Chapter 28:  What!  In the End Times when Jesus returns it will be as in the Days of Noah when God destroyed the earth by a flood because the Giants that were living here on earth at the time were spreading “Hamas,” the Hebrew word for Violence, throughout the earth – Matthew 24:32-39

The Masoretic Hebrew Text:  Most of Christianity’s English translations of the Old Testament, such as the King James Version, the English Standard Version, the New American Standard Bible, the New International Version and so on were all taken from the Masoretic Hebrew Text, which reads, “hamas” instead of the English word “violence.”

What?  According to the Masoretic Hebrew text, the source used when translating the Old Testament Scriptures from Hebrew to English, the Hebrew word, “hamas,” in Genesis 6:11 was translated by the English translators to read “violence.”

Given that Hamas is the name of the Terrorist Organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, whose only goal is the destruction of the State of Israel as well as Christianity, and who is spreading their violence throughout the earth, even as I am writing this chapter – this should give us cause to pause and consider:

  • We should pause and consider that Hamas is the name of the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023
  • This is significant because Christ prophesied that He would return when the earth was once again as it was in the days of Noah when hamas was spread throughout the earth – a violence absence of any fear of God
  • That is exactly what we are witnessing in our own generation: a Violence that we have never seen before being spread by Hamas throughout the earth, even here in America
  • We are witnessing Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, spreading its violence throughout the earth, even here in America – a violence whose only goal is the destruction and misery of the Jewish people.

More to the Point:  Given Jesus’ Prophecy in Matthew 24:32-39, we are in the End Times!

In the days of Noah (Genesis 6), when God destroyed the earth by a flood because of the violence spread throughout the earth by the Giants who were living on the earth at that time, the Hebrew word for “Violence” is “HAMAS.”  And that should give us cause to pause and consider Jesus’ Prophecy in Matthew 24:32-39 that He would return when it was as in the days of Noah, because it was Hamas, an Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 and continues to spread its Violence, a violence that we have not witnessed before, throughout the earth even as I am writing this chapter!

In Matthew 24:32-39 we find that Jesus’ Prophesied that when the Son of Man Returns it would be as in the days of Noah when God destroyed the earth because of the “Violence” (Hamas) that the Giants who were living at the time spread throughout the earth.  The Hamas (violence) that the Giants spread throughout the earth was so intense and excessive and severe that it was “over and above” the violence that we here in America have come to expect to see on an everyday basis in our generation.  Hamas’ violence is absence of any fear of God.  Genesis 6; Matthew 24:32-39

What?  It cannot just be happenstance that the name of the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization that attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 on behalf of Iran is Hamas.

What?  Hamas’ goal is to destroy the State of Israel through Jihad – so-called Holy Wars fought by Islamic soldiers, also known as holy warriors.

Read the following excerpt from Hamas’ 1988 Covenant and their commitment to wipe Israel off the face of the earth:

The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement:

The Covenant

of the

Islamic Resistance Movement

18 August 1988

In The Name Of The Most Merciful Allah

"Ye are the best nation that hath been raised up unto mankind: ye command that which is just, and ye forbid that which is unjust, and ye believe in Allah. And if they who have received the scriptures had believed, it had surely been the better for them: there are believers among them, but the greater part of them are transgressors. They shall not hurt you, unless with a slight hurt; and if they fight against you, they shall turn their backs to you, and they shall not be helped. They are smitten with vileness wheresoever they are found; unless they obtain security by entering into a treaty with Allah, and a treaty with men; and they draw on themselves indignation from Allah, and they are afflicted with poverty. This they suffer, because they disbelieved the signs of Allah, and slew the prophets unjustly; this, because they were rebellious, and transgressed." (Al-Imran - verses 109-111).

Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it" (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).

"The Islamic world is on fire. Each of us should pour some water, no matter how little, to extinguish whatever one can without waiting for the others." (Sheikh Amjad al-Zahawi, of blessed memory).

In The Name Of The Most Merciful Allah”

Hamas believes that it is their duty to destroy the State of Israel through Jihad (Islamic Holy War).  According to their charter, Hamas targets Christians as well as the Jewish people.  And, it’s shocking to know that Hamas is using the current conflict in Israel to conduct attacks here on American soil.  Our politicians are appeasing the followers of Hamas here in America for their own political purposes.  What these politicians don’t understand is that they are pawns of Hamas and that in due time, and when it is too late, they too will know the wrath of Hamas.

Hamas demands that Judaism and Christianity accept Islamic rule in the Middle East.  Hamas has proclaimed that it is the duty of the followers of other religions to stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in the Middle East – if not, after Hamas takes over, the followers of Judaism and Christianity will know the carnage, displacement and terror of Hamas.  Article 31

What?  This was the motivation behind Hamas’ attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.  Hamas believes that their attack on Israel is their duty and as such, that all attacks on Israel and/or Christians are holy wars fought by Islamic holy soldiers.

Given Jesus’ Prophecy in Matthew 24:32-39, surely we are in the End Times because it is as in the Days of Noah.  Surely the events we are witnessing on earth today is as it was in the Days of Hamas!

