teachings of Judaism and their hatred for the Jewish people is apparent.

However, the Israeli Defense Forces hoped to use the Fatima Gate that separated Lebanon from Israel as a means toward co-existence.  During the 1982-2000 Lebanese Conflict with Israel the IDF allowed the South Lebanese Army, a Christian militia who came to the aid of Israel against the PLO and Hezbollah, and their families to come through the Fatima Gate to seek medical care and find jobs that they were denied in Lebanon because they were Christians.  Hence Israel’s nickname, the “Good Gate.”  What the PLO and Hezbollah meant for evil both God and the Israelis meant to use for good.

However, after almost 20 years, the IDF withdrew from the Security Zone that they helped the SLA man inside Lebanon.  And, after the last IDF soldier crossed through the Fatima Gate, never to return to Lebanon, the IDF locked the Fatima Gate that remains locked to this day.  And, it was at this point in time that the Fatima Gate that once allowed the Lebanese Christians and the Israelis to co-exist in peace was no longer a good gate.  At that point in time, the “Fatima Gate” at the “Good Fence Crossing” became the “Front Line” for Hezbollah and anti-Israel protestors who came to the gate to throw rocks over the fence onto Israel soil – the symbolism being that in due time they would cross through the Fatima Gate onto Israeli soil.

For 18 years the IDF was able to give new meaning to the Fatima Gate by using the Fatima Gate for good – hence the Good Fence Crossing.  However, when the IDF withdrew in May of 2000, the concept of the “Good Fence” through which Israel had used to build good relations with the Lebanese Christians collapsed.

Needless to say, the Fatima Gate thought of as a Good Gate by the Israelis, had opposite and contradictory meanings.  And, that’s why the Good Fence was an oxymoron because fences are built to separate and divide – and even if we call the Fatima Gate the Good Fence, the Fence itself was meant to separate the teachings and beliefs of Islam from Judaism as well as serve as a land border between Lebanon and Israel.  The Muslims in Lebanon never saw the Fatima Gate as a good gate in the sense the Israelis did.  To the Muslims in Lebanon the Fatima Gate was only a good gate in the sense it honored Islam’s Prophet Mohammad who was opposed to the teachings of Judaism

Describing the Fatima Gate as a Good Gate is an oxymoron because the differing names combines two opposite qualities or ideas that are impossible to combine.  To try and change the Fatima Gate to be a Good Gate between Lebanon and Israel forever proved to be impossible.

Today, all that is left of what the Israelis used as a Good Gate is a “locked” Good Gate.  All that is left is the Fatima Gate and what the Fatima Gate stood for in the eyes of Hezbollah and the Lebanese in Lebanon today.  The Fatima Gate is definitely no longer a good gate or a good fence border crossing.  The Fatima Gate is a “Gate of the Enemy” that God told Abraham his descendants would stand in (Genesis 22:17).

Today, the Fatima Gate is Hezbollah’s “Front Line.”  The Fatima Gate is the closest Iran via Hezbollah can come to Israel without crossing over onto Israeli soil – a Front Line that Iran via Hezbollah threatens to cross over.

The following provides a more detailed account of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate and how God used the Fatima Gate as a Good Gate to bring down the walls of hostility between the Israelis and the Lebanese Christians who came to the aid of the Israeli Defense Forces in their battles with the PLO and Hezbollah.  Ephesians 2:14-16 

To begin:

Again, the Road from Iran to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate, also known as the Good Fence Crossing, is located in Metulla, Israel on the Israeli-Lebanese Border.  From 1982 to 2000 when the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) withdrew from the Security Buffer Zone inside Lebanon that was set up and controlled by the IDF and the South Lebanese Army (SLA), a Christian Militia and ally of Israel, to prevent the infiltration of Hezbollah Terrorists from crossing over the border into Israel – the Fatima Gate was the Official Border Crossing between Lebanon and Israel. And it is here at the “Fatima Gate” where Iran, via Hezbollah, Drew their “Front Line.” 

It is on this Spiritual Road from Iran to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate that the evil spirit prince and spirit kings of Ancient Persia (Daniel 10) travel on that led to the “1982-2000 Israel-Lebanon Conflicts” between Israel and Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization who is under the influence of the spirit prince and spirit kings of Ancient Persia.  Daniel 10; Ephesians 2:2

Ephesians 2:2 ² In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].  Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Hezbollah began to Attack Israel on October 7, 2023 on the same day Hamas attacked Israel in the south:  And, the Road from Iran to the Front Line of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate is the same spiritual road that the evil spirit prince and kings of Ancient Persia (Daniel 10) continue to travel on that has led to Hezbollah’s present-day attacks on the Israeli border town of Metulla as well as all the border towns in northern Israel where Lebanon shares a border with Israel.  Hezbollah’s present-day attacks began on October 7, 2023 when Hezbollah, in support of their ally Hamas, another Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization who had just attacked Israel in the south, began to attack Israel’s borders in the north.

The present-day attacks began on October 7, 2023 after Hamas crossed over the Border they share with Israel in the south and attacked Israel that led to the present-day war between Israel and Hamas.  After the war broke out between Israel and Hamas, the Iranian-backed Hezbollah Terrorists who have deep ties with the Iranian-backed Hamas Terrorists, expressed their solidarity with Hamas by firing missiles, mortars and rockets into northern Israel, for the most part, on a daily basis that has led to an ongoing cross-border conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

War and Ongoing Conflicts broke out when Lebanon allowed Hezbollah and the gods of Ancient Persia Operating through Hezbollah to come to Lebanon’s Fatima Gate:  The Ongoing Conflicts erupted between Israel and Lebanon when Lebanon allowed the gods of Ancient Persia, (present-day Iran) the spirit prince and spirit kings of Ancient Persia operating behind Hezbollah, to come to Lebanon’s Fatima Gate! 

And, the evil spirit prince and spirit kings of Persia will continue to travel on the Road from Iran to Lebanon’s Fatima Gate bringing War and Conflicts with them until Israel drives Hezbollah out of Lebanon.  When Israel drives Hezbollah out of Lebanon, in essence they will be driving Iran as well as the spirit prince and spirit kings of Ancient Persia out of Lebanon and away from Israel’s borders.

The “Good Gate:”  Lebanon’s Fatima Gate, named in the honor of the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad (hence the Gate of the Enemy Genesis 22:17), was known by the Israelis and the South Lebanese Army, a Christian Militia who came to the aid of the Israeli Defense Forces, as a good gate and the “Good Fence Crossing” because of all the “Good Will” the IDF extended to the SLA and their families who were being mistreated by Hezbollah because they were Christians as well as all the “Good Will” extended by the SLA when they came to the aid of the IDF in their battles with Hezbollah.

What the enemy intended for evil – God used for good:  Romans 8:28 tells us that God will use what was intended for evil for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose for them.  And, that is why Lebanon’s Fatima Gate is known by the Israeli’s and the SLA as the Good Fence Crossing because God used it for good.  God used the South Lebanese Army, a Christian Militia, to come to Israel’s aid in defeating both the PLO and Hezbollah who were attacking both the SLA (because they were Lebanese Christians who rejected Islam) and the IDF.  To reach the Security Buffer Zone that the SLA allowed the Israeli Defense Forces to set up and operate inside Lebanon, the IDF had to cross through the “Fatima Gate.”  At the same time, Israel allowed the SLA and their families to cross through the “Fatima Gate” onto Israeli soil to seek much needed medical care and jobs that the PLO and then Hezbollah denied them simply because they were Lebanese Christians. 

Romans 8:28 ²⁸ And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. (NLT)

First and Foremost God used the Israel-Lebanon Conflicts to bring down the “Dividing Walls” between the Jews and Gentile Christians. 

Ephesians 2:14 ¹⁴ For Christ Himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, He broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. NLT

The Dividing Walls between the Jew and Gentiles came down:  The Security Buffer Zone set up and maintained by both the SLA, a Christian Militia, and the IDF made it possible for the IDF and the SLA to form friendly relations between Israel and the Christian population of south Lebanon.

The “Good Fence Memorial”:  To show their appreciation for the South Lebanese Army, in 2021 Israel built the “Good Fence Memorial” next to the “Fatima Gate” that at one time the IDF was able to use as a good gate, to honor the South Lebanese Army, a Lebanese Christian Militia, for coming to their aid in battling the PLO and then Hezbollah.  It was a Memorial commemorating the many South Lebanon Army soldiers who fell in combat fighting alongside the Israeli Defense Army.  The spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s faithful ally.  The “Good Fence Memorial” commemorates those SLA soldiers who paid a very heavy price for their loyalty in coming to Israel’s aid in their battles against the PLO and then Hezbollah.  Those SLA soldiers who died on the battleground alongside the IDF can be likened to those who Jesus told us that there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  And, that is exactly what the SLA and their families did!

John 15:13 ¹³ There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. NLT

Israel meant so much to Major Haddad and His Christian Militia:  Read the words of Francis Rezik, Major Haddad’s spokesman, as he explained why Major Haddad, the founder of the SLA, and his troops were truly loved by Israel and why Israel meant so much to Major Haddad and His Christian Militia. 

Pause and meditate on his words as you read them:

 “Israel is our double savior. First, she gave us the Messiah who saved us spiritually. Then she saved us from physical destruction. The roots of our Christianity are with the Jews. Why should we not be Israel’s ally?”

The words of Francis Rezik are a Living Testament to the spiritual truths of Ephesians 2:14-18, that Christ's death on the Cross broke down the dividing walls of hostility between the Jews and the Church making them one body.  Gentiles are now fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. 

Like Major Haddad and his Christian Militia, the Spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s most faithful ally!

Nonetheless, to Hezbollah and the Muslims living in Lebanon, the Border Crossing the Lebanese once shared with Israel will always be the “Fatima Gate” because it was named in honor of Fatima, the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad.

The “Fatima Gate”/”Good Fence Crossing” was the official border crossing between Lebanon and Israel from 1982 until 2000 when the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from the Security Buffer Zone in Lebanon never to return to Lebanese soil.  As the last IDF soldier crossed through the “Fatima Gate” back onto Israeli soil, Benny Gantz, who is now a member of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s war cabinet, locked the Fatima Gate that remains locked to this day.  The Fatima Gate remains locked; however, Iran, via Hezbollah, still considers the Fatima Gate as their “Front Line” and the conflicts between Israel and Hezbollah are ongoing.

The “Fatima Gate,” Named after the Daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad, is to this day Iran’s Front Line with Israel:  Via Hezbollah, Iran has drawn a line in the sand at the “Fatima Gate” marking Iran’s Front Line with Israel.  From their perspective Hezbollah drove the IDF out of Lebanon and forced them to bow the knee to Islam as they crossed through Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate,” the Gateway of Israel’s Enemies, back into Israel without any concessions by Hezbollah!  Hezbollah claimed a Divine Victory; however, Israel’s withdrawal was the result of Israeli politics and not an outcome of resistance by Hezbollah.  It was not, as Iran and Hezbollah led the Muslims to believe, a major or divine victory for Hezbollah, the Party of Islam’s god Allah.

Nonetheless, for Iran, Hezbollah and the Muslims living in Lebanon, the “Fatima Gate” had become the “Front-Line” between Lebanon and Israel.  And, so it is today.

The Fatima Gate marks the point where the people of Lebanon and Israel come the closest to one another and is a popular tourist place where Hezbollah and the Lebanese people come to hold anti-Israel demonstrations and throw rocks over into Israel. 

In the battle between Israel, Iran and Hezbollah, Lebanon’s Fatima Gate has become the Front Line both in the Spiritual Realm as well as here on earth.  It was here at the “Fatima Gate” that Hezbollah, a Proxy of Iran, started throwing symbolic stones from the “Fatima Gate” towards Israel after the unilateral Israeli withdrawal from the Security Zone in south Lebanon in 2000.  Again, as the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from south Lebanon back onto to Israeli soil they had to cross through Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate,” named in honor of Fatima, the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad. 

Hezbollah’s message was clear –

Iran was at Israel’s Borders – Iran was at Israel’s Gate – the Fatima Gate was their “Front Line”

The Symbolism of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) leaving the Security Zone in Lebanon and crossing through the “Fatima Gate” for the last time in May 2000 never to return was profound for Hezbollah.  The symbolism was twofold:  (1) that Hezbollah forced the IDF to bow their knee and withdraw from Lebanon without any concessions made by Hezbollah, and (2) when withdrawing, Hezbollah forced the IDF to bow their knee to Islam and withdraw through the “Fatima Gate” that was named in honor of Fatima the daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad.  At least that was their perception – however it wasn’t the truth!

