Chapter 16: The Scriptural Account in Daniel 10 reveals that there is an Ongoing War in the
Spiritual Realm between the spirit Prince of Persia (present-day Iran) who
Stands Guard over Persia’s Borders, both in the Spiritual Realm as well as
here on Earth, and Michael the Guardian Angel over Israel. The Spirit Prince of Persia is a Supernatural
Power who, in the interests of Satan, was able to
exercise his Influence over the Realm of Ancient Persia, which at the time,
Ancient Persia was the World Power that Israel was then subject. And, so it is today, in the interests of
Satan, the spirit Prince of Persia exerts his influence over present-day
Iran, the descendants of Ancient Persia. The
Fatima Gate – the “Good Fence Crossing”:
In this particular chapter the Fatima Gate – the “Good Fence
Crossing,” at one time the Official Border Crossing between Israel and
Lebanon, is of particular interest given that Lebanon’s Fatima Gate has
become the Front Line in Lebanon’s ongoing Battles with Israel at the Border
Israel shares with Lebanon. The
Good Fence Memorial:
Of particular interest is the “Fatima Gate – the Good Fence Crossing”
because it is part of the “Good Fence Memorial” where I made an hour-long
video on October 7, 2023 while the war was raging between Israel and Hamas
after Hamas breached the Border Gaza shares with Israel and crossing over the
Border attacked the Nation of Israel. The
spirit prince and spirit kings of Persia were the Geographical Principalities
who stood guard over the Borders of Ancient Persia both in the spiritual
realm and here on earth: As the spirit guardians over Ancient Persia
the spirit prince and spirit kings of Persia were able to influence the
earthly rulers of Ancient Persia – and so it is today with Iran the descendants
of Ancient Persia and their Proxies in both Lebanon and Gaza. The
Spirit Prince of Persia continues to stand guard over the Borders Lebanon
shares with Israel and the “Fatima Gate” – the “Good Fence Crossing” at one
time the Official Border Crossing Between Israel and Lebanon: Since May 2000 after the last Israeli
Soldier withdrew from the Security Zone in Lebanon he put a padlock on the
Fatima Gate and it has remained closed ever since. However, the war between Israel and Lebanon
still rages on. The Iranian War
Against Israel is fought through their Proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas. And, even though the Israeli soldier locked the Fatima Gate –
Lebanon’s Fatima Gate has become the front line in Lebanon’s battle with
Israel. The focus on the Fatima Gate is because of the spiritual aspects
of the Fatima Gate! Needless to say,
the “Fatima Gate” that was named after the favorite daughter of Islam’s
Prophet Mohammad, a descendant of Ishmael, is a Gate of the Enemy because
Scripture tells us that the offspring of Ishmael will always be opposed to
God’s people. When Daniel 10 was written the Prince of Persia was the angel of
darkness that exerted its influence over the Persian Empire. At the time the Persian Empire was the
world power that Israel was then subject.
And, so it is today, the goal of the Prince of Persia is to make
Israel subject to Iran and in essence subject to them. The account in Daniel 10 reveals that there is an ongoing war in
the heavens between the spirit prince and spirit kings of Ancient Persia who
detained Gabriel, God’s messenger, from reaching earth with a message for
Daniel from God. These evil spirits
who detained Gabriel were finally overcome by Michael, the Archangel who
protects the people of God and came to Gabriel’s rescue. Today Ancient Persia is known as Present-day Iran. And, just as the prince and kings of Persia
ruled over Ancient Persia, so it is with Iran. And, the spirit prince and kings of Persia
also have authority over Hezbollah and Hamas, both Terrorist Organizations
who are proxies of Iran – hence, the reason the spirit prince and kings of
Persia have authority over Hezbollah and Hamas and in essence the “Borders of
Lebanon and Gaza” who have allowed Hezbollah and Hamas to set up strongholds
within their borders. The people of ancient Persia have all died; however, the
principalities of darkness that ruled over ancient Persia didn’t die. The spirit prince and spirit kings of
ancient Persia just go from one generation to the next generation and will do
so until Christ returns and establishes His Kingdom. The account in Daniel 10 reveals that the “Ongoing” “War in the
Heavens” was between God’s angels, Gabriel, God’s Heavenly Messenger, and
Michael, the Archangel, who stands guard over the nation of Israel and God’s
enemies, and the satanic Prince and Kings of Persia. Daniel 10 Michael the Archangel came to the aid of Gabriel to help Gabriel
withstand the attacks of the prince and kings of Persia who had detained
Gabriel for 21 days in the spiritual realm from delivering a heavenly message
from God to Daniel here on earth.
