Chapter 35: The “Origins” of the Unprecedented and Alarming Rise of Anti-Semitism, Anti Israel, Anti-Christian and Pro-Palestine Movements here in America after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 took Root in 1797 when President John Adams and the United States Senate Entered into a “Perpetual” Treaty with Muslim Pirates who hated Christians, specifically the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary.
When Americas’ Lawmakers signed the Treaty of Tripoli in 1797 with the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary to Secure Commercial Shipping Rights and Protect American Ships in the Mediterranean that the Barbary Pirates were attacking, America’s Lawmakers assured the Muslim Pirates that hated Christians that the government of the United States of America was not in any sense founded on the percepts of Christianity.
To add insult to injury America’s Lawmakers assured the Barbary Pirates of Tripoli, Muslim Pirates who hated Christians, that the United States of America had no enmity against the laws or religion of Islam.
Hence, Article 11 of the “Treaty of Tripoli” that reads: |

Genesis 12:3 3“I will bless those who bless you, And I. will curse him who curses you; And in you, all the. families of the earth shall be blessed.” NKJV
It’s a Biblical Principle that History repeats itself and just as it was in 1797 – so it is today! Ecclesiastes 1:9-11
Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 tells us that History Repeats Itself: It’s obvious that like the Lawmakers who entered into a Perpetual Agreement in 1797 with Muslims that hated Christians, many of today’s Lawmakers are “Anti-Christian” and have no enmity with Muslims or the percepts of Islam that call for the extermination of the Jewish people. In fact, Hamas’ Constitution specifically calls for the extermination of the Jewish people. Yet, many of our Lawmakers want us to believe that Hamas is the victim and Israel the aggressor, and that Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attack on Israel was justified.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 9 History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new. 10 Sometimes people say, “Here is something new!” But actually it is old; nothing is ever truly new. 11 We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now. NLT What we are seeing today here in America is just a manifestation of “history repeating itself.” Given Article 11 of the “Treaty of Tripoli” why should anyone here in America be surprised that many of our Lawmakers are protecting the “Anti-Semitic” and “Anti-America” groups who are protesting at the Ivy League campuses and many other campuses all across the United States who are calling for “death to America,” as well as the death of all Jews here in America and the extermination of all Jews in Israel.
By way of history:
To begin with, the Barbary pirates, also known as Ottoman Corsairs, that America’s lawmakers signed an agreement with were Muslim Pirates and Slave Traders who hated Christians. The Barbary Pirates were nothing more than “Radical Muslims” motivated by the acquisition of wealth, regardless of the cost of human lives – including the lives of Americans, especially Americans who were Christians. During their time in power the Barbary pirates kidnapped and sold into slavery over one million European Christians.
The Muslim Pirates/Ottoman Corsairs' motives for attacking Christian shipping along the Barbary Coast and Mediterranean were fostered as much by religious hatred as by financial gain. Barbary Piracy committed by Muslim Pirates was an extension of a holy war of Muslims against Christians whom they considered infidels. According to the Barbary Pirates, the Koran permitted them to enslave non-believers, which included all vessels they believed to have Christians onboard. Those Christians captured by the Barbary Pirates were treated more cruelly than the non-Christians they captured.
The Middle East conflict and the Anti-Semitism that we are now seeing in America as well as in other countries were prophesied in the Old Testament. The conflict we are seeing in 2024 is the continuation of the ancient conflict between the descendants of Isaac and the descendants of Ishmael, and it will continue until the second coming of Christ.
We know from Scripture that the offspring of Isaac, one of Israel’s three patriarchs, and the offspring of Ishmael, who is the father of the Arabs who Abraham sent away because he persecuted Isaac, will always find the followers of Christ as well as the Jewish people offensive. Genesis 16:10-12, Genesis 21:14, 20-21, Genesis 25:12-16. We know from Galatians 4:28-31 that the offspring of Ishmael will always “Persecute” the Jewish people as well as Christians.
Galatians 4:28-31 28 And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac. 29 But you are now being persecuted by those who want you to keep the law, just as Ishmael, the child born by human effort, persecuted Isaac, the child born by the power of the Spirit. 30 But what do the Scriptures say about that? “Get rid of the slave and her son, for the son of the slave woman will not share the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” 31 So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman; we are children of the free woman. NLT
However, instead of “Casting out the Offspring of Ishmael,” America’s Government entered into a “Perpetual Agreement with those who hated Christians! Needless to say, President Adams and the Senate who signed the Treaty of Tripoli were Offended by the Cross of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:23, Galatians 5:11, 1 Peter 2:8