Hence, the “Fatima Gate” is Iran and Hezbollah’s “Front Line” in their ongoing battles with Israel.

It was here at the Fatima Gate located on the Israeli-Lebanese border that Iran, via their proxy Hezbollah, drew their “Front Line” in what has become their ongoing battles with Israel.  Hezbollah’s throwing of stones from the “Fatima Gate” towards Israel demonstrates their deeply rooted hatred and hostility against the Jewish state and their ongoing threats to annihilate the Jewish state that Iran, Hezbollah and Lebanon unwaveringly refuse to recognize. 

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Planned to Throw Symbolic Stones at the “Fatima Gate:”  In 2010 several well-known news outlets ran articles that it was here at the “Fatima Gate” that, like their Proxy Hezbollah, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was planning on throwing Symbolic Stones from the “Fatima Gate” over onto Israeli Soil in Metulla, Israel.  Like Hezbollah, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Message was clear:  The “Fatima Gate” located on the Border that Lebanon shares with Israel in Metulla was Iran’s “Front Line” in their battles against Israel via Hezbollah.  The following are excerpts from a Newsweek article, “Iran’s Ahmadinejad Throws Stones in Lebanon,” that was published on October 7, 2010, and speaks volumes: 

“In New York at the United Nations last month, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spouted his usual conspiratorial vitriol, announcing that the U.S. government may have carried out the 9/11 attacks. Now he's bringing the road show to Lebanon. An official two-day state visit next week, the first since he was elected president in 2005, has Lebanon's fractured political parties up in arms. It would be controversial enough if Ahmadinejad were just going to do a round of meet-and-greets in Beirut, but he's reportedly planning to head south and visit the Fatima Gate, one of the border posts with Israel.  …………

Unlike in the U.S., where his inflammatory provocations are now met with an exasperated shrug, in southern Lebanon, Ahmadinejad has the potential to actually spark a fury. There are reports in the Arabic press that he may throw a few rocks over the border into Israel as a symbolic gesture. Tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv are at an all-time high over Iran's nuclear program, and just two months ago, Lebanese soldiers clashed with the Israeli Defense Forces at the same border. "Ahmadinejad, through this visit, is saying that Beirut is under Iranian influence and that Lebanon is an Iranian base on the Mediterranean," Fares Soueid, a coordinator for the March 14 Alliance, a coalition of political parties often critical of Iranian and Syrian influence in the country, told Agence France-Presse. ‘The message is that Iran is at the border with Israel.’"

KFAR KILA Residents of southern Lebanon are brimming with excitement ahead of a visit by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is expected to tour the border area with his arch-enemy Israel in a message of defiance.

“I can’t wait to see Ahmadinejad get close to the barbed wire and show the Israelis that he has them by the throat,” said Abdullah, of the border village of Kfar Kila, who refused to give his real name.

“Can you imagine? He is going to stand barely a metre (yard) from Israel and that’s so symbolic,” added Abdullah, who runs a restaurant at Fatima Gate, just beyond the border fence between the two countries.

Through their Proxy Iran has drawn a “Front Line” at the “Fatima Gate”:  While many news outlets reported that Ahmadinejad went to the “Fatima Gate” – according to several other news articles, Ahmadinejad never made it to the Fatima Gate – only to the Fatima Garden next to the Fatima Gate.  Whether he did or not doesn’t really matter because every time Iran’s Proxy Hezbollah or the Lebanese throw rocks from the “Fatima Gate” at Israel, Hezbollah makes it clear that the “Fatima Gate,” located in Metulla on the Border that Lebanon shares with Israel, is Iran’s Front Line as well as theirs.

Whether Ahmadinejad did or did not make it to the Fatima Gate doesn’t really matter because every time Iran’s Proxy, Hezbollah or the Lebanese people throw rocks from the “Fatima Gate” at Israel – first and foremost they do so for Iran. 

Nasrallah Expresses Dismay over Hoopla Surrounding Throwing of Stones

According to the following KUNA (Kuwait News Agency) News Article, “Nasrallah Expresses Dismay over Hoopla Surrounding Throwing of Stones On.”  As can be seen directly below the title, the article was originally published on August 13, 2000 (13/08/2000) and references throwing stones over the Fatima Gate onto Israeli soil.

The Path from Iran to the Fatima Gate that was once the Good Fence Border Crossing in Metulla, Israel where Lebanon shares a Border with Israel was an “Unrighteous Path” that led to the birth of Hezbollah and Iran’s Ongoing Border Wars with Israel via Hezbollah.

On October 7 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel and Israel’s Prime Minister declared that Israel was at war,

I took my Stand on the “Front Line” in the “Gate of the Enemy” in Metulla, Israel

When we stand in the “Gate of the Enemy” like the “Fatima Gate” (Genesis 22:17) –

we are standing on the “Front Line” of a battle being fought in the Spiritual Realm (Ephesians 6, Revelation 12).

On October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel and a Convoy of Hezbollah soldiers on Motorcycles attempted to Breach Metulla’s Borders, I took my Stand on the “Front Line” against the Spiritual Forces of wickedness in the Heavenly Realm on Hezbollah’s Front Line:  When Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 and a Convoy of Hezbollah Terrorists on motorcycles attempted to breach Metulla’s Borders, I went to the “Front Line” on the Border in Metulla, Israel where Iran, via Hezbollah, drew Iran’s “Front Line” and I took my Stand on the “Front Line” against the Spiritual Forces of Wickedness in the Heavenly Realm operating behind Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah.

On October 7, 2023, on the Day of Evil, I put on the Whole Armor of God, and after going to the “Fatima Gate” where Iran, via Hezbollah, drew their “Front Line,” I walked over to the “Good Fence Memorial” that is part of the “Fatima Gate” on the Border that Lebanon shares with Israel in Metulla, and I took my Stand on the “Front Line” against the Wiles of the Devil and the Evil Spirits in the Heavenly Realm Operating behind Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas – Ephesians 6:10-17. 

Ephesians 6 ¹⁰ In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.  Amplified Bible

The “Fatima Gate,” Named in Honor of the Daughter of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad, is to this day Iran’s Front Line with Israel:  Whether it was President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad himself or via Hezbollah, Iran drew a line in the sand at the “Fatima Gate” marking Iran’s front line with Israel.  Hezbollah wants the Fatima Gate to be a reminder to the Lebanese people that it was here in 2000 that Hezbollah forced the IDF bow the knee to Islam and to cross through Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate,” the Gateway of Israel’s Enemies, back into Israel without any concessions by Hezbollah!  This was not true; nonetheless, that is what Hezbollah led the Lebanese people and the Arab world to believe.  Hezbollah did not force Israel out of Lebanon – the IDF left because of the Prime Minister of Israel who wanted to fulfill a campaign promise that if he was elected he would bring the IDF out of Lebanon.

The Symbolism of Hezbollah’s Gesture of throwing stones from the “Fatima Gate” towards Israel is more than symbolic – the Gesture was and continues to be a Real Threat.  Hence, the ongoing cross-border wars with Hezbollah – a Proxy of Iran.  In essence, Hezbollah is an extension of Iran’s military in Lebanon.  And, on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel on their southern border, in support of Hamas, a convoy of Hezbollah soldiers on motorcycles attempted to breach Metulla’s borders while I was still in Metulla!  They were driven back by the Israeli Defense Forces.  Nonetheless, in support of Hamas, Hezbollah has continued their attacks against the residents of Metulla as well as all the border towns in the Galilee.  In October 2023 the residents of Metulla were evacuated and Metulla, now a battlefield, has been declared a military zone.

Today, Lebanon’s “Fatima Gate” and the Good Fence that separates Lebanon from Israel

can be likened to a “Spiritual Fault Zone”

The Spiritual Breach created by Hezbollah at the “Fatima Gate” and the “Good Fence”

is a Spiritual Breach in the Land that only God can heal

As the earth cracks and opens itself in violent earthquakes that occur at a fault zone, so it is on the border that separates Lebanon from northern Israel.  The whole area along the border is filled with strife and calamity ready to convulse.  The imagery of an earthquake is seen in the panic and the fear that those living near the border are experiencing on a daily basis.

And, only God can heal this breach at the border made by Hezbollah.

In essence, the ongoing border wars between Hezbollah and Israel are Border Wars between Iran and Israel via Hezbollah.  Hezbollah is nothing more than a branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps – Iran’s Military Institution that oversees Iran’s foreign policy providing assistance to military groups throughout the Middle East, including Hezbollah, whose stronghold is in Lebanon, and Hamas, whose stronghold is in the Palestinian territory of Gaza, both of whom protect Iran’s influence and power in those regions.

In Essence, Hezbollah is Lebanon’s Iranian Military.  However, Hezbollah is not just a “Means to an End” for Iran – Hezbollah is an “End in Itself.”

Israel’s Borders with Lebanon and Gaza are more than Land Borders

They are “Spiritual Borders”

that Separate the Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of Islam from Judaism

The Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of both Lebanon and Gaza, their bitter revenge, their long-standing contempt, and their desire to see Israel to cease to exist, are the same ideologies and religious beliefs of their forefathers that we read about in Ezekiel 25 and Ezekiel 27.  Hence, Israel’s Cross-Border Wars with Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Gaza (Hamas) are Spiritual Wars that go back thousands of years.

By way of history, Ishmael was Abraham’s son by his concubine Hagar, the handmaid of Sarah, who told Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away because Ishmael was mocking her son Isaac, the Promised Son.  Nonetheless, Ishmael is highly regarded by Muslims as a Prophet of Islam as well as the Forefather of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.  Genesis 21:9-21, Galatians 4:25

And, that brings me to the Borders of the 12 Tribes of Israel

and the Borders of the 12 Nations of Ishmael that were ordained by God.

Deuteronomy 32:8 and Acts 17:26 tells us that God determined the Boundaries of all nations and the times and places where we should live.  And, these Geographical Boundaries established by God are “Spiritual Boundaries” that were meant to separate the 12 Tribes of Israel from the 12 Nations of Ishmael.  The Geographical Boundaries established by God (Deuteronomy 32:8) between Israel and the nations of Ishmael were established by God to separate the Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of Islam from Christianity as well as Judaism.

Israel’s Border Wars:  Yet, Gaza crossed over the Border they share with Israel and attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.  Like their Forefathers, they crossed over the Border onto Israeli soil because of their bitter revenge and long-standing contempt, thus killing over one thousand Israelis, taking at least 253 people hostage and now demanding that Israel give all of Jerusalem to them as the capital of a Palestinian State.  Ezekiel 25:15-17

Lebanon and Gaza’s Hatred for Israel is the same Hatred that Scripture tells us that their Forefathers harbored.  Like their Biblical Forefathers, the Lebanese people would rejoice if Israel ceased to exist.  Like their forefathers before them, they too would shout aloud “Aha, Israel’s offshore gas fields in the Mediterranean Sea are now ours” – that once again Tyre would be known as the Gateway to the Sea.  Ezekiel 27

Hezbollah shares Iran’s hostility toward both the United States and Israel, which occupied the Security Zone inside southern Lebanon when Hezbollah was founded, after the PLO was driven out by the Israeli Defense Forces and a void was left that Hezbollah took advantage of.

Israel’s Borders with Lebanon and Gaza are more than Land Borders – they are “Spiritual Borders” Ordained by the Lord – hence, Israel’s Wars on the Borders they share with Lebanon where Hezbollah has a Stronghold, and Gaza where Hamas has a Stronghold, are “Spiritual Wars” that are being fought here on earth. Daniel 10; Revelation 12

On Earth as in Heaven – there is a Front Line in the Spiritual Realm as well as here on Earth:  Just as the Lord used those things in the natural realm here on earth that people were familiar with to convey a Spiritual Principle, I want to use the meaning of the military term, “Front Line,” to convey the spiritual principle of the “Front Line” in “Spiritual Warfare.”  In military terms, being on the Front Line means that you are in the position closest to the conflict in the fight against an opposing force; the Front Line is where two opposing militaries meet. 

So it is in Spiritual Warfare:  Ephesians 6:10-17 describes “Front Line” Spiritual Warfare!

When we stand in the “Gate of the Enemy” like the “Fatima Gate” (Genesis 22:17) –

we are standing on the “Front Line” of a battle being fought in the Spiritual Realm (Ephesians 6, Revelation 12).