Together, they took their stand in the heavens against the satanic
Prince and Kings of Persia. The
Lebanon Conflict between the Forces for Israel – the IDF and the SLA, their Christian
ally who came to their aid – the
Forces of their enemy – Hezbollah, who had a stronghold in Lebanon – was just
one of the many ongoing battles that began in ancient times under the reign
of Cyrus, King of Persia, and will continue until the End of Time
when Satan and all his angels will be cast to the earth. (Revelation 12) Daniel 10 tells us that when the prince and kings of Persia had
detained Gabriel in the spiritual realm for 21 days, it was only after
Michael, the Archangel over Israel, came to Gabriel’s aid that Gabriel was
able to leave the spiritual realm and deliver God’s message to Daniel. The Archangel Michael remained there with
the Prince and Kings of Persia while Gabriel explained to Daniel the meaning
of the vision Daniel had of the ram and he-goat. The
“Ongoing” Battle: Gabriel had to
return and Continue his Battle with the Prince of Persia. After Gabriel explained Daniel’s
vision to him, Gabriel returned and continued his battle with the prince of
Persia. Daniel 10:13-20 – Daniel 11:1 Daniel 10:20-21 20 He replied, “Do you know why I have come?
Soon I must return to fight against the spirit prince of the kingdom of
Persia, and after that the spirit prince of the kingdom of Greece will come. 21 Meanwhile, I will tell you what is
written in the Book of Truth. (No one helps me against these spirit princes
except Michael, your spirit prince. NLT The
Lebanon Conflict:
And, just as Gabriel and Michael took their stand against the Satanic
Prince of Persia during the reign of King Cyrus – so it is today and it will
continue until the end of time. The
names of the people and terrorist groups they work through change, but the
goals of the prince and kings of Persia will continue and try to thwart God’s
purposes here on earth. Given that Hezbollah’s existence was/is
possible because of Iran’s support, then we know from Daniel 10 that the
Geographical Principalities, the Prince and Kings of Persia are the same
Satanic spirits behind Hezbollah. The Lebanon Conflict between Israel and Hezbollah was simply a
continuation of the ongoing Battle between the “God of the Armies of Israel”
and the Prince of Persia, who continues to have dominion over Ancient Persia
(now known as Iran), the Hostile World Power who is forever fighting against
Israel. Whether the IDF and SLA
realized it or not, there was a spiritual aspect to their conflict on the
ground. As they were battling here on
earth, we know from Daniel 10 that Gabriel and Michael, the Guardian Angel
over the Nation of Israel, would have withstood the Prince and Kings of
Persia on behalf of the “God of the Armies of Israel” (1 Samuel 17:45) – the
Lord of Heaven’s Armies who thwarts the plans of Israel’s enemies (2 Kings
6:8-23) The
Spiritual Battle – on Earth as it is in Heaven: We know from Daniel 10, Ephesians 6 and
Revelation 12, as well as a host of other Scriptures, that all battles here
on earth are being fought in the spiritual realm at the same time the battles
here on earth are being fought. And,
so it was with the IDF’s withdrawal from Lebanon’s Security Zone on May 22,
2000. Ephesians 6: As the IDF
began withdrawing from Lebanon’s Security Zone on May 22, 2000, it was not
just happenstance that I was literally at the Iranian Embassy, the Gateway of
my Enemy,” praying for the safe
withdrawal of the IDF from Lebanon.