Woe to America for rejecting the God of Israel and for Trampling on the Cross of Jesus Christ!
President George Washington and President John Adams were both Instrumental in Securing a Treaty with the Barbary Pirates: Negotiations for the “Treaty of Tripoli” had been initiated by George Washington and his administration. And, even though George Washington was president when the treaty was signed at Tripoli and certified in Algiers, given the means of travel at the time with an additional stop in Algiers and Portugal, the treaty took 7 months to actually arrive in America, which meant that it didn't arrive in America until 2 months after Washington left office. Hence, President Adams signed the treaty.
By the time the Treaty, negotiated by Joel Barlow on behalf of George Washington, reached the Senate for ratification John Adams had been elected president and it was Adams who presented the treaty to the Senate for ratification, which they did so unanimously.
In 1797 when President John Adams and the United States Senate Unanimously Signed the “Perpetual” Treaty of Tripoli, they assured Tripoli, via Article 11 of the Treaty, that the Government of the United States of America was not in any sense Founded on the Christian Religion and that the United States of America did not have any Enmity against the Laws, Religion or Tranquility of Muslims!
What! America’s government, including George Washington who initiated the Treaty, was united in their beliefs that America was not in any sense founded on Christianity.
However, not all of President Adams’ Cabinet members were governed by President Adams and the Senate’s worldly laws. For example, we know from a letter James McHenry, Secretary of War, wrote to Oliver Wolcott, Secretary of the Treasury, concerning the Treaty of Tripoli, that he was governed by the Laws of Heaven and defended the Cross of Jesus Christ.
James McHenry was one of America’s Founding Fathers who Signed the Constitution and from McHenry’s Perspective, America was founded on Christianity: McHenry, one of the Founding Fathers who served as the Secretary of War under both George Washington and John Adams, wrote that before America’s Lawmakers signed the Treaty of Tripoli, he cautioned the Lawmakers that they ought not to ratify such a treaty because they would be “Trampling upon the Cross.” Thankfully, Secretary of War James McHenry, one of the men who signed the Constitution, was not governed by worldly laws. James McHenry was governed by the laws of Heaven – hence, his question, “What else is it founded on” if not on Christianity? So, to say that the government of the United States of America “is not in any sense” founded on the Christians Religion” was a false statement.” Yet, to McHenry’s dismay, America’s Lawmakers ratified and signed the Treaty of Tripoli.
James McHenry’s question was a valid question because he was one of America’s Founding Fathers who signed the Constitution; therefore, from McHenry’s perspective, America was founded on Christianity and as someone who signed the Constitution, McHenry would have known and he had every right to ask the question. The point I want to make is that there were many of America’s Founding Fathers who honestly believed that the United States of America was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
America’s Lawmakers “Trampled Upon the Cross of Jesus Christ”: Secretary of War James McHenry made it clear to President John Adams and the Senate that if they signed the Treaty of Tripoli with Article 11 as part of the Treaty that America would be “Trampling upon the Cross.”

Woe to America! Woe to America for Trampling upon the Cross of Jesus Christ when they signed the Treaty of Tripoli and not just a treaty, but a “Perpetual Treaty!”
A Perpetual Treaty: According to Article 1of the Treaty, the Treaty of Tripoli is a “Perpetual” Treaty. And, to this day (2024) the Perpetual Treaty with Tripoli (modern-day Libya) is still in effect!