Ephesians 6:10- 17 describes “Front Line” Spiritual Warfare:  Ephesians 6 describes such a “Front Line” in the Spiritual Realm and the Spiritual Armor we need to put on to defend ourselves against the attacks of Satan and the principalities in the heavens. The Apostle Paul tells us to take up the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand evil, and having done all we can, to stand.  The Apostle Paul tells us that we are to Stand our Ground by putting on: 

·        We are to put on the Belt of Truth

·        We are to put on the Body Armor – the Breastplate of God’s Righteousness

·        For shoes we are to put on the Peace that comes from the Gospel of Jesus Christ

·        We are to hold up the Shield of Faith to stop the fiery darts of the devil

·        We are to put on the Helmet of Salvation

·        We are to take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God

And, we are to Pray at all times!

When God calls us to be on the Front Line of a Battle in the Spiritual Realm:  On October 7, 2023, the day Hamas attacked Israel, God called me to make an hour-long video at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the Fatima Gate, the Good Fence Crossing that at one time was the Official Border Crossing between Israel and Lebanon and where Iran via Hezbollah drew their “Front Line.”

Iran’s Message via Hezbollah was Clear –

Iran is at the Border with Israel – Iran is at Israel’s Gate – the “Fatima Gate” is their “Front Line”

On Earth as in Heaven:  When I went to the “Good Fence Memorial” at the Fatima Gate on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel, I was standing on the “Front Line” of the Spiritual Battle that was going on in the Spiritual Realm as the Battle here on earth was being fought between Israel and Hamas, an Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, at the Front Line in the south of Israel.  Again, Ephesians 6 reveals that our battle is in the spiritual realm – not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6 ¹⁰ In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.  Amplified Bible

Just as God told Abraham that his descendants would stand in the Gateway of their Enemy (Genesis 22:17) , I was Standing on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the “Fatima Gate” when Hamas attacked Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu told the citizens of Israel that Israel was at war.

Again, the “Fatima Gate” is the Good Fence Border Crossing in Metulla where Israel shares a border with Lebanon and is a recurring topic throughout this book because the “Fatima Gate” is an example of the “Gateway of the Enemy” that God told Abraham that his descendants would stand in.  And, that is why I was in Metulla, Israel on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel by crossing over the Border they share with Israel, killing over 1,200 people, and taking at least 253 hostages, including IDF soldiers, with them back over the border into Gaza.

I was in Metulla, Israel for the purpose of standing on the “Front Line” at the Gate of the Enemy at the “Good Fence” Memorial at the Fatima Gate that at one time was the Good Fence Crossing, as well as standing in the “Fatima Gate” itself.

God called me to go to the same “Front Line”

where Iran via Hezbollah has drawn their “Front Line” in their ongoing conflicts with Israel

There were two specific reasons why God quickened me to go all the way from America to Metulla, Israel in October 2023:

1. To stand on the Front Line in the Gateway of the Enemy on October 6, 2023, which was the day Hamas made the decision to attack Israel, and again on October 7, 2023, which was the day Hamas attacked Israel, and
2. To make a video at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the “Fatima Gate” for my sons and daughters yet to be born that I will never meet – a Memorial so to speak of my pilgrimage to the Galilee when Hamas attacked Israel and Israel went to war.  The video and book is for my spiritual sons and daughters who, like me, God will call to stand on the “Front Line” in the “Gates of the Enemy.”  Psalm 102:18

The Road to the “Fatima Gate” that the Israeli Defense Forces nicknamed the “Good Fence”:  Much to the chagrin of the PLO and then Hezbollah, soldiers from the SLA, a Christian Militia who came to the aid of the IDF in their battles with both the PLO and then Hezbollah, they and their families came through the “Fatima Gate” to seek medical assistance and to find work in Metulla, Israel that had been denied to them in Lebanon.  Hence, God was able to use the “Fatima Gate” as a “Good Gate” for those that loved Him.  Romans 8:28

However, to the Lebanese, the Border Gate will always be known as the “Fatima Gate” named in honor of the daughter of Islam’s Prophet, Mohammad – hence, the “Gate of the Enemy.”  (Genesis 22:17)

Keep in mind that the goal of Hezbollah was to oust Israel from Lebanon, and as they withdrew from the Security Zone in Lebanon, the IDF had to pass through the “Fatima Gate.”  And, to this day the “Fatima Gate” is a reminder to the Muslims that the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from the Security Zone in Lebanon without any concessions from Hezbollah, as this had never happened before.  Hezbollah grew in stature as they were able to claim victory for driving the Israeli Defense Forces out of Lebanon, even though that is not what happened.

Even though the Israelis locked the “Fatima Gate” as they withdrew for the last time in May 2000 and remains locked, the “Fatima Gate” is now a famous tourist site as the place where Palestinians and Lebanese go to throw rocks at Israeli soldiers and onto Israeli soil.

The Locked Fatima Gate is the symbolic border crossing to Israel that is now the site of regular anti-Israel protests, including Muslims throwing symbolic stones from Lebanon into Israel to “celebrate Hezbollah’s victories” for forcing the IDF to withdraw from the Security Zone inside Lebanon back onto Israeli soil through the Fatima Gate.  Again, that’s not what happened; nonetheless, that is what the Lebanese were led to believe.

In the battle between Israel, and Hezbollah, in essence Iran, Lebanon’s Fatima Gate has become the front line – where the two opposing armies can come face-to-face – where Hezbollah and the Lebanese can come face-to-face with Israel and over the years have thrown rocks across the border onto Israeli soil – symbolic of the thousands of rockets and missiles that Hezbollah is now launching into Metulla and the Galilee terrorizing the Israelis on a daily basis since Hamas attacked Israel in the south on October 7, 2023.

The Sphere of Influence that Iran wields over the Middle East and the International Community via Hezbollah and Hamas can be compared to the Vines of Sibmah that the Prophet Jeremiah spoke of in Jeremiah 48:32 whose Tendrils of Influence stretched across the sea Spreading its Poisonous Influence, thus ruining many Vineyards in the Middle East both then and now.

³² “O vines of Sibmah, I will weep for you

More than the weeping of Jazer [over its ruins and wasted vineyards].

Your tendrils [of influence] stretched across the sea,

Reaching [even] to the sea of Jazer.

The destroyer has fallen

On your summer fruits and your [season’s] crop of grapes.  Amplified Bible

The poisonous vines from Iran spread from Iran across the sea and throughout the Arab nations and Palestine, spreading its poisonous influence all throughout the Middle East. 

Hezbollah and Hamas are two Poisonous Vines of Iran:  The roots from which these vines of influence sprung from are the roots of bitterness that trouble and defile many (Hebrews 12:15).  Many people were poisoned and continue to be poisoned because of their influence.  The poisonous vines of both Hezbollah and Hamas continue to grow and thrive as others fertilize, feed and water their roots and vines.  Needless to say, these roots of bitterness and their poisonous vines have defiled and poisoned many in the Middle East and continue to do so!

The Poisonous Vines of Iran via Hamas have even reached Capitol Hill: The Poisonous Vines of Iran via Hamas have influenced Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and President Biden who have “Lost their Way.”  On March 14, 2024 Senator Schumer made the claim that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “has lost his way” and that the Israelis need to call for new elections.  And, on March 15, 2024 President Biden supported Senator Schumer.  Both Schumer and Biden are calling for a Two-State solution – they are demanding that the Israelis give Jerusalem, land that God gave to them on Promise, to Hamas. 

They believe that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should step aside because of all the people that have died in Gaza during the war between Israel and Hamas.  Do they forget that it was Hamas who started the war?  Do they forget that all Israel is asking for is all those who were taken captive by Hamas to be returned to Israel – yet Hamas refuses?  It is Senator Schumer and President Biden who have lost their way!  And, it’s all because of Politics!

Even though the IDF left the Security Zone inside Lebanon in May of 2000, the war is still going on because no one has ever laid axe to the roots of the poisonous vines of Hezbollah that found their way into south Lebanon.  And, until someone lays axe to the roots, Hezbollah will always be able to draw Lebanon into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict via trans-border attacks against northern Israel that are being launched from within the borders of south Lebanon in support of Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Iran’s Tendrils of Hatred for Israel Stretch across the Sea to Lebanon:  Even today, the poisonous vines of Hezbollah and Hamas have proven to be invasive – they are all encompassing throughout present-day Lebanon and Gaza.  Hezbollah has proven to be a dominant and formidable political party within Lebanon, which gives Iran license to spread their tendrils of influence (their hatred for Israel) inside Lebanon.

Lebanon is only a means to an end for Iran:  One look at the map of northern Israel and you can see that Lebanon surrounds Metulla, Israel’s northernmost town, on three sides.  However, in spirit and reality, Iran via Hezbollah is the one that borders Metulla on three sides, not Lebanon.  Lebanon is only a means to an end for Iran – however, Hezbollah is an End in Itself.

Again, on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel on the Border Israel shares with Gaza I stood on the Front Line where Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hezbollah drew their “Front Line.”  I stood at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla where Israel shares a Border with Lebanon.  

And, I am not the only one who took a stand on the front line.

The Stones on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” Cry out in Praise of Jesus Christ!  (See Chapter 31)

On the day Hamas Attacked Israel when I made an Hour-Long Video at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla that was erected by the Israeli Government to Honor the South Lebanese Army, the Christian Militia who came to the aid of the IDF in their battle against the Cross-border attacks of the PLO and Hezbollah – here on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” that literally butts up to the Land Border that Israel shares with Lebanon, the Stones at the Memorial “Cry out in Praise of Jesus Christ” – hence the video.  (See Chapter 31)

While I was in Metulla and before Hamas attacked Israel, the Lord gave me the understanding that He wanted me to make a Video at the “Good Fence Memorial” on October 7, 2023 – a Memorial so to speak – to leave for my sons and daughters that have yet to be born – it was to be a memorial of my pilgrimage to the Galilee.

The Lord was very specific as to when I was to make the Video – on October 7, 2023 and not until then.  It’s important to note that before anyone knew that Hamas was going to attack Israel on October 7, 2023, the Lord gave me the understanding that I was not to make the video until October 7, 2023.

When I went to the “Good Fence Memorial” on October 7, 2023 to make the video, the town of Metulla had turned into a ghost town.  Even before Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the Nation of Israel regarding Hamas’ attack on Israel, I noticed that the guests at the hotel where I was staying had begun to pack up and leave, and from what we could tell, the staff had left as well.  The residents of Metulla that we would normally see going about their daily routines were nowhere to be seen. We later found out they would have gone into their safe rooms – that to go out on the streets meant they would be perfect targets for Hezbollah snipers who, like Hamas, were threatening to cross over the border Israel shares with Lebanon and attack Israel’s northern towns.

Even with all that was going on, in obedience to the understanding the Lord had given me regarding October 7, 2023, I kept focused on making the hour-long video at the “Good Fence Memorial.”  And, I was not afraid of going to the “Good Fence Memorial” even though it butts up to the border Israel shares with Lebanon because I kept Matthew 24:6-14 in mind where Jesus tells us that we are not to be frightened or troubled when nations rise up against another nation because these wars must take place before Christ will return.  So, I knew that the war between Israel and Hamas, not that it was good, must take place.

It was because of Matthew 24:6-8 that I never panicked or felt fear, and would not leave Metulla until the manager of the hotel told us at 10:30 pm on the night of October 7, 2023 – the first night of the war – that we were being evacuated to the Sea of Galilee the next morning. 

And, it was only later that I found out that early that morning, in support of Hamas, a convoy of Hezbollah soldiers on motorcycles attempted to breach Metulla’s borders just shortly before I went to the “Good Fence Memorial”  to record my video; however, they were driven back by the IDF.  If Hezbollah’s soldiers had succeeded in breaching Metulla’s borders, there is no doubt they would have caused the same destruction that Hamas had caused that morning when they breached the border Israel shares with Gaza.

On October 7, 2023, Psalm 91 became a Living Word in my life: 

Psalm 91:7-12 ⁷ Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. ⁸ Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. ⁹ If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, ¹⁰ no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. ¹¹ For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. ¹² They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. NLT

Verse 14 reveals that the Lord will rescue those who love Him and protect those who trust in His Name.  I will always be eternally grateful for God’s protection while I was making the hour-long video at the “Good Fence Memorial” because I had already encountered several people who tried to intimidate me when I was at the “Fatima Gate,” which is seconds away from the “Good Fence Memorial,” on a previous day.  And, it was only because of the war that I knew no one would be at the “Good Fence Memorial” and try to intimidate me while making the video because they would all be staying indoors. 

It became obvious to us that the residents of Metulla were staying in their homes where they had “safe rooms” that would protect them from any rockets that Hezbollah would launch over the border they share with Lebanon.  No doubt that everyone was staying indoors and monitoring the situation.  We didn’t see anyone until after I finished making the hour-long video and we were walking back to our hotel.  As we were walking away from the “Good Fence Memorial,” we were stopped by two men in a car who had a rifle, and we now believe to have been either two plain-clothes IDF soldiers or men who lived in Metulla that were involved with Metulla’s security. 