And, in accordance with Ephesians 6 and Matthew 16:19, in the Name of
Jesus I bound the Prince and Kings of Persia from interfering as the IDF
withdrew from the Security Zone back into the safety of Israel. And, I could rest in the fact that what is
bound and loosed here on earth is bound and loosed in the heavens. Matthew 16:18-19 18 And
I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my
church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the
kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in
heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in
heaven. KJV First and foremost, the Battle between the IDF and their allies
the SLA against Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization, was a
“Spiritual Battle” – a Spiritual War that was being fought in the heavens
between Gabriel and Michael, and Satan and his angels at the same time as it
was being fought here on earth. The
Contending Armies in the Spiritual Battle in the Heavenlies as recorded in
Daniel 10 are:
The IDF and SLA took their stand against
Hezbollah here on Earth as the battle was also being
fought in the Heavens: The Battle
between Hezbollah and the IDF/SLA was not just about Human Armed Forces. The 18-year battle was just one more battle
that began during the third year of Cyrus, King of Persia, – (Daniel 10) People die, but the satanic spirits that
fell when Satan fell and who operate behind people don’t die because they are
spiritual beings. The Contenders in the Lebanon
Conflict: On Earth: Together, the IDF and
the SLA their Christian ally were battling the PLO and Hezbollah, the
Iranian-backed Terroritst Organization In the Heavens: Given that Hezbollah is an
Iranian-backed Terrorist Organization then we know the satanic spirits
operating behind Hezbollah has to be the Prince and Kings of Persia
(modern-day Iran). And, just as
Gabriel, God’s Heavenly Messenger and Michael, the guardian angel over Israel
worked together to thwart the Prince of Persia’s efforts to keep Gabriel from
delivering God’s message to Daniel they would be the same Angelic beings
taking their stand against the Prince of Persia during the Lebanon conflict On May 22, 2000, on Earth as in
Heaven – what was Bound and Forbidden on Earth was Bound and Forbidden in the
Heavens – Matthew 16:13-20: While standing in the gates of
Israel’s enemies at the Iranian Embassy in Washington, DC, in the Name of
Jesus and by His power and authority the Lord used me to bind and forbid the
prince and kings of Persia from attacking the IDF as they withdrew from
Lebanon’s Security Zone and crossed through the “Good Gate” the official
border crossing at the time between Lebanon and Israel back into Israel. Matthew 16:18-19 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art
Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall
not prevail against it. 19 And I
will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou
shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose
on earth shall be loosed in heaven. KJV There are two distinct aspects to the alliance between Iran and
Hezbollah: 1)
the Human Forces and 2) the Spiritual Forces operating behind them. 1.
Iran
and Hezbollah – The Human Forces :
It’s extremely significant that Hezbollah, whose base is in
Lebanon, was a result of Israel’s presence in Lebanon’s Security Zone
beginning as early as 1982-1983. At
that time Hezbollah became a dominant and formidable militant group during
the IDF’s presence in Lebanon’s Security Zone after the IDF had expelled the
PLO from Lebanon. Hezbollah’s
Political and Religious System:
With the backing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Hezbollah became one of the
most professional and dangerous terrorist organizations of all time. During Israel’s 18 years in Lebanon’s
Security Zone, Hezbollah was a ruthless instrument of both Iran’s Political
and Religious system. Hezbollah
coordinated its efforts closely with Iran’s Supreme Leaders from which it
acquired substantial financial, weaponry and logistical support, as well as
additional militants and other manpower. During the IDF’s 18 years in Lebanon’s Security Zone,
Hezbollah’s ultimate source of authority was Iran’s Supreme Leader. In other words, Hezbollah’s presence in
Lebanon was not dependent on Iran’s political power structure or official
government institutions; rather, Hezbollah’s authority in Lebanon came from
being part of Iran’s religious establishment whose ideology Hezbollah
embraced and promoted. Hezbollah
furthered the ideology and agenda of Iran’s Supreme Leaders (Iran’s Religious
Leader) to whom they pledged their allegiance. Hezbollah used Religion as a Means to Achieve their Political goals –
Religion can serve as a formidable
political tool Hezbollah used Religion as a Means to Achieve
their Political goals:
Again, during the IDF’s 18 years in Lebanon’s Security Zone,
Hezbollah’s relationship with Iran was not solely dependent on Iran’s