The Treaty of Tripoli was also a Treaty with the Ottoman Empire: The Treaty that the American government signed with Tripoli, first and foremost, was with the Ottoman Turks – because like the other countries who were all vassals of the Ottoman Empire, the representatives of Tripoli could not have signed said treaty without the approval of the Ottoman Empire, which we know will rise again. Moreover, the United States of America was required to pay tribute to Tripoli to ensure that they would not continue to be attacked on the high seas. A portion of the tribute money America was required to pay to Tripoli would have found its way into the hands of the Ottoman Empire.
Tripoli was a province of the Ottoman Empire from 1711 to 1835, which means that the government of Tripoli would not have entered into an agreement with America in 1797 unless the Turkish Ottoman Empire approved of that treaty. In essence, the Treaty of Tripoli was a Treaty between America and the Turkish Ottoman Empire as well as Tripoli (modern-day Libya). Hence, it is significant that Turkey is where the Throne Room of Satan is located. Revelation 2:12-17 Also, the treaty was signed while the Ottoman Turks had control of Jerusalem.
A Perpetual Treaty: Again, to this day (2024) the Perpetual Treaty with Tripoli (modern-day Libya) is still in effect. In Essence, when America signed the Treaty of Tripoli, whether they understood the significance of the relationship between Tripoli and the Ottoman Empire or not – America was signing the treaty with the Ottoman Empire as well.
And, that is significant because that means America has a Perpetual Treaty with the Principalities that were operating behind the Ottoman Empire and the representatives of Tripoli (Daniel 10). And, that brings me to Revelation 2:12-17 and the letter to the Angel of the Church in Pergamum (Pergamos) Turkey where Satan’s Throne Room is located and where Satan was worshipped as Aesculapius, the pagan god of healing.
Satan’s Throne Room is Located in Present-day Turkey, once known as the “Turkish Ottoman Empire”:
Revelation 2:12-13 12 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Pergamum. This is the message from the one with the sharp two-edged sword: 13 “I know that you live in the city where Satan has his throne, yet you have remained loyal to me. You refused to deny me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, was martyred among you there in Satan’s city. NLT
Aesculapius, the serpent god of healing: At Pergamos/Pergamum the pagans worshipped many deities; however, for the purposes of this chapter, Satan, that old ancient serpent whose Throne Room is located in Pergamos, Turkey (Revelation 2:10), is the main focus. Satan, under the guise of the serpent god “Aesclepius” (also Asclepios, Asculapius),” was the principality the pagans worshipped as the serpent god of healing at the Asclepion (Aesclepion, Aesclepieion) – one of three hospitals in the ancient world. The Asclepions were the first hospitals in the world and were the foreshadowing of the hospitals that exist throughout today’s world.
And, so it is today. In Genesis 3:14 we find that God cursed the serpent, yet the Symbol of a Serpent wrapped around a pole is found on ambulances, prescription bottles, physicians’ offices, and so on – in other words, “everywhere.”
The Aesclepion hospital in Pergamos where Satan was worshipped as the god of healing is Satan’s Throne Room. The following image of a serpent wrapped around a pillar is from a marble pillar at the entrance of the Asclepion in ancient Pergamos – present-day Pergamum, Turkey. And, it is because of this particular image of a serpent wrapped around the pillar that it is believed that the ancient Aesclepion in Pergamos, Turkey is the Throne Room of Satan. It’s significant that this symbol is still the symbol of medicine around the world. |

This particular symbol of a serpent wrapped around a pole that is seen everywhere in America takes away from the fact that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is our healer. And, that it is by the stripes of Jesus Christ that we are healed – Isaiah 53:5.