The two men questioned us as to why we were in that area and explained to us that they were very sensitive to anyone being in that area, although the area was open to tourists.  We mentioned that we understood and realized that Hamas had attacked Israel just hours earlier that morning.  They told us, no, we were not doing anything wrong, but made it clear they felt better if we stayed clear of the “Good Fence Memorial” and the “Fatima Gate,” which at one time was the official border crossing between Israel and Lebanon, who to this day are “Officially at War.”  They also made sure that we knew they were aware of our comings and goings since arriving in Metulla.

While we were talking with them you could see the only thing that separated Israel from Lebanon from where we were standing was the “Fatima Gate,” which was the “Good Fence Crossing” until the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from Lebanon in May of 2000.  After the last IDF soldier withdrew through the “Fatima Gate” for the last time never to return to the Security Zone in Lebanon, the “Good Fence Crossing” was locked and to this day remains locked. 

I wrote Chapter 31 before October 7, 2023:  It’s important to note that I wrote Chapter 31 while I was still in Metulla in the upper Galilee during Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the Fall Feast of the Lord – Leviticus 23:33-36 – and before Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.  And, the understanding from the Lord was that the video was to be of me reading Chapter 31.  As a note, on the video I mentioned that the Chapter I would be recording on the video was Chapter 24; however, after I arrived back in the United States it ended up as Chapter 31.

I want to point out that in addition to reading Chapter 31 on the video, I made several additional comments on the video.  For example, the following excerpt from the video was not part of the original Chapter 31 that I wrote before I went to the “Good Fence Memorial” to make the video. However, the excerpt from the video documents that I did make the video on the day the Prime Minister of Israel declared that “Israel was at War.” 

It was at the point in Chapter 31, after reading Judges 3:1-3, that I made the following comments concerning Hamas’ attack on Israel because Judges 3:1-3 is key to understanding Hamas’ present-day attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 as I was literally making the video at the “Good Fence Memorial.”  And, that is why the excerpt begins with “And this is why that is important,” meaning why Judges 3:1-3, to understanding Hamas’ attack on Israel: 

Beginning of Excerpt:

“And this is why that is important

“This morning on the news, Hamas, who has formed an alliance with Hezbollah, just across the border here, they attacked Israel and some of their terrorists are now on Israeli soil.  The last I read before coming out here this morning they had captured five Israeli IDF soldiers, several people have been killed, and the last I read is that the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, has formerly declared that Israel, as of today, is at war.

So we have to ask, we have to understand that even though the war is not good that God will use that war to teach the younger generations to war.  We may not agree with that and we may not understand that but that is God’s Will and we are not to question – His ways are His Ways.”  End of Excerpt.

It’s important to note that the location of the “Good Fence Memorial” where I made the video Butts up to the Land Border that Israel shares with Lebanon and was chosen because it was to be part of the “Fatima Gate” known by the Israelis as the “Good Fence Crossing,” where the IDF was able to use the Fatima Gate for good – hence the name of the Memorial – the “Good Fence Memorial.”  It was here at the “Good Fence Crossing” that the IDF would cross through when leaving Israel to reach the Security Zone the IDF manned in Lebanon.  And, it was here at the “Good Fence Crossing” where George Otis hung the Banner that read. “The Voice of Hope,” with the flags of both Israel and Lebanon displayed.  It was here at the “Good Fence Crossing” where George Otis would cross through to reach his radio station, “The Voice of Hope,” he built on the war-torn battlefields of Lebanon.  And, it was here that Major Haddad would cross through the “Good Fence Crossing” as he left the Security Zone in Lebanon and crossed over into Israel to meet with the IDF and George Otis. 

In Chapter 31 I included a screenshot from Windows File Explorer that reflects the time here in America and documents the creation date and time of the video that I made at the “Good Fence Memorial” was on October 7, 2023. 

The following screenshot is from a preview pane in Windows File Explorer and documents that I did make a video on October 7, 2023 at the “Good Fence Memorial.”  In the picture displayed on the preview pane in Windows File Explorer you can see Lebanon behind where I am sitting. 

On either side where I am sitting you can see the Israeli flag to my left and the Lebanese flag to my right, and this is significant because, as you can see on the following postcard, this particular memorial is a reflection of the two flags that literally flew side-by-side at the entrance to the “Fatima Gate” that the Israelis used as a “Good Gate” until May of 2000 when the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from the Security Zone inside Lebanon.

When we stand in a Gateway of the Enemy, principalities will be dislodged from the heavens and they will bring their wrath to earth – hence wars (Revelation 12).  The connection between Lebanon/Hezbollah and Hamas/Gaza is that they both share a Border with Israel and both are controlled by Iranian Terrorist Organizations.  More to the point, when the principality is dislodged, Scripture tells us that God determines its path Psalm (78:49-50), and when I stood in the Gateway of the Enemy at the Border Israel shares with Lebanon, the principality had to bring its wrath along the Border with an Iranian Terrorist Organization.  And, I go into great detail throughout this Book to explain all of this.

And, that brings me back to Israel’s Borders with Lebanon and Gaza that are more than Land Borders – they are “Spiritual Borders” Ordained by the Lord – Hence, Israel’s Wars on the Borders they share with Lebanon where Hezbollah has a Stronghold and Gaza where Hamas has a Stronghold are “Spiritual Wars.”

Spiritual Gates, the Gates of the Enemy, and Spiritual Borders

Are as Relevant Today as they were when the Scriptures were Written

Spiritual Gates, the Gates of the Enemy and Spiritual Borders are as Relevant Today as they were when the Bible was Written.  And just as God told Abraham that his descendants would stand in the gateway of their enemies – God called me to stand in the “Fatima Gate” and the “Good Fence Memorial” as they are one and the same Gateway.  The “Fatima Gate” is the “Good Fence Border Crossing” that at one time was the Official Border Crossing at the Border Israel shares with Lebanon (Hezbollah) in the north while I was staying in Metulla, Israel when Hamas Terrorists, an ally of Hezbollah, crossed over the Border Gaza shares with Israel in the south of Israel and attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.

Jesus went to the Front Lines at the “Gates of Hell” and Confronted Satan:  As a descendant of Abraham, Jesus went to Caesarea Philippi and while Standing on the “Front Line” of the Gates of His Enemy at the “Gates of Hell,” Jesus confronted Satan.  Speaking into the Spiritual Realm, Jesus declared that the Gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church!  Matthew 16:13-20

And, like Christ, those of us who are descendants of Abraham, when God calls us we too are to go to the Front Line and stand in the gates of our spiritual enemies. 

When God calls us to stand in the Gate of the Enemy – we are standing on the “Front Line.”

And, that brings me to my “Apostolic Calling” of Standing in the Gates of our Spiritual Enemies and to Psalm 102: 18 that explain that I wrote this book to leave for my sons and daughters that have yet to be born – it is a memorial of my pilgrimage to the Galilee.  It is my Testimony unto the Lord to leave for my offspring– sons and daughters that I will never meet – that a generation yet to be born will praise the Lord.  Psalm 102:18 reads:

My writings are directly related to my own spiritual experiences as well as to the historical events that have taken place in America and Israel during my lifetime and the only way I can convey my personal experiences in Israel’s Galilee, specifically Metulla, is through the use of Scripture.

It is because what God’s Word reveals about the “Gates of the Enemy” and the “Borders of a Nation” that were established by God are as Relevant Today as they were when the Bible was written that I am writing this book, which are really notes to my sons and daughters that I will never meet because I know that the Lord will call my spiritual offspring to stand in the gates of their enemies and stand on the borders of the nations!

It is because of my sons and daughters and a people not yet born that will be called by God to be “Spiritual Warriors” (Ephesians 6) and stand in the Gates of the Enemy that I want to record the Biblical Truths about the “Gates of the Enemy” and the Boundaries that God Determined for all nations and peoples.

Born in a Gateway was a Foreshadowing of my Apostolic calling that, as a Spiritual Descendant of Abraham and Rebekah, I would Stand in the “Gateway of the Enemies.”  Genesis 22:17; Genesis 24:60

Like Christ who stood in the Gates of Hell, as a descendant of Abraham, God has called me to go to the Front Line and stand in the gates of my spiritual enemies who are enemies of the Church. 

And, this is the Victory we have when we stand in the Gate of our Enemies:  That we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us; that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve the Lord without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives.  It is Victory over Satan and the Kingdom of Darkness.  Luke 1:70-75

The point that I want to make is that God called me as an “Apostle” (meaning one who is sent out) to Stand in the Gateways of the Enemy even before I was born.

I was born in Madison, West Virginia and raised in Boone County, West Virginia – the “Gateway to the Coal Fields” of West Virginia and that was a Foreshadowing that as a Spiritual Descendant of Abraham and Rebekah, I would Stand in the “Gateway of the Enemies,” including the “Gates of Hell” in Caesarea Philippi, Israel where Jesus once stood, and the “Fatima Gate,” once the official border crossing between Israel and Lebanon in Metulla, Israel during Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.

Genesis 22:17 ¹⁷ That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; KJV

Acts 17:26 ²⁶ And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined [their] allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes),  Amplified Bible Classic Edition

Acts 17:26 reveals that God determined the times and places where we should live.  More to the point, God determined that the boundaries of Madison and Boone County West Virginia was a Gateway and that I was to be born and live in that Gateway for the first 17 years of my life as that was a Foreshadowing of my Apostolic Calling. 

The following is a picture of me standing next to the sign that reads “Welcome to Madison – Gateway to the Coal Fields.”  In front of me is a rock-like structure with the inscription, “Welcome to Madison – Boone County WV.”  Below is a copy of my birth certificate that confirms I was born in Madison, WV.

God’s Word reveals that He is the one who determines when we are born and where we live.  And, that is why the Jewish people living in Israel will stand up and fight to protect their land because God gave Israel to the Jewish people – their ties to the Land are Spiritual.

And, it was God’s Will that I was born and raised in a “Gateway.”

God’s Word reveals that He is the one who determines when we are born and where we live.  And, it was God’s Will that I was born and raised in a “Gateway.”  It was not just any Gateway – it was a Gateway that led to the Coal Fields where Job tells us that miners work in the “Shadow of Death” (Job 28:3).  And, this is significant because both the “Gates of Hell” and the “Fatima Gate” are located in the Galilee where the Prophet Isaiah tells us the people, like coal miners, are living in a geographical region that is in the “Shadow of Death” (Isaiah 9:1-2)..

What!  God determined the times and places where we should live – where I should live!

The Apostolic Calling - Called from the Womb

God’s Word has always been a “Living Word” in my life.  And, born and raised in a Gateway is just one of many examples and signs of my Apostolic Calling.  Like the Apostle Paul, God called me to be an apostle even before I was born as my parents were already living in Boone County before I was born. Galatians 1:15 

Galatians 1:15 ¹⁵ But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was pleased  Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

2 Corinthians 12:12 ¹² Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. KJV

The Biblical Basis as to why the above Documentation, as well as the Documentation throughout this Book, is Important as it confirms what I am saying is true.  A picture of me standing in the “Gateway to the Coal Fields” alongside my birth certificate and the picture of me standing in Metulla, Israel on October 7, 2023 and the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla, Israel on October 7, 2023 will enable anyone to connect the dots and confirm that what I am saying is true – that from birth God gifted me with an Apostolic calling. 

The date on the picture of me standing at the Road Sign that points to both the “Good Fence” where the “Fatima Gate” is located and Metulla, both within walking distance of the sign, confirms that I was in Metulla, Israel on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel and the Prime Minister of Israel declared that the State of Israel was at war. 

The significance of the “Fatima Gate” is that this same Gate that was once the official border crossing between Israel and Lebanon is known as the “Fatima Gate” by the Lebanese that live on the other side of the gate from where I am standing was named Fatima in honor of Islam’s Prophet Mohammad’s daughter.  Hence, the “Gate of the Enemy” as the Gate.

The date of the above picture of me standing at the “Gates of Hell” in Caesarea Philipp, about 30 minutes from Metulla, Israel, also confirms that I was in Israel during Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, in 2023.  The account of when Jesus stood in the “Gates of Hell” is recorded in Matthew 16.

Part of Abraham’s Blessing from the Lord was the Promise that “your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies.”  And, like Jesus Christ who stood in the “Gates of Hell” and confronted Satan, as Spiritual Descendants of Abraham, we too can stand in the “Gates of Hell” and confront Satan and remind Satan that he will not prevail against the Church! 