political power structure, but on being a major part of Iran’s religious
establishment. And, it is in that
sense that Hezbollah can be thought of as a “Religious Terrorist Organization.” Over time Hezbollah became a political
organization who used Religion (the Koran) simply as a “Means to achieve
their political goals. And, today
Hezbollah is a powerful geopolitical organization. Significantly, Hezbollah, a variation of
Hizb Allāh (Arabic), means “Party of God” or “Party of Allah.” Religion will always be the object of political exploitation for
purposes that have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the salvation of
someone. For example, the Sanhedrin
(the religious establishment) used Pilate, the Roman Governor (the
political), to achieve their goal of having Christ crucified. It’s
a Biblical principle that Satan has to use the political as well as the
religious establishment to achieve his goals against Christianity and the
nation of Israel. Just as the slave owners and slave traders here in America used
Scriptures they twisted to stir up the public in favor of slavery – people
today still use religion whenever and wherever they can to further their
cause and/or political agenda. Today,
we see politicians and people misrepresent Scripture to stir up the public to
further their political campaigns and to support battles and wars even when
America “has no dog in the fight,” and worse yet, the battle is not about
religion, at least in the sense they claim.
Politicians and false teachers often use religion as the means to the
end. Over the ages, history has proven
that Religion can serve as a
formidable political tool – one that wields a great deal of influence
over people and even nations. Satan used the Sanhedrin (the
religious) as well as the Roman Government (the political) to Crucify Christ. And, that explains why the Lord opened the door for me to attend
a Christian meeting (the religious) at the Iranian Embassy (the political) on
the evening the IDF began to withdraw on May 22, 2000 to intercede for their
safe withdrawal from Lebanon’s Security Zone. 2.
Iran
and Hezbollah – The Spiritual Forces operating behind them ·
The Prince and Kings of Persia – evil
satanic spirits who were able to exert their influences over both political
and religious people such as the Iranian leaders and Hezbollah. Hezbollah was more than a Physical Foe – they were a
Spiritual Foe The
Prince and Kings of Persia: The Book of Esther and Daniel 10 are two
Biblical accounts of Persia that gives us all we need to know about the
satanic spirits that still operate through the political and religious
leaders of Iran. Given that Iran is the real power behind Hezbollah, then we know
that the Prince and Kings of Persia (the satanic Spiritual Powers) who
exercised their influence over the Persian realm in the interests of Satan
when Daniel wrote the tenth chapter of the Book of Daniel – then we know that
they are the same satanic beings who were exercising their influence over and
through both Iran and Hezbollah, specifically the ancient Prince and Kings of
Persia as described in Daniel 10. At the time Chapter 10 of the Book of Daniel was written, the
Persian King Cyrus had conquered the Babylonia Empire. At this time in Israel’s history, the
Israelites had been in captivity in Babylon when Cyrus, King of the Medes and
the Persians defeated Babylon and took over as their captors. The Prince and Kings of Persia, as recorded in Daniel 10, are
geographical principalities (spiritual beings) whose nature is both religious
and political and who try to influence human beings to oppose God’s will and
purposes for Israel. They are evil
spiritual entities that wield authority over any geographical area under the
domain and authority of Iran, including the Iranian Embassy in the United
States, or in areas where they are not confronted. Satan doesn’t select just any principality or demonic spirit to
do his bidding. He has to call upon
the geographical “Prince and Kings” or “Baals” over the geographical area
they have dominion over. For example,
when Daniel had his vision as told in Daniel 10, he was under the rule of
Cyrus, King of Persia (modern-day Iran) – who had authority over ancient
Babylon – hence, it was the Prince and Kings of Persia that withstood Gabriel
from delivering God’s message to Daniel – not the prince and king of some
other geographical area, like Egypt, for example. The Prince and Kings” of Persia still have authority over Persia
(modern-day Iran), including the Iranian Embassies that are located in other countries, such
as the Iranian Embassy located in Washington, D.C. In other words, the Prince and Kings of
Persia would not have any authority over Bermuda, England, Africa, and so on
unless Iran had an Embassy located in any of those countries. It’s important to note that the
principalities would only have authority over the Iranian Embassy itself and