Given that Hamas the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization has their Stronghold in Gaza, one of the five Philistine city-states listed in the Bible, we want to consider the account of King David and Goliath, the Philistine Giant that David killed:

  • like Goliath, the Philistine Giant from the Philistine city-state of Gath that King David slew – Hamas’  stronghold is in the present-day Philistine city-state of Gaza
  • like Goliath, the Philistine Giant from the Philistine city-state of Gath that King David slew – Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, they too are connected to the Philistines of the Bible – again, their stronghold is in the present-day Philistine city-state of Gaza
  • More to the point, Hamas and those living in Gath and Gaza are the spiritual offspring of those who lived in the five Philistine city-states during the time King David killed Goliath, the Philistine Giant

And, that brings me back to Genesis 6 when God destroyed the earth because of the “HAMAS” (violence) the Giants spread throughout the earth.

Just as it was in the days of Noah – Hamas is once again being spread throughout the earth this time by Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization that operates out of the Philistine city-state of Gaza!

End Time Prophecy is coming to Pass in our own generation:  According to Jesus, the Aggressive, Brutality and Intensity of the Hostile Violence that we are seeing spread throughout the earth by Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, is a Sign of the Second Coming of Christ – Matthew 24:32-39.

The violence/hamas that Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, is causing throughout the earth is a Violence/Hamas that is a reflection of the tumultuous rebellion of man whom God has created in His image.

The violence that Hamas caused on October 7, 2023 when they attacked Israel was that of total depravity – a violence of such depravity that it is impossible to find words to express the depth of their violence – violence that only tyrants like the soldiers of Hamas want to cause.

Men who break the laws of God are not likely to keep the laws of man – quite the contrary.

As noted above, Hamas’ Charter speaks of the Extreme Supremacy of Evil:  According to Hamas’ charter, their goal is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.  And, that tells us that evil exists in their imaginations, evil controls their thoughts, evil exists in their hearts, nothing but evil through and through and not just for a moment – but always – 24 by seven.

Do Hamas and the modern-day Philistines dare touch Israel – the apple of God’s eye – God’s most precious possession?

Zechariah 2:8 8 For thus said the LORD of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye: ESV

Zechariah 2:8 8 After a period of glory, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies sent me against the nations who plundered you. For he said, “Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession. NLT

So, observe and understand that the wrongful, violent, aggressive, and hostile behavior and anti-Semitism being spread throughout the earth after Hamas wrongfully and violently attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 is a Sign of the End Times.

Just as it was in the days of Noah, the earth is once again being defiled by a violence that is over and above the violence that we here in America might expect to see on an everyday basis.  The violence we see being spread by Hamas is a violence absence of any fear of God – a violence whose only goal is the destruction and misery of the Jewish people and anyone who comes to their aid.

Men so violent that they boast of their wickedness!

And, Hamas, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, is living up to the name!  Even the Israelis are saying they have never seen violence to this degree in our generation.

Just as it was in the days of Noah –

so it is today –

the earth is filled with “Hamas,” the Hebrew word for “Violence”

Observe and Understand the Signs of the Times:  Again, according to Matthew 24:32-39, Jesus Prophesied that when the Son of Man Returns things will be just like it was in Noah’s day when God destroyed the earth and all living creatures because the Giant Nephilim filled the earth with Violence.

Genesis 6:13 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. KJV

Matthew 24:32-39 32 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near--at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.  35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.      36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. NKJV

Given that Jesus prophesied that when He returned things here on earth would be just as they were when Noah lived, then we need to take a closer look at Genesis 6 when they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage.  Genesis 6 reveals that in Noah’s days God destroyed the earth because the, “sons of God,” who were “fallen angels,” were marring the “daughters of men.”  And, their offspring, the Giant Nephilim, filled the earth with their violence (HAMAS).  Matthew 24:32-39

Hamas’ unprecedented attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and the unprecedented Surge of Anti-Semitism that is spreading throughout the earth after Hamas attacked Israel are Signs of the Return of Christ.

We know from many Scriptures that the name of someone revealed something of their character.  For example,

Genesis 17:5 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

Genesis 17:15-16 15 And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. 16 And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. KJV

Genesis 32:27-28 27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. KJV

Hence, the Profound importance of Jesus’ prophecy in Matthew 24 concerning what signs we should expect to see as to when He would return and that the End of the World is near.  There were many signs, but for the purposes of this book, my focus will be on the Wars that are to be expected and the sign that Jesus told His disciples the coming of the Son of man would be as it was in the days of Noah when the earth was filled with HAMAS.

In the days of Noah, God destroyed the earth with a flood because of the Hamas throughout the earth. This time the Lord will destroy the earth by fire because of the Hamas that is going throughout the earth as we are now witnessing.

2 Peter 3:6-13 6 Then He used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. 7 And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed. 8 But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. 9 The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment. 11 Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, 12 looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. 13 But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness.  NLT