Only Ten years after the Constitutional Convention the question, “Is the United States a Christian nation?” obviously came up. And the answer from the President and Senate was a resounding, No!
Ten years after the Constitutional Convention President Adams and the Senate assured the Muslim world that the government of the United States was a secular government, and that its negotiations with the government of Tripoli, Tunisia, Algiers and Morocco would adhere to the rule of law, not the dictates of Christianity – hence, Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli signed in 1797. President John Adams and the Senate made it clear that the Treaty was between sovereign states – not between religious powers.
On page 45 of the “Temple of Liberty” by Pamela Scott, based on documentation that she had access to housed at “The Library of Congress” she made the observation that Liberty was a “new secular religion” in Revolutionary America. In other words, no one should be surprised when some of our founding fathers and senate signed the “Treaty of Tripoli in 1797” proclaiming that America’s government was not founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As a Christian living in America it’s just that – I’m a Christian who lives in America However, my Citizenship is in Heaven – Philippians 3:20
Philippians 3:17-21 17 Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. 18 For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. 20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. NLT
We know that there are many, many Christians in America who have a personal relationship with the Lord. However, no matter how many Christians or Churches there are in America – that doesn’t mean that our Government was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ – because according to President Adams and the entire Senate in session in 1797 – it wasn’t. Without a doubt there are many Christians living in America; however, that doesn’t make America or any nation a Christian nation. How can any Christian look at America today and say we are a Christian nation?
More to the Point: Like other Christians, I would have wanted our founding fathers to have proclaimed that America’s government was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, they didn’t. And, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because we are to work out our own salvation. Our walk with the Lord is a personal walk. It doesn’t matter if the United States of America is a “secular government” – what is important is that I am a Believer in Christ Jesus and that my citizenship is in Heaven.
The Poisonous Vines of the Treaty of Tripoli: The Treaty of Tripoli can be compared to the Vines of Sibmah that the Prophet Jeremiah spoke of in Jeremiah 48:32 whose Tendrils of Influence stretched across the sea Spreading its Poisonous Influence, thus ruining many Vineyards here in America both then and now in 2024.
Jeremiah 48:32 32 “O vines of Sibmah, I will weep for you More than the weeping of Jazer [over its ruins and wasted vineyards]. Your tendrils [of influence] stretched across the sea, Reaching [even] to the sea of Jazer. The destroyer has fallen On your summer fruits and your [season’s] crop of grapes. Amplified Bible
The poisonous vines from Tripoli spread from Tripoli across the sea and spreading its poisonous influence throughout America’s government and America itself.
The Treaty of Tripoli and its Poisonous Vines: The roots from which these vines of influence sprung from are the roots of bitterness that trouble and defile many (Hebrews 12:15). Many people were poisoned and continue to be poisoned because of their influence. The poisonous vines of both Tripoli and Turkey (the old Ottoman Empire) continue to grow and thrive as Hamas, Hezbollah and those who support their cause, fertilize, feed and water their roots and vines. Needless to say, these roots of bitterness and their poisonous vines have defiled and poisoned many in the Middle East and here in America and continue to do so!
Just as they did in 1797, the Poisonous Vines of the Treaty of Tripoli have reached our Lawmakers on Capitol Hill: The Poisonous Vines of the Treaty of Tripoli have influenced Senator Schumer (then Senate Majority Leader) and President Biden who have “Lost their Way.” On March 14, 2024 Senator Schumer made the claim that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “has lost his way” and that the Israelis needed to call for new elections. And, on March 15, 2024 President Biden supported Senator Schumer. Both Schumer and Biden are calling for a Two-State solution – they are demanding that the Israelis give Jerusalem, land that God gave to them on Promise, to Hamas.
And, the Tendrils of the Treaty of Tripoli that Stretch across the Sea to America have reached the College and University campuses all across America: Even today, the poisonous vines of the Treaty of Tripoli have proven to be invasive – they are all encompassing throughout present-day America.

George Washington Trampled the Cross of Jesus Christ
The above statue of George Washington on the campus of George Washington University in Washington, DC, draped in a Palestinian flag and a keffiyeh, is simply a reflection of what was in George Washington’s heart when he initiated the birth of the Treaty of Tripoli and approved of Article 11 – a declaration by the American government that the United States of America was in no way founded on Christianity. George Washington as well as John Adams and the Senate that unanimously ratified the Treaty of Tripoli ALL Trampled the Cross of Jesus Christ.
The Poisonous Vines of the Treaty of Tripoli have reached President Biden who has now Betrayed Israel – America’s greatest ally in the Middle east!

“On Tuesday, President Biden mourned antisemitism in front of Holocaust survivors and Jewish families at a Holocaust Remembrance Day event. But those words ring desperately hollow in view of his actions.
After the October 7th massacre, the president said he supported Israel’s right to defend itself as a sovereign nation. But now he’s denying the embattled state the military aid it needs to destroy Hamas. The President has already paused shipments of key munitions and threatened to withhold even more if Israel conducts a ground operation in Rafah.
President Biden’s betrayal of Israel is unforgiveable. Not only has he looked the other way as antisemitism rages across campuses — he’s denying weapons shipments to a nation fighting for its very right to exist. If the president does not stand with Israel, his words of sympathy are empty.”