not the country the Iranian Embassy is located in unless the host country
gave them an opening they could use to gain a foothold in the host
country. Lebanon gave the princes and
kings of Persia a place over their nation by allowing Hezbollah to have
political positions. The
Prince and Kings of Persia are “Political Spirits”: Organizations like Hezbollah will come and
go, however, the country of Iran and the Prince and Kings of Persia, the
spiritual beings over Persia, don’t come and go. People and organizations die, however, the
demonic spirits operating through them don’t die. They just go from one generation to another
and from one terrorist group to another – they don’t care what you call the
organization they are able to influence and operate through. And, it’s important to note that the
attributes of the Prince and Kings of Persia are in keeping with their titles
as they are political in nature. In
other words the Prince and Kings of Persia are “political spirits.” Political Spirits:
Satan is the “Prince of this World” Christ Identified Satan as the
“Prince” of this World.” And, by
definition, Prince of this World, means, that Satan is “First in Political
Rank or Power” of this World and that includes America. And, in the context of Scripture, Jesus was
referring to Satan as a “Spiritual Prince” whose nature is political. Keep in mind, when Satan offered Jesus the
Kingdoms of this world if He would only bow down and worship him, Jesus
didn’t deny that the kingdoms of this world were his to give. John
14:28-31 28 Ye have heard how I said unto
you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved Me, ye would
rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for My Father is greater than
I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when
it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know
that I love the Father; and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do.
Arise, let us go hence. KJV According to Strong’s Greek
Dictionary, the word “Prince” [G758 from G757] in the context of John 14:30
is referring to someone who is “first
in political rank or power” – and in the context of John 14:30 the
reference was to Satan. What! When Jesus was speaking with His Disciples
He identified Satan, His arch enemy,
as “Prince” of this world – by definition – a devil that was “first in
Political Rank or Power” in this world.
And, Luke 4 echoes what Christ reveals to us in John 14:28-31 about
the power and authority that Satan has here on earth. By Definition: Christ
identified Satan as “Prince of this World” because of Satan’s nature – who
Satan really is. And, in addition to
being identified as “Prince of this World” (John 14:28-31), there are many
other Scriptures that, by definition, identifies Satan as being “First in
Political Rank or Power.” Throughout
the New Testament, Satan is referred to as the Prince of this world (John
14:28-31; 16:11) and "the Prince of the devils" (Matthew 12:24), to
mention a few.
On
Earth as in Heaven:
We know from Daniel 10:13 and Revelation 12, as the battles here on
earth are being fought there is a spiritual conflict going on in the heavens
between God’s Armies and the Armies of Satan.
Revelation 12:7 reveals that as Michael and his angels fought against
the dragon and his angels in the heavens, – here on earth, the Believers were
winning their spiritual battle by the blood of Jesus and their testimony unto
Christ. And, because of both battles,
the battle in the heavens as well as the one here on earth, Satan and his
angels lost their place in the spiritual realm and were thrown to the earth. Revelation 12:7-12 7 Then
there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the
dragon and his angels. 8 And the dragon lost the battle, and he
and his angels were forced out of heaven. 9 This great
dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the
whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. 10 Then
I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last—
salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of His
Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down to
earth— the one who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 And
they have defeated him by the blood of
the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so
much that they were afraid to die. 12 Therefore, rejoice, O
heavens! And you who live in the heavens, rejoice! But terror will come on
the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you in great anger,
knowing that he has little time.” NLT Until the end of time, the spiritual battle is raging in the
heavens. And, until the end of time
the Christians here on earth will continue to defeat Satan by the blood of
Jesus and by their testimony unto Christ – and the fallen angels will
continue to be cast out of the heavens – they will be forever falling until
the end comes. And, we pray “Come Lord