Gates in Biblical Israel weren’t just the entrance into the city – they were Spiritual Gates. 

Even before God spoke to Abraham about the Gates of the Enemy we find that two Angels spoke with Lot while Lot was sitting in the Gate of Sodom.  Genesis 19:1

It was at the Gate of Sodom that Abraham’s nephew, Lot, greeted the two angels who came to his city to execute God’s purpose concerning the destruction of Sodom.

Genesis 19:1 ¹ And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; KJV

Surely this was a “Spiritual Gate” – and a Gateway of the Enemy as we all know that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their extreme wickedness.  No doubt that the Gate of Sodom was a Gate of the Enemy.

Wisdom Cries out in the City Gates to the Simpletons who insist on being Simpleminded.  Wisdom Cries to the Simpleminded to listen to her counsel that will make them Wise:  In Proverbs 1:21wisdom is personified.  It was at the Gate that Wisdom Cried out.

Proverbs 1:20-23 ²⁰ Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square. ²¹ She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate: ²² “How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge

Then there are the Ancient Gates that lifted up their heads so that the Lord, the “King of Glory” could come in.

Psalm 24:7-10 ⁷ Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. ⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle! ⁹ Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. ¹⁰ Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! Selah  ESV

There are many, many other Scriptures about gates and I include an account of these other gates later in my Book.

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective is Key to Understanding

The Gateways and Borders in the World as we know it

Reading Scripture from a “Geographical” Perspective:  Geography is fundamental to our understanding of the Bible, otherwise the Prophet Isaiah would not have placed the focus on the geographical areas where Jesus would live and minister throughout His lifetime.

Seven hundred years before Christ was born the Prophet Isaiah Prophesied that the identity and mission of the Messiah were linked with the geographical area of Galilee – specifically the “Borderlands” of the Galilee of the Gentiles in Upper Galilee – the tribal land of Zebulun and the tribal land of Naphtali that God had held in contempt. 

Isaiah 9:1-2 ¹ But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish [for with judgment comes the promise of salvation]. In earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He will make them honored [by the presence of the Messiah], by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

²The people who walk in [spiritual] darkness

Will see a great Light;

Those who live in the dark land,

The Light will shine on them.  Amplified Bible

On Earth as in Heaven:  In the above text I placed an emphasis on different geographical regions because as Christians we know that there is always a spiritual dimension to earthly things. One is not inconsistent with the other as one cannot exist without the other.  Anyone who has read the Bible, starting with Genesis all the way through Revelation, knows that from the beginning of time, geography has played an important part in determining the world as we know it today.  Without a doubt, our Biblical past has and continues to have a bearing on the history of mankind. 

Isaiah’s Prophecy about Jesus the Galilean is key to understanding present-day events in the Galilee and the Church worldwide.  The geographical location where the events in this book that occurred at the “Gate of the Good Fence” in Metulla, Israel’s northernmost town, is in accordance with Isaiah’s Prophecy that Christ’s life and ministry would be tied to the Galilee where He spent His life and where His public ministry began at the age of thirty.  For  those reasons we need to keep in mind the many Scriptures in the New Testament that echo Isaiah’s prophecy which tells us that Christ was a Galilean, and keep Isaiah’s Prophecy in mind when reading this book as Isaiah’s Prophecy is still relevant not only to the present-day events in the Galilee but the Church, worldwide, as well.

Geography plays an important role in the life of Christ as it fulfills Geographical Prophecies:  Matthew 2:13-15; Matthew 2:1-6; Matthew 2:23 and Matthew 4:12-17 are four examples of Prophecies that specifically linked Christ to a specific geographical area that were fulfilled in His lifetime. 

Jesus' Galilean Ministry was a Fulfillment of Prophecy:  The Apostle Matthew reveals that Christ’s move from Nazareth to Capernaum was in fulfillment of Messianic prophecy – Matthew 4:12-17.

Matthew 4:12-16 ¹² When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, he left Judea and returned to Galilee. ¹³ He went first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. ¹⁴ This fulfilled what God said through the prophet Isaiah: ¹⁵ “In the land of Zebulun and of Naphtali, beside the sea, beyond the Jordan River, in Galilee where so many Gentiles live, ¹⁶ the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.”  NLT

Without a doubt, geography is fundamental to our understanding of the Bible and how geography relates to the events here on earth.  Without a doubt, the geographical area where I was born and raised for the first 17 years of my life was spiritually significant and has had, and continues to have, a bearing on my life as it was a foreshadowing of my Apostolic Calling and standing in the Gates of the Enemy in many different geographical areas – not just Israel.

The Spiritual Aspects of Geography:  For many, religion and geography seem to have little in common with one another.  However, quite the contrary!  Upon a closer examination of the Scriptures, since the creation of time, beginning with Genesis when God created the “Heavens and the Earth,” God has been weaving His Kingdom purposes and plan of salvation into the geography of the world – hence, the spiritual aspects of the historical events that take place inside each particular geographical area.

God is Creator of Heaven and the Earth:  Genesis 1:  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth:  From the beginning God made a connection between the “Spiritual” (the heavens) and “Geography” (the natural features – the characteristics of the earth).

Present-day Israel:  The Israelites continue to believe in the Promise that God made to Abraham thousands of years ago and have fought many battles over the very land that God showed Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15 and that Jesus walked on.

See Chapter 2 for a more detailed account of the Spiritual Aspects of the Geographical Boundaries that God established for each nation here on earth and the Spiritual Aspects of why we as families and individuals live where we do.  Throughout this book I make the connection between the Gateway of the Enemy and the Borders of Deuteronomy 32:8 as both the Gateway of the Enemy and Borders are of the utmost importance as it relates to current events and will continue to do so until Christ returns on a personal level as well as a national level.

That brings me back to the Purpose of this Book and that is to be a Witness unto Jesus Christ.  It is my Witness unto Jesus Christ that I have recorded for my sons and daughters that have yet to be born.

Psalm 68:11 The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host.  Amplified Bible

Throughout each journey I kept the Faith, Overcame the many Obstacles and Stayed Focused on the Race God set out for me by keeping my eyes on Jesus.  Hebrews 12:1-2; 2, Timothy 4:7

I have Written down for the Generations to come that the Gates of the Enemy, Spiritual Borders and Spiritual Warfare are as Relevant today as they were when the Bible was Written – It has been recorded that a People yet to be Created will Praise the LORD. 

Psalm 102:18 teaches that it is important to always to keep future generations in mind and this Book has been Written and Recorded with Psalm 102:18 in mind.

My Prayer is that just as the Lord has Established the Work of my Hands that the Lord will establish the work of the hands of my Sons and Daughters.  Psalm 90:16-17 is an echo of Psalm 102:18, “Lord let my Sons and Daughters Carry on the Work You called me to.”

My Prayer is that just as the Lord Established the work of my hands that the Lord will Establish the Work of the hands of my Sons and Daughters.  It has been Recorded and Published for future generations that God’s Mercy and Faithfulness is new every morning and that those who hope in Him will never be disappointed!

As a note, The particular events that happened in one specific period of time is not limited to any particular chapter as one period of time has a bearing on the events in another period of time.  And, for that reason, to illustrate how all events and time periods have a bearing on each other, I include more than one time period in the same chapter as they all relate to one another.  And, for that reason there are times that I repeat myself throughout this book.  However, there is another reason for repeating myself apart from the above mentioned reasons. 

Keeping Ecclesiastes 1:11 in mind that people don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, that no one will remember what we are doing now, like the Apostle Peter, I want to take every opportunity to remind the readers of the specific truths of certain things that I felt the Holy Spirit stressed in my spirit.  Given that the spiritual truths of gateways of the enemy are not well understood within the Church, repetition also serves as an effective way to help the reader to “connect the dots” between the Gateways of the Enemy and the spiritual importance of Spiritual Borders as defined in God’s Word and the major themes presented herein.

2 Peter 1:12-21 ¹² Therefore, I will always remind you about these things—even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught. ¹³ And it is only right that I should keep on reminding you as long as I live. ¹⁴ For our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that I must soon leave this earthly life, ¹⁵ so I will work hard to make sure you always remember these things after I am gone. ¹⁶ For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes ¹⁷ when He received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice from the majestic glory of God said to Him, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings Me great joy.” ¹⁸ We ourselves heard that voice from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. ¹⁹ Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts. ²⁰ Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, ²¹ or from human initiative. Every Man and Woman has a History – Our very life is a Tale to be Told

Our Years here on Earth are Likened to a Tale that is to be Told – and we are the Story Tellers – Psalm 90:9

Psalm 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. KJV

Like my Scottish Forebears the Tales that I have Written about are based on my own Personal Experiences which are directly related to my Spiritual Experiences and written to the Glory of God.  

Pages 1-61 is a brief summary that provides an overview of the Tale I have to Tell.  Pictures and Documentation are included.

The House of Skene:  My Scottish Forebears were Imprisoned for their Christian Faith to the Point of Death 350 years ago.  Their last name, “Skene,” was a reference to the Feast of Tabernacles and the Presence of God in their lives, and so it is with me.  God’s presence in my life is part of my Spiritual DNA and in the context of Psalm 90:9, it is part of the Tale I have to Tell – it is the story of my life.

Over 350 years ago my Scottish Forefather Alexander Skene, while still in prison for his faith, along with George Keith co-authored a Book, "The Way Cast Up, And the Stumbling-blocks removed from before the feet of those, who were seeking the way to Zion, with their faces thitherward.”  Jeremiah 50:5

The Way to Zion:  To set their faces "thitherward" indicates that it is because of their steadfastness of purpose that God's Remnant will not be turned aside by any difficulties that they may encounter on their pilgrimage to Jerusalem.  And now, over 350 years later and according to God’s will for my life, thanks be to God who has removed all the obstacles in my path, I will once again make my way to Zion.  The year 2025 will mark over a dozen pilgrimages that I have made to Jerusalem where I will once celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles alongside the Jewish people. 

My Scottish Forebears wrote many articles, letters, poems and books about their love for Israel and what it meant to serve the Lord.  And, this Book is about the spiritual aspects of God's Faithfulness to the "House o Skene" of which I am Blessed to be a Daughter.

While in prison my Scottish Forebear wrote a book where he referenced the Prophet Jeremiah who tells us that those who were seeking the Lord their God asked the way to Zion with their faces thitherward.  And, so it was with my Scottish Forebear who had set his face thitherward towards Jerusalem.  That his face was turned towards Jerusalem reveals my Scottish Forebear’s steadfastness of purpose, not to be turned aside by any difficulties on the way to Jerusalem.  It means that during his time of imprisonment that my Scottish Forebear often thought of Jerusalem in the depth of his captivity (Psalm 137:1)  that he longed to be in Zion and that he was determined to go there. 

Jeremiah 50:4-5 ⁴ In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God. ⁵ They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten. God will Show Mercy and Loving Kindness to Thousands of the Sons and Daughters of those who love Him with all their Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength  (Exodus 20:6)

I am one of those Thousands who Bears Witness to the Biblical Truths of Exodus 20:6

In the context of Psalm 90:9, God’s Mercy and Loving Kindness is part of the Tale I have to Tell – God’s Mercy and Loving Kindness and Faithfulness to the Truths of Exodus 20:6 is key to the story of my life. God’s presence in my life is of the utmost importance to the story of my life.  The Apostle Paul tells us that if we boast we should boast in the Lord, and, it is because of God’s faithfulness, loving kindness and presence in my life that I feel my story is worth telling.  1 Corinthians 1:31

A Story to Tell:  My Story begins with my Pilgrimage to Israel’s Galilee in October 2023 where Jesus spent 30 of His 33 years of life here on earth.  More specifically, my Tale begins with my pilgrimage to Metulla located in the Galilee and the northernmost town in Israel.

Hamas, the Iranian-Backed Terrorist Organization, attacked Israel while I was on the Border Israel shares with Lebanon, a Stronghold of Hezbollah, another Iranian-Backed Terrorist Organization: The Tale I want to Tell begins on October 7, 2023 because while I was in Metulla in the north of Israel, Hamas, the Iranian -backed Terrorist Group, attacked Israel in the south of Israel.  And, on that same day while I was still in Metulla, Israel’s Prime Minister declared that the State of Israel was at war with Hamas.

Chapter 1:  Introduction

Let it be Recorded that the Spiritual Gates, the Gates of the Enemy, and the Spiritual Borders that God has called me to Stand in are as Relevant Today as they were when the Bible was Written.  Psalm 102:18 teaches that it is important to always keep future generations in mind, to leave a record of God’s faithfulness and His Loving kindness for a people yet to be born that they will Praise the Lord.