Biden's decision is driven by political self-interest
An April Harvard-Harris Poll showed that 72% of Americans support an Israeli operation to finish off Hamas in Rafah. 78% are against Hamas's continued control over Gaza, and 80% are more supportive of Israel than Hamas. The Gazan terrorist organization has a 64% unfavorability rating, and the Palestinian Authority 51%. The decision to block weapons trade with Israel is therefore not in the American interest or desire -- It is based on Biden's selfish attempt to court Muslim, Arab, and far-left voters in the presidential election swing state of Michigan.
These voters are not visible to American Jews, but the fringe radicals calling "hands off Rafah" and "Globalize the Intifada" in the same breath are. Biden's embargo, whether directly a response to the protests or not, can be understandably perceived as such. To sum up the “Treaty of Tripoli:
Woe to America who will reap from the sins of those lawmakers who signed the Treaty of Tripoli.
The Gibeonites: The account of the Gibeonites is an example of the Biblical principal that a nation will reap from the decisions made by their lawmakers even after they are long gone and in the grave.
Galatians 6:7 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. KJV
Matthew 23:30-32 30 saying, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ 31 Thus you witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers. ESV
America has “Inherited” the Sins of our Forefathers who entered into the Treaty of Tripoli: Matthew 23:30-32 reveals the Biblical Principle of “Inherited Sin.” More to the point, those Americans who are anti-Israel and anti-Christian are adding to the sins of our Forefathers who Trampled on the Cross of Jesus Christ. And, once the measure of the sins of our Forefathers has been reached, God will surely judge America. Woe to America who has inherited the guilt of America’s founding fathers and lawmakers who agreed to Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli. We are witnessing the accumulated inheritance of evil that has hardened the hearts of those who are Pro-Hamas and anti-Israel and anti-Christian. Woe to those who are walking in the ways of our Forebears who trampled on the Cross of Jesus Christ.
2 Samuel 21 also bears witness that a nation will reap from the sins of a nation’s leader. 2 Samuel 21 is an account of Israel as a nation reaping from the sins of King Saul long after his death.
King Saul Betrayed the Gibeonites: The Scriptural account of King Saul and the Gibeonites reveals that even after his death King Saul’s family and all the Israelites reaped from the sins of King Saul because he betrayed the Gibeonites and put them to death. 2 Samuel 21
King Saul’s sins affected all the citizens of Israel including his family. It was because of the sins of Saul's house that all of Israel was afflicted with a three-year famine that only ended after King David made atonement with the Gibeonites – 2 Samuel 21. Likewise, America will reap from the sins of our Forefathers who signed the Treaty of Tripoli – a Treaty that is still in effect to this day because it was and is a Perpetual Treaty!
The point I want to make is that the sins of those in our government affects the nation as a whole.
And consider Genesis 15:16 that reads:
Genesis 15:16 16 After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.” NLT
After 400 years God judged the Amorites, a term used for all the inhabitants of Canaan, who were at that time occupying the Promised Land. And, it was at that time that God forced the Egyptians to let the Israelites go – the days of Israel’s servitude was fulfilled.
Genesis 15:16 reveals that there is a certain point in time that God will judge a nation for their sins – a time comes when God will not allow a nation to continue in their sins without being judged and reaping from the sins they have sown.
Again, the point I want to make is that the sins of those in our government affects the nation as a whole. Too many Americans have stood by and allowed politicians like Biden, Obama, Omar, Tlaib and McConnell as well as other politicians who are as corrupt as they are to trample the Cross of Jesus Christ. We, as a nation, will reap from those sins as well.
Although Galatians 6:7 is speaking of individuals reaping what they sow – Deuteronomy 28:15-22 speaks of a nation that rejects God’s statues reaping from what they sow.
The sins of a nation’s leaders ultimately hurt the nation as a whole. Just as the nation of Israel as a whole reaped from the sins of King Saul – Americans suffer from the sins of George Washington who initiated the Treaty of Tripoli and President Adams and the Senate who signed the Treaty of Tripoli into law thus “trampling the Cross of Jesus Christ.” And, America will continue to suffer in a greater way because of all of today’s sins that are now added to the sins of our forefathers. |