Jesus' Galilean Ministry was a Fulfillment of Prophecy

The Voice of Hope:  It was here on the war-torn battlefields of Lebanon, against all odds, that George Otis and Major Haddad built a radio station that broadcast “The Voice of Hope” – the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout south Lebanon that is now heard on every continent in the world – fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ

The Voice of Hope is another good work God began in George Otis and is continuing to this day down by the Sea of Galilee where the Voice of Hope is being broadcast

The Book of Jude:  The Book of Jude brings to mind what Psalm 102:18 teaches us:  “Let it be Written for the Generations to come”:  Like Jude I will always share and write about the Gospel of Jesus Christ – that is my heart – to share our common Salvation with other Believers and what Christ has done for us.  However we can’t ignore the Biblical truth that Satan and the Kingdom of Darkness exist because Satan will surely work through those who are disobedient and will oppose the Spirit-led Believer.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Chapter 2:  God Established the Boundaries for each Nation here on Earth and these Boundaries have a Spiritual Aspect as the Boundaries God Established for each nation were According to the Sons of God” (Deuteronomy 32:8), and we know from Job 2:1-2 the Sons of God were Angels

On Earth as in Heaven:  It’s important to note that Deuteronomy 32:8 is one of several Scriptures that makes the “Spiritual Connection” between Heaven and the Boundaries of the nations here on Earth.

Daniel 10 echoes the account of the Spiritual Borders in Deuteronomy 32:8.

The Border between Israel and Lebanon and the Border between Israel and Gaza are “Spiritual Borders” as well as Land Borders:

These Geographical Boundaries established by God not only separate the 12 Tribes of Israel from the 12 Nations of Ishmael – The Geographical Boundaries established by God between Israel and the Nations of Ishmael separates the Ideologies and Religious Beliefs of Islam from Judaism.

Which begs the question:  if God Established the Borders of each nation on Earth – what happens both “spiritually” and here on earth when men here on earth, like Sykes and Picot who represented England and France, the superpowers at the time, redrew the boundaries of nations in the Middle East as they did after World War I according to the political interests of their respective countries – completely disregarding what Scripture reveals about Borders let alone the interests and welfare of those living within the boundaries they redrew?

Scripture Placed a Spiritual Significance on the Borders of Tyre and Sidon located in Present-day Lebanon.

October 11, 2022:  On October 11, 2022, the day Israel and Lebanon unexpectedly signed the “Historic Maritime Agreement,” which was a Border Agreement, albeit, a Border located in the Mediterranean Sea, the Lord opened the door for me to literally go to Metulla, Israel located in the Galilee and stand at the Land Border that Israel shares with Lebanon

Chapter 3:  The Armor of Satan:

Pride is part of Satan’s Armor.  In James 4:5-7 the Apostle James warns the Believers that God resists the Proud.”  More to the Point:  If we want to resist the devil, we had better make sure God is not resisting us.

The “Armor of Satan”:  The most important piece of Satan’s Armor is “Pride” because Satan knows that it is a Biblical Principle that God has to Resist the Proud and that includes a “Proud Christian.”

Chapter 4:  Scripture reveals that Jesus IS the Voice of Hope:  George Otis hung his Banner that read, “The Voice of Hope,” at the Good Fence Border Crossing Israel shares with Lebanon.  And it was here at the “Good Fence” Border Crossing in Metulla that the Beginning of the Walls of Hostility between the IDF and the SLA began to come down.

It was here at the “Good Fence” Border Crossing in Metulla, the Official Border Crossing Between Israel and Lebanon, also known as the “Fatima Gate,” that God used the “Fatima Gate,” the Gate of the enemy that the Muslims named in honor of the prophet Mohammed’s daughter – for good.

There is Irony concerning the Stone at the “Good Fence Memorial” with an Image of the Banner that reads “The Voice of Hope”:

Christ; He is the object of our Hope, and Christ is the anchor of the believer's Hope.

Jesus is the Gatekeeeper of all Gatekeepers.  John 10:7, 9  Jesus said, “I am the Gate” (some translations read “door”).  Other Examples of “Spiritual Gates” include:

Operation Peace for the Galilee:  Operation Peace for the Galilee produced an unlikely partnership between the South Lebanese Army (SLA), a Christian Militia, and the nation of Israel that was the result of the conflicts that both Israel and the SLA had with the PLO and the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization that were operating from within Lebanon’s southern border.

When the “Fatima Gate” became the “Good Gate” and “Good Fence Crossing” – God used the Gate of the Enemy for Good

George Otis received a rebuke from both Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Rabin for Ignoring the Plight of the Christians in south Lebanon:

The “Voice of Hope” radio station was always in the crosshairs of the terrorist organizations operating inside southern Lebanon.

The Lord Turned the Battle to the Gate:  Through the Compassion of a young Israeli Soldier for a Lebanese mother and her sick child, Major Haddad’s love for the Jewish people, and George Otis’ love for both the Jewish people and the Lebanese people, the Lord gave each of them the Courage and the Strength to Turn the Battle to the Gate where the Dividing Walls of Hostility started to come down!  (Isaiah 28:5-6; Ephesians 2:14-18)

Chapter 5:  Jesus the “Voice of Hope” said, “I AM the Gate”:

George Otis, whose Hope was in Jesus Christ, was Willing to Endure whatever Suffering may come (Luke 9:23) and Picked up his Cross and Folllowed in the Footsteps of Christ who IS the Voice of Hope and who said, “I AM the Gate.”  Like Christ, George Otis left the Borders of Israel in the Upper Galilee and Crossed through the “Fatima Gate” at the “Good Fence Border Crossing,” which was much more than a Secular Gate to George Otis, and crossed over into the Borders of Lebanon even as the War was Waging on both sides of the Border!

The Lord gave Strength to George Otis and Major Haddad to Turn the Battle at the Gate of the Enemy away from the Gate:  The Fatima Gate/Good Fence Border Crossing that the Lebanese and the IDF passed through on a daily basis was more than just a Border Gate that Israel shared with Lebanon – it was a Spiritual Gate and Crossing.  For George Otis and Major Haddad the Fatima Gate was the Gate of the Enemy where the Lord turned the battle to the gate then away from the gate.  Isaiah 28:5-6

The Borders of Tyre and Sidon, Lebanon, then and now:  Scripture reveals that the past is prologue to the future and that history merely repeats itself. (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).  And so it was with George Otis when he crossed over from Israel into the Borders of Lebanon.

Biblical Tyre and Sidon were part of the Promised Land:  According to Judges 3:1-6, God used the Lebanon Conflict to Prove and Teach the younger generation of Israelites how to fight because God knew that Israel's enemies would always be at war with them.

Elijah, the Galilean Prophet, and the Sidonian Woman:  And, so it was with Elijah, the Galilean Prophet, who came from Gilead located “Beyond the Jordan” when God sent him to stay with a Sidonian widow.  While there the Sidonian widow witnessed the power of God when miraculously her flour and oil never ran out during the drought, and when Elijah raised her son from the dead.

George Otis and Major Haddad were a Type of Joseph who, like Joseph, had the Voice of Hope for the Jewish People:  Just as God put Joseph in the position he was in, God brought both George Otis and Major Haddad to the Positions they were in for His Higher Purposes.  And, history bears witness that few men were their equals.

Chapter 6:  The Israeli Security Zone of 1982-2000

The Security Zone:  United in their efforts, the IDF and the South Lebanese Army (SLA), a Christian Militia, realized that the only way to stop the PLO attacks against Israel was to create a buffer zone along Israel’s northern border they shared with Lebanon.  The idea was that Israel would create a “Security Zone” inside Lebanon that would separate the northern border towns from terrorists residing in southern Lebanon, and at the same time, Israel’s presence in the Security Zone would provide the SLA with a military presence in southern Lebanon that was most welcome by the SLA and all those living in the south of Lebanon who were being persecuted by the PLO and later Hezbollah simply because they were Christians.  Hence, the SLA allowed Israel to create and maintain a Security Zone within Lebanon’s borders that would benefit both Israel and southern Lebanon.

Security Zone Maps:  The following two maps show the lay of the land – where the border exists between Israel and Lebanon and where the “Security Zone” was actually located.

1.  The first map shows “Banias,” the modern name for Caesarea Philippi where Jesus proclaimed into the spiritual realm that the gates of hell would not prevails against His Church. (Matthew 16).

2.  The second map shows the location of Mount Hermon, a prominent mountain in Scripture.  (Psalm 29:6, Song of Solomon 4:8, Psalm 133:3)

Chapter 7:  The Spiritual Battle:  The Battle between the IDF and Hezbollah is much more than a “Border Battle” being fought at the Borders that Israel shares with Lebanon.

The Battle is a “Spiritual Battle” and man’s opponents are the Spirit Prince and Kings of Persia (Daniel 10), the spirits over modern-day Iran (ancient Persia) that began when Lebanon allowed Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, to set up a stronghold just inside the Borders of Lebanon that surround Israel on three sides.

Ephesians 6:10-12 describes the Spiritual Battle between Israel and Hezbollah:

In Luke 10:17-20 Christ turns the focus of the seventy-two disciples to what He saw happening in the Spiritual Realm as they were battling the demonic here on earth.  Christ saw Satan falling!

Hezbollah was a Spiritual Foe as well as a Physical Foe:  Hezbollah was more than a physical foe – they were a spiritual foe under the influence of the Satanic Spirit Prince and Satanic Spirit Kings of Persia (Daniel 10), satanic spirits whose goal was, and still is, to thwart God’s will and purposes for the nation of Israel.

Twenty-Two Years Later, another Divine Appointment at the “Border” Israel shares with Lebanon:  Likewise, when the Lord sent me all the way from America to stand at the “Border” Israel shares with Lebanon on October 11, 2022, no one knew until October 11, 2022 if and when Israel and Lebanon would actually sign their “Historic Maritime Agreement.”

Chapter 8:  Iranian Embassy:  On May 22, 2000 I Stood in the “Gateway of the Enemy” at the Iranian Embassy in Washington, D.C. Interceding for the Safety of the Israeli Defense Forces as they began to withdrew from the Security Zone in Lebanon through the “Fatima Gate” back onto Israeli Soil – Never to Return:

It was God’s Will when I Stood in the “Gate of the Enemy” at the Iranian Embassy on May 22, 2000 to Intercede for the Safety of the Israeli Defense Forces from the threats and attacks of Hezbollah as they were “Unexpectedly” leaving the Security Zone in Lebanon for the last time bringing an end to the 18 year presence of the Israeli Defense Forces in Lebanon.  As they left Lebanon, the IDF passed through the Fatima Gate, at the time the Official Border Crossing located in Metulla where Israel shares a Border with Lebanon.  As the IDF passed through the “Fatima Gate, the Gate of the Enemy,” back onto Israeli soil – it would be for the last time – they left to never return

The Threat:  Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization whose Motto is “Death to Israel.”  The “Spiritual” Connection between the Iranian Embassy and the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla, Israel, is “Hezbollah,” a Proxy of Iran, whose Sole Purpose for Existence is to Carry out the Goals of Iran:  to Destroy Israel.

Mossad, Israel’s Intelligence Agency:   On the morning of May 22, 2000, Mossad, Israel’s Intelligence Agency, met with Prime Minister Barak with information that Hezbollah, Iran’s Proxy who had a stronghold inside Lebanon’s border, had made plans to create an Inferno at the Fatima Gate on July 7, 2000 the day they as well as the International Community thought the IDF would be leaving the Security Zone inside the Borders of Lebanon for the last time – never to return.

Spiritual Warfare at the Iranian Embassy in the United States on the Night the IDF withdrew from the Security Zone:  And, as a spiritual offspring of Abraham,, when I stood in the Doorway of the Iranian Embassy, I too was possessing the gates of my spiritual enemies just as the Lord told Abraham.  It is a well known fact that when Diplomats are inside their Embassy and grounds they consider themselves as being on their own countries soil.   In other words, when I was at the Iranian Embassy on May 22-23, 2000, spiritually speaking, it was as good as actually being in Iran.

The Biblical Basis of Why Documentation is Important

Chapter 9:  What is God’s Point of View concerning the Ongoing Wars between Israel and Gaza (Hamas), as well as the Present-Day Conflicts between Israel and Lebanon (Hezbollah)?

First of all, War was never Part of God’s Plan for man:  Scripture reveals that war was never God’s plan for mankind, but became a necessity because of Israel’s enemies – and Israel has many enemies. To understand why God allowed the conflict between Israel and Lebanon, and Gaza and Israel we need only search the Scriptures regarding Israel’s relationship with the ancient Philistines and ancient Lebanon, because therein lies the answer as to why God allowed the conflict between Israel and Lebanon and Israel and Gaza to be fought in our own lifetime.  The Scriptures, specifically Judges 3:1-6, Joel 3, Ezekiel 25:15-17, Ezekiel 26; Ezekiel 27 and Ezekiel 28 are six very specific Scriptures that are key to understanding God’s point of view concerning the ongoing wars between Israel and two of their enemies who are constantly attacking Israel:  Gaza (Hamas) and Lebanon (Hezbollah).

Joel 3:1-4 Warnings Concerning: Lebanon, Gaza, England, France, and the International Community (including the United States) proposing a Two-State Solution

The Mindset of Man for a Two-State Solution is Madness.

We should not be so bold as to question God regarding the war between Gaza and Israel.  However, we may be bold enough to ask God for wisdom and understanding regarding wars from His viewpoint;

To this day the offspring of the ancient Philistines and Sidonians are thorns in Israel’s side because their ancestors did not drive them out of the lands of the Philistines and Sidonians that God gave to them.  Instead of driving them out, they let them stay and lived among them – hence they remain a thorn in Israel’s side to this day.

Wars from a Biblical Perspective is the only Perspective that Matters:

Not that all the suffering of the present-day war Israel is fighting with both Lebanon and Hamas is good, however, God will use it for His good.

War with Hezbollah became a reality for me after being in Metulla on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Israel in the south and Hezbollah, coming to the aid of Hamas, started their cross-border missile attacks on Metulla and the Galilee while I was still in the Galilee.

Israel’s Unfaithfulness:  It was because of ancient Israel’s Unfaithfulness to God that He left the above nations that Israel failed to drive out to be a thorn in Israel’s side.  Had the Israelites been faithful to God, there would have been no need for the Israelites to learn the art of war.  Not that the wars between the above mentioned nations and Israel were good, however, God was and is able to use wars for good in spite of Israel’s unfaithfulness – even Israel’s present-day unfaithfulness.

God did not cause the evil of wars; however, God did promise to cause everything to work together for the good and in that we have hope.  All things, even wars, far from harming us will work together for good to them that love God, being called according to His purposes. (Romans 8:28)

Without a doubt, I am “Pro-Israel” through-and-through.  However, being pro-Israel doesn’t mean that I blindly support policies set forth by the nation of Israel that are not in agreement with Scripture or that are illogical, irresponsible, and counterproductive to the well-being of the Jewish people and the holy city of Jerusalem.

The Game Changer: the "Iron Dome."  The "Iron Dome" was not just an invention that was able to intercept incoming rockets from Gaza into Israel.  There is a Spiritual aspect as well.

The Root Cause of the Israeli-Gaza Conflict: Gaza’s Perpetual Hatred for Israel

Chapter 10:  Jesus told us that we are not to be Troubled by Wars and Threats of War because Wars must Happen until the End of Time – until the End of Time Nation will Rise up Against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom – Matthew 24:4-14

What!  There will always be war until the end of time!  Do we dare say to God – surely not when Scripture tells us it is according to God’s will.  History bears witness to the Spiritual Truths of Matthew 24:4-8.  The United States of America and the International Community are always initiating wars or threats of war for a multitude of reasons, just pick one, which is ironic because these same countries want us to believe that they are advocates of world peace.  That too is ironic because the advice that the United States of America and International Community are giving Israel as to what they should do to attain peace in the Middle East is opposed to God’s Will for Israel.  If Israel gives in to the pressures of the International Community and gives Jerusalem to Gaza, it only leads to “more wars” and unrest in the Middle East.

The “Historic Maritime Agreement” signed on October 11, 2022 averted a temporary escalation of war, but did not bring peace between Lebanon and Israel as predicted by the International Community

The “Historic Maritime Agreement:  Lebanon did not sign the “Historic Maritime Agreement” with Israel for the hope of finding peace – Lebanon’s Goal was to Restore their Former Glory as the “Gateway to the Sea.” (Ezekiel 26)

Colonial England and France Coveted Land in the Middle East that was not theirs:  Nations, of their own free will, choose to rise up against another nation because of their evil desires and insatiable appetite for what belongs to other nations.  History bears witness that Colonial England and France were two such nations.  They wanted what they didn’t have so they schemed and killed to get what was not theirs; so they fought and waged war to take it away from others, including land that God gave to Israel and those living in the Middle East.  (Matthew 24, James 4)

Like England and France, Ancient Lebanon Redrew Boundaries – they also Extended their Boundaries into the Sea – Ezekiel 27:1-4

As Unthinkable as it is, King Solomon gave King Hiram of Tyre Twenty Cities of the Promised Land in the Galilee that God had given to Israel:

The Sykes-Picot Agreement is at the Heart of the Conflicts between Israel and the Palestinians and is what led to the Establisment of the Security Zone inside Lebanon’s borders:

Chapter 11:  The Sphere of Influence that Sykes of England and Picot of France wielded over the Middle East and the International Community at the end of World War I can be compared to the Vine of Sibmah that the Prophet Jeremiah spoke of in Jeremiah 48:32 whose Tendrils of Influence stretched across the sea Spreading its Poisonous Influence, thus ruining many Vineyards in the Middle East both then and now in 2024.

What!  It’s 2024 and even today the Poison from the Sykes-Picot continues to spread throughout the world.

The Poisonous Vines of the Sykes-Picot Agreement are continuing to spread their poison because no nation has ever laid Axe to the Roots of the Sykes-Picot Agreement:  No one speaks of the Sykes-Picot today; however, that Agreement is at the “root” of the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East because no one has laid axe to the root.  But, cursed is the one who moves his neighbor’s landmark and those who encourage them to do so. Deuteronomy 27:17

The Sykes-Picot Agreement was a Cursed Document:  There is no doubt that the Sykes-Picot Agreement changed the course of history!  The Sykes-Picot Agreement was/is a “Cursed Document.”

Conflicting and Broken Promises: The Poisonous Vine of the Two-State Solution.

Chapter 12:  The Balfour Declaration of 1917 was a Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy

The Balfour Declaration was at the very Heart of the British Mandate and was a Fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy:  What was meant for evil, God used for the good of many people.  Even though the British Mandate was not in the best interest of those living in the Middle East, God used the “Balfour Declaration,” the very heart of the British Mandate, which was a by-product of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, to fulfill Biblical Prophecy to gather the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth and bring them back to the land God promised to them.

God used Lord Arthur James Balfour, a Christian Zionist and Britain’s Foreign Secretary, whose heart was different than Sykes, co-author of the Sykes-Picot Agreement, to write a letter to one of Britain’s most well-known and respected Jewish citizens, the renowned Lord Lionel Walter Rothschild, the President of the British Zionist Federation, publicly acknowledging that the British government supported the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine.

The Balfour Declaration was based on the Jews’ right to the Land of Israel as recorded in both the Old and New Testaments.  The Balfour Declaration was simply Prophecy coming to pass.

Cyrus, King of Persia:  And, this wasn’t the first time that God used a Gentile Nation and its leader to gather the Jews back to their homeland.

Thousands of years ago, God used King Cyrus to issue a written “Decree” that allowed the Jewish people to return to Israel.  And, so it was with Lord Balfour whose Declaration was put in writing and became a legal document.

In Israel’s “Declaration of Independence,” Ben-Gurion points out that the establishment of a Jewish state in Eretz-Israel was recognized in the Balfour Declaration on November 2, 1917 and re-affirmed in the Mandate of the League of Nations.

On another occasion and in no uncertain terms, Ben-Gurion made it known to the entire world that God’s Bible is Israel’s Mandate – not the British Mandate nor the Balfour Declaration:

One of the things many Jewish people have trouble accepting is the fact that their God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – is the God of the Gentiles as well as the Jewish people, and that at times He will use a Gentile Nation or one of its government officials to fulfill Biblical prophecies for the Jewish people.

The King’s Heart is in the Hands of the Lord.  Which begs the question:  what caused the British government to publicly back the Zionist dream of a national homeland for dispersed Jews to return to land they call Israel?  The reasons are multifaceted and not all are honorable.

The Christian Zionists and Jewish people beat the French and English at their own game:  The Sykes-Picot Agreement and the Balfour Declaration was a display of England’s greed at its worst;” however, the Christian Zionists and Jewish people beat the French and English at their own game, because the Balfour Declaration was Britain’s public declaration that the Jewish people had the right to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

The Balfour Declaration was Prophecy Coming to Pass – it was not only the rebirth of the nation of Israel but the rebirth of a people!

Likewise, the Voice of Hope, the Radio Station George Otis raised up on the war-torn battlefield of Lebanon, was Prophecy Coming to Pass:

Chapter 13: Religious Wars Fought in the name of Islam’s “most merciful allah” are “Un-Righteous” Wars

“Religious Wars” that are not “Virtuous” or “Moral” and who Misuse the Name of God are “Un-Righteous Wars.”  Christian Nations and Christians who Misuse the Name of God and Falsely Claim to be doing a Holy Service for God when they are not – these wars are also “Un-Righteous Wars.”

Religious Wars Fought in the name of Islam’s “most merciful allah” are Un-Righteous Wars:  History bears witness that the PLO, Hezbollah, and Hamas justify killing Jews.  During the Lebanon Conflict, the PLO and Hezbollah justified killing soldiers in the SLA and those Christians living in Lebanon simply because they were not Muslims – they were infidels .

Christians who kill other Christians in the Name of God are “Un-Righteous Wars”:  Vladimir Putin of Russia, the Catholic Crusades, and the Catholic Church’s Murder of the French Huguenots are examples of Un-Righteous Wars.

Hamas’ Goal for the Genocide of the Jewish People has never been a Secret:  Hamas’s founding documents made in the name of the “most Merciful allah” clearly shows its intentions concerning the genocide of the Jewish people.  Yet, upon listening to the International Community, whose minds have been blinded by Satan, one would think that Hamas is the victim.

Following are excerpts from “Hamas Covenant 1988” – The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement” made in the name of the most merciful allah that call for the obliteration of all Jewish people.

The “Lord of Heaven’s Armies that is the God of the Armies of Israel” will Prevail over Hezbollah – Lebanon’s Army of God.

Chapter 14: The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is the God of the Armies of Israel

1 Samuel 17:45 ⁴⁵ David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. NLT

On Earth as in Heaven – all Battles fought here on Earth are being fought in the Heavens at the same time.

Angels are referred to as stars in Job 38:7, Daniel 8:10, Jude 1:13, Revelation 1:20

The Mutual Respect between the IDF and the Christian SLA:  The Spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s Greatest Spiritual Ally because Christ’s death on the Cross broke down the Dividing Walls of Hostility making us one Body.  (Ephesians  2:14-18)  Spirit-led Christians like George Otis and SLA Major Haddad and his Christian Militia will always be Israel’s Most Trustworthy, Unshakable and Devoted Spiritual Allies.

The God of the Armies of Israel is His Name (1 Samuel 17:45):  At the same time, the IDF’s presence in the Security Zone provided the SLA and southern Lebanon with a much needed ally and a formidable military force that was much better equipped and trained than their militia.  And, God didn’t just provide the SLA with just any military – the Lord provided the SLA with the Greatest Military in all the earth – the very military that He is the Commander of.

Jehovah nissi: The following banner is more than just a banner that George Otis hung on the Good Fence/Gate – it was a Prophetic Banner that honored God as “Jehovah nissi.”  George Otis, those who worked with him, and Major Haddad all knew that God was truly their Banner, just as He was Moses’ Banner.  Yahweh was their Banner – God was their Jehovah nissi!

Chapter 15:  The “God of the Armies of Israel” Frustrated the Plans of Hezbollah who had Plans to create an Inferno when the Israeli Defense Forces Crossed through the Fatima Gate as they Withdrew from the Security Zone in Lebanon for the last time – never to return – on what they Believed would be on July 7, 2000. 1 Samuel 17:45

Just as the Lord revealed to the Prophet Elisha that the King of Syria was planning on Ambushing the Israelites – the Lord revealed to Mossad, the branch of the Israeli Intelligence Community that gathers military intelligence regarding Hezbollah, that Hezbollah was planning to Ambush the IDF on July 7th as they withdrew from Lebanon.

Even the IDF was Surprised at Barak’s Decision:  According to IDF soldier Brigadier General Amos Gilboa, the sudden change of plans even surprised Shaul Mofaz, the IDF’s Chief of Staff who almost fell off his chair when Prime Minister Barak ordered the withdrawal to begin that same night they met with Barak on May 22, 2000.  It wasn’t until 16 years later that the reason for the decision became public knowledge.