The word “Bey” identifies Turkey
“Bey” is a key word in this Treaty as it identifies the “Ottoman Empire” – Turkey. According to Webster’s and other credible sources a “Bey” is a provincial governor in the Ottoman Empire.
Bey means these countries were subjects of the Ottoman Empire and owed their allegiance to what is now known as Turkey.
According to Article 1 – this treaty was to be “Perpetual,” which means that the principalities operating through this treaty are spiritual and spiritual beings don’t die. Given the context of this study – that Magog will advance against Israel from Turkey – then the word “Bey” and “Dey” in this Treaty takes on a whole new meaning.

More to the point, in essence, the Treaty was between the United States and the Ottoman Empire – modern-day Turkey, as much as it was with Tripoli, Algiers and Tunis – all three countries vassal states of the Ottoman Empire.
According to Article 1 – this treaty was to be “Perpetual,” which means that the spiritual principalities operating through this treaty are still operating through this Treaty. Spiritual beings don’t die. And, I have no doubt that America will join Turkey (Magog) in the End Times and advance against Israel. Article 11 of this Treaty which states that America’s government is not a Christian government is a confirmation. |

Article 10
The “Bey” of Tripoli identifies a representative of the “Ottoman Empire” – modern-day Turkey. Whether it was a “Bey,” a “Dey” or a “Bashaw” that signed the Treaty of Tripoli – all three were subject to the Turkish Ottoman Empire. All three were provincial governors in the Ottoman Empire and pledged their allegiance to modern-day Turkey.
And, spiritually speaking, the Treaty is still binding. In other words, I believe that the United States of America will join Magog in their advance against Israel in the End Times.

What? The government of the United States of America denied Christ – and this denial became the “Law of the Land.”
I want to point out that when this treaty was signed Jerusalem was under the control of the Ottoman Empire who claimed to be the “Protectors of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. This is significant because the Ottoman Sultans, considered to be the Caliph of Islam, saw their presence in Jerusalem as proof of the Muslim’s triumph and superiority over Christian Europe. And, Article 11 would echo those beliefs.

Article 11: We know from Isaiah 9:6 that the government rests upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ. So, in essence, when President Adams and the entire Senate signed the Treaty of Tripoli they denied Jesus Christ whose shoulders carry all the Governments of the world. Romans 13 echoes Isaiah 9:6-7 – all governments are ordained by God. And, those who deny Christ – He will deny them. Woe to the government of the United States for denying Jesus Christ!
Not all of President Adams Cabinet Members agreed with Article 11. In a letter to Secretary of the Treasury Oliver Wolcott, Secretary of War James McHenry wrote that even before America’s Lawmakers signed the Treaty of Tripoli – he cautioned the Lawmakers that they ought not to ratify such a treaty – because they would be “Trampling upon the Cross.” Reference: pages 420-421 of a copy of McHenry’s letter to Oliver Wolcott published in “Memoirs of the Administrations of Washington and John Adams” published in 1846.
McHenry’s comments “Trampling Upon the Cross” is in accordance with Hebrews 10:29 which reads: Hebrews 10:29 29How much greater punishment do you think he will deserve who has rejected and trampled under foot the Son of God, and has considered unclean and common the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and has insulted the Spirit of grace [who imparts the unmerited favor and blessing of God]? Bey: Another reference to the Ottoman Empire – modern-day Turkey
A “Bey” was a ruling official of the Ottoman Empire in northern Africa. Like the “Bey” – the Dey owed their allegiance to the Ottoman Empire.
Note the phrase “Praise be to God &c-. and the reference to Jussuf Bashaw as “whom God Exalt”
Given that it was Jussuf Bashaw – then the reference to God was to the God of Islam – not the God of Christianity.

And, that brings me to Chapter 36 and President Obama whose sins have now been added to those of President Adams: In 2009 President Obama Cited the Treaty of Tripoli in remarks he made while in Egypt to assure the Muslim nations that the United States of America is not nor ever was a Christian Nation and to Justify Elevating Islam to the level of Christianity. And, in doing so, President Obama added to the sins of our Forefathers! Just as it was with President Adams in 1796, so it was with President Obama in 2009. |