In Essence the Iranian Embassy is the “Persian Embassy”

Like the Prophet Elisha who Warned the King of Israel that the Syrians were Planning to Ambush the Israelis, we are to Walk by Faith and not by Sight:  It was by faith that I went to the Iranian Embassy and stood in the Gateway of My Enemies on May 22-23, 2000 and prayed for God, the God of Israel’s Army, to grant the IDF safe passage as they withdrew from Lebanon’s Security Zone and crossed back over into Israel through the “Fatima Gate” in Metulla back into the safety of Israel.

Spiritual Gates:  Spiritual gates or gateways are just as real as physical gates only they are discerned (seen and understood) spiritually.  There are several spiritual gates mentioned in the Bible, however, the one I want to include in this chapter is the “Gate of Heaven” because God revealed to Jacob that he was in the Gate of Heaven through a dream.

Chapter 16:  The Scriptural Account in Daniel 10 reveals that there is an Ongoing War in the Spiritual Realm between the spirit Prince of Persia (present-day Iran) who Stands Guard over Persia’s Borders, both in the Spiritual Realm as well as here on Earth, and Michael the Guardian Angel over Israel

The Spirit Prince of Persia is a Supernatural Power who, in the interests of Satan, was able to exercise his Influence over the Realm of Ancient Persia, which at the time, Ancient Persia was the World Power that Israel was then subject.  And, so it is today, in the interests of Satan, the spirit Prince of Persia exerts his influence over present-day Iran, the descendants of Ancient Persia.

Given that Hezbollah’s existence was/is possible because of Iran’s support, then we know from Daniel 10 that the Geographical Principalities, the Prince and Kings of Persia are the same Satanic spirits behind Hezbollah.

The IDF and SLA took their stand against Hezbollah here on Earth as the battle was also being fought in the Heavens:

There are two distinct aspects to the alliance between Iran and Hezbollah: 1) the Human Forces and 2) the Spiritual Forces operating behind them.

Chapter 17:  The Politics of Hell

What?  Christ identified Satan as “Prince of this World,” and if Satan is the “Prince of this World,” then that means Satan is a “Political Prince” – a “Political Devil.” The Biblical meaning of the word “prince” in the New Testament Scriptures that refer to Satan as a Prince refers to a political being, which means that Satan is a “Political Prince” – a “Political Devil.”  (John 12:31; John 16:11; 1 Corinthians 2:6-8)

Chapter 30:  While I was still in Metulla, two “Words of Knowledge” (Prophecies) that I recorded in Emails while still in America came to Pass after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his stunned nation: “Citizens of Israel, we are at War.”  I sent both of these Prophecies in Separate emails to myself before I left America:  One on August 17, 2023 and the other on November 16, 2022, long before leaving for the Galilee in September 2023.

Chapter 31:  On October 7, 2023 when Hamas Attacked Israel it was a Day of Evil:  October 7, 2023 was the Day of Evil when Hamas, after ten years of planning, attacked Israel.  And, on October 7, 2023, on the Day of Evil I put on the Whole Armor of God and I took my Stand on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” at Islam’s “Fatima Gate” located in Metulla on the Israeli – Lebanese Border where Iran via Hezbollah drew their “Front Line.”  Ephesians 6:10-17

It was here on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” where Iran, via Hezbollah, drew their “Front Line” at the “Fatima Gate” located in Metulla on the Israeli-Lebanese Border, on the day of evil, that I made an Hour-long Video at the “Good Fence Memorial” in Metulla, Israel.  The “Good Fence Memorial” was erected by the Israeli Government in 2021 to Honor the South Lebanon Army, the Christian Militia who came to the aid of the IDF in their battle against the Cross-Border attacks of the PLO and Hezbollah.  And, it is here on the “Front Line” at the “Good Fence Memorial” at the “Fatima Gate” that literally butts up to the Land Border that Israel shares with Lebanon that the Stones at the Memorial “Cry out in Praise of Jesus Christ” – hence the Video.

The significance of making the video at the Good Fence Memorial on the day Hamas attacked Israel is because the “Good Fence Memorial” is located at the “Fatima Gate” where Hezbollah holds anti-Israel demonstrations and throws symbolic stones from the “Fatima Gate” over onto Israeli soil in Metulla.

There were two specific reasons why God quickened me to go to Metulla, Israel in October 2023:

Following is what I read in its entirety at the Front Line of the “Good Fence Memorial” on October 7, 2023 on the same day that the Prime Minister of Israel declared that “Israel was at war.”

Chapter 32:  Citizens of Israel, we are at War.”

On October 7, 2023 while I was still in Metulla, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Stunned Nation, “Citizens of Israel, we are at War,” and the Israeli Defense Forces launched “Operation Swords of Iron” in response to Hamas’ October 7 attack against Israel.

The War in the Heavens – there is a Spiritual Aspect to the War between Israel and Hamas:  The War between Israel and Hamas cannot be understood without the understanding that there is a “Spiritual Aspect” to this war.

The Spiritual Aspects of Hamas:  So it is with the Israeli-Gaza Conflict – the war is a spiritual war as well as a war being fought here on earth.  It’s significant that according to Strong’s Number 2555 the Hebrew word for “Violence” and “Cruelty” that we find in the KJV is “Hamas.”

2023 – Operation “Swords of Iron”:  And, so it will be in Israel’s battle with Hamas and the modern-day Philistines of Gaza who harbor the same hatred for Israel as their forefathers.

Chapter 33:  I was Fighting my own Personal Battle on Two-Fronts at the same time that Israel was at War with Hamas.

While Israel was at War with Hamas in 2023, I was Fighting my own Personal “Two-Front Battle” in the Spiritual Realm and here on Earth.

The Kingdom of Darkness is at War with the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, and all Believers:

Just as Satan Attacked Jesus on Two-Fronts, he will attack the Believer on two fronts – hence, the Two-Front War Against Me:

“The Way Cast Up, And, the Stumbling-blockes removed from before the feet of those, who are seeking the way to ZION, with their faces thitherward” is the title of a book Alexander co-authored while still in prison:  I want to include the following comments about Alexander specifically about the above mentioned book that Alexander co-authored because what Alexander wrote over three hundred years ago holds true for my life.

Stumbling Blocks in my Path:  The enemy put many stumbling blocks in my path to try and keep me from going to Israel; however, God enabled me to overcome all the obstacles and I made my first of over a dozen trips to Israel in 2009.  Sadly, like those who put stumbling blocks in my Scottish forefathers’ path – those that put stumbling blocks in my path were from those who professed to be Christians.

Chapter 34:  On October 6, 2023, when Hamas “Made the Decision” to Attack Israel on October 7, 2023, “It was a Day of the Worst kind of Evil”

After ten years of planning, Hamas made the decision to attack Israel on October 7, 2023.  And, on the day of evil when Hamas made the decision to attack Israel, I put  on the Whole Armor of God and I took my Stand on the “Front Line” at Islam’s “Fatima Gate” located in Metulla on the Israeli-Lebanese Border where Iran, via Hezbollah, drew their Front Line.  Genesis 22:17; Ephesians 6:10-17

When Americas’ Lawmakers signed the Treaty of Tripoli in 1797 with the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary to Secure Commercial Shipping Rights and Protect American Ships in the Mediterranean that the Barbary Pirates were attacking, America’s Lawmakers assured the Muslim Pirates that hated Christians that the government of the United States of America was not in any sense founded on the percepts of Christianity.

The Poisonous Vines of the Treaty of Tripoli:  The Treaty of Tripoli can be compared to the Vines of Sibmah that the Prophet Jeremiah spoke of in Jeremiah 48:32 whose Tendrils of Influence stretched across the sea Spreading its Poisonous Influence, thus ruining many Vineyards here in America both then and now in 2024.

Chapter 36:  In 2009 President Obama Cited the Treaty of Tripoli in remarks he made while in Egypt to Assure the Muslim nations that the United States of America is not nor ever was a Christian Nation.  And, to add insult to injury, when President Obama quoted from Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli President Obama Elevated Islam to the level of Christianity.

Chapter 38:  The Highway to Hell is Broad and its Gate is Wide No longer.  After Hiding Behind their Proxies –in an Unprecedented move – on April 13, 2024 Iran came out of the Shadows and Travelling on the Highway to Hell, made their First-Ever Direct Military Attack on Israel.

The Highway to Hell:  On April 13, 2024 Iran joined the spirits operating behind their proxies and travelled alongside these spirit beings on the Highway to Hell that ran from Iran to Gaza to the “Front Line” of Lebanon’s Fatima Gate in their First-Ever Direct Military Attack on Israel.  This Unprecedented move was Iran’s Direct Declaration of War against Israel.

Introduction to Chapters 39 and 40:  The Galilee October 1, 2024

October 1, 2024 was the start of a New Stage of the War between Israel and Hezbollah, part of the Axis of Evil who shares a Border with Israel in Israel’s Northernmost Borders.  This new stage of the war will usher in a New Type of War, “Trial by Combat,” that will forever alter the way Israel will fight their wars in the Middle East.  A new type of war that could reshape a new Middle East

Chapter 39:  “Trial by Combat” is a Type of “Spiritual Warfare” that Israel is forced to engage in here on earth when their Spiritual Enemies REFUSE to negotiate.

It is a Biblical Principle that Israel cannot win a Spiritual Battle via Negotiations or in a Courtroom.   More to the point:  Israel can only win their present day Spiritual Battles with Hezbollah and Hamas on the battlefield – hence “Trial by Combat”.  And, in “Trial by Combat” the God of Israel Himself will judge between Israel and their enemies as to who the land in question belongs to.  Judges 11:26-27 is the Scriptural Basis for “Trial by Combat”

Just as Ishmael mocked Isaac, Nasrallah mocked Israel and Benny Gantz, the last Israeli Defense Soldier to pass through the “Fatima Gate” in May 2000 as the Israeli Defense Forces withdrew from the Security Zone inside Lebanon.

Nasrallah’s “Holy War:”  “Conquest of the Galilee” going through the Fatima Gate (the Broad Gate) and travel on the Highway to Hell (the Broad Path) to Conquer Jerusalem

The “Fatima Gate” was Nasrallah’s “Front Line” of attack on his way to Invade and Conquer Jerusalem:  The “Fatima Gate” was Hezbollah’s “Front Line” – it was here at the “Fatima Gate” that Nasrallah and Hezbollah would begin to execute their plans to “Conquer the Galilee” on their way to “Conquer Jerusalem.”.

After locking the Fatima Gate in May 2000 – in 2024 the IDF unlocked the Fatima Gate and took their battle with Hezbollah to the battleground inside Lebanon and enforced UN Resolution 1701 pushing Hezbollah away from the northern border to north of Lebanon’s Litani River – the Fatima Gate was now Israel’s Front Line of Attack.

Hezbollah and Iran’s Plans to Invade and Conquer the Galilee and Jerusalem were nothing more than “Vain Imaginations” and Futile Thinking.

Chapter 41:  The Spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s most Faithful Ally!

It is a Biblical Command that we are to Bless Israel and why shouldn’t we?  First of all, the Jews gave us Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and Secondly, the Jewish people were entrusted with the oracles of God Romans 3:2.

Like Major Haddad and his Christian Militia, the Spirit-led Christian will always be Israel’s most faithful ally!

My Tale has been Recorded and my Tale that began with my birth in the Gateway to the Coal Fields of West Virginia where the Coal Miners like my father and brother who worked in the Darkness of the Shadow of Death was a foreshadowing of the pilgrimage I would make to the Gates of the Enemy in the Galilee where those, like the Coal Miners in West Virginia, walk about in Darkness in the land of the Shadow of Death.

There is a Progression in the Believers Walk:  It is only those who listen to the teaching of Jesus Christ, who will make that Progression (Matthew 13:8-17; 1 Corinthians 3:1-23; Luke 12:48; 1 Timothy 4:15)

Chapter 43:  With the “Steadfastness of Purpose”

With the “Steadfastness of Purpose,” not to be turned aside by the many difficulties I faced on my way to Israel to celebrate Sukkot 2025 (the Feast of Tabernacles), I set my face toward Israel until I reached the Western Wall on God’s Holy Hill on Mount Zion.  Already, words that I had previously spoken into the Spiritual Realm at the Gates of Hell and the Fatima Gate just days earlier that Hamas would be humiliated (Jeremiah 47:5) had come to pass with Hamas agreeing to a ceasefire and hostages to be returned.  However, given Hamas’ history of reneging on commitments, I continued to pray for the safe release of all hostages.  As I was praying for the hostages’ release at the Western Wall, I was blessed when I overheard a woman there say that the first seven hostages had indeed been released this very day!
